You know what? I don’t even mind the hate on the Boucher pick, it’s rightly deserved. Not to knock on the guy, but he was absolutely a reach and could have likely been taken in the 2nd round. Yet another masterclass move by Dorion whom I will not miss one bit.

♫ If you're a Sens fan, I feel bad for you, son; I've got 99 problems, but a draft pick ain't one ♪♫
But no seriously, it feels bad to not only see such a low-ranked draft eligible player go that high for no reason, but also because his development is probably at or near its ceiling insofar as what can be reasonably expected from him. It also really sucks that Sens fans seem to be tuning you out. I mean yeah, no one wants to hear a bunch of negative talk about their team, but it also sucks that the only interesting stories and news out there about the team is indeed negative. There's always next year. Hopefully the new GM won't go out there and declare "the rebuild is over" prematurely this time around.

Looks like a bust. He still was under 60 points. Slafkovsky who is ranked the worst first overall pick since Yakapov already has just 7 less points then him at 19! Considering he also had like 2 points in the first 19 games thats amazing. You can argue that its his ice time and it is. HE plays BETTER then Laffy in that role. And as a #1 pick. You have to be a top line Forward or Defenseman. Slaf probably is. Laff probably not.

Lego, as a Sens fan we love you! Sometimes the truth hurts....Listen Boucher was a reach and should have gone in the second but appropriately should have gone in the 3rd round ( definitely a reach here) I can tell you that the Sens community was very taken back when he was drafted 1oth overall, we were hoping for Wyatt Johnston or Fabian Lysell.
