Ingredients:
Rice flour - 1 cup
Rava / Semolina - 1 cup
Maida / Plain Flour - 4 tbsp
Besan / Gram Flour - 3 tbsp
Green chili - 2
Salt - 1 ½ tsp
Curry leaves - cut kia hua 1 sprig
Asafoetida / Hing - pinch
Cumin Seeds / Jeera- 1 tsp
Ginger - 1 inch, grated
Pani - as required
Oil - to cook dosa
Onion - for onion rava dosa

Despite being a Tamilian found your recipe to be accurate and good. I just made a couple of changes which you could adopt . One - add a little of buttermilk which gives the taste of fermented batter ( sugar powder was a very clever addition) and second instead of adding all the spices raw, saute in oil slightly adding mustard seeds and cashews .

Thanks for the recipe. I made a variation to it which you may like. Before turning the dosa, I added onion, kishmish and grated coconut. The taste was super. The most important thing was that it was complete in itself-no chutney, sambar or achaar.
