My grandmother’s four brothers started a family funeral home back in the early 70s. Later my uncles had a discrepancy over money because some felt they should’ve been getting more pay. So my Uncle Wesley C Daniel decided to opt out with his brothers and start his own funeral home, Daniel and Son Funeral Home. My Uncle Truman left Bryan Tx and settled in Hempstead to open his own funeral home. My twin Uncles Josephus and Josiah Daniel got out of the business. 50 years later, I’m working part time in my Uncle Wesley Funeral Home. I also carry his first name just as my dad did
