As far as I'm aware, the answer should still be 'yes' in 2024. Chase even mentions it on their blog post here: www.chase.com/personal/credit-cards/education/basics/pay-taxes-with-credit-card
The spend requirement is $8K over 3 months. A $6K limit allows you to spend $6K every month (i.e. $18K over 3 months). Also, if you max out the card too quickly, you can make 1 or more early payments to bring the balance back down.
I just got this card like two months ago, have reached the minimum spend for the bonus points, but haven’t received the bonus points yet. Do you think Chase would give the 120k pts instead of the 100k pts which was the offer back when I applied
You can try. I recently got approved for a card and the next week the SUB offer increased by 70% for somewhat higher spend. It took several rounds of calls, but in the end I just had to meet the higher spend, THEN call Chase and ask for an "escalation" to get the higher SUB. I received a letter in my Chase account confirming they will post the additional points in 1-2 billing cycles. But 2 months out? If you choose to pursue it, best of luck to you.
Problem: For the $8000 spend, one has to certify that it's all for business purposes and none for personal. How does one get around that, if some will be for personal?
@@von2981 It's technically in the terms and conditions, but I assume a lot of people violate this on some level and unsure if Chase takes action against it.
@patrickliao8576 yes where did you get that idea? There is nothing illegal about using this card for any purchase! It's illegal to claim expenses on your INCOME TAXES ! that's fraud.
Ohh.. I was under the impression of 6k limit annually my bad, thank you for clarifying I was going to call them . Just got approved with this card yesterday 🎉😊
Currently on a trip. This card will be waiting for me when I get home. Will turn this welcome bonus into Hyatt points for Hyatt nights for milestone benefits. The circle of Life 😀
As I write this on 7.11.2024, referral links are not showing the 120K offer. However, you could still get the 100K offer via referral while the other person gets 40K. That would make 140K combined between both of you before adding the points earned from spend. It's possible that referral links will show 120K later, but I can't guarantee that.
@@MarkReese DoctorofCredit is reporting people are messaging Chase after they get the 100k referral offer, and Chase is agreeing to increasing the bonus to 120k
@MarkReese mark I have hoarded all my points at virgin Atlantic red airline miles club. Do any of your videos have details on transferring points from 1 club to another?
@@stevedice5963 - No. Once you have miles in a specific airline program, you cannot literally transfer them to a different program. However, you can use them to book flights with partners. I recommend doing searches for what you want (e.g. how to redeem virgin miles for XYZ...) and reading articles specific to that topic.

Can I get to the $8K spend by paying Fed Taxes. I don't AMEX allows it so I'm wondering about Chase...
As far as I'm aware, the answer should still be 'yes' in 2024. Chase even mentions it on their blog post here: www.chase.com/personal/credit-cards/education/basics/pay-taxes-with-credit-card
Am I able to apply for a second ink preferred if I have a second “sole proprietor” business?
It's possible 👍
I do p1 & p2. How long till you think is normal people will have this offer?
Not sure if / when Chase will launch the 120K offer via referral links.
I will be exactly 4/24 mañana finally ; holding off a bit for the ink Cash until beginning of August
What do you do if you get approved but max credit is only 6k how are you going to reach the spend $8K?
The spend requirement is $8K over 3 months.
A $6K limit allows you to spend $6K every month (i.e. $18K over 3 months).
Also, if you max out the card too quickly, you can make 1 or more early payments to bring the balance back down.
Spend the money pay it back and spend again until u meet the required spend limit.
This is an insane offer for a card with a $95 annual fee 😮
It sure is! 🌟
Can you downgrade this card to no annual fee??? I already have chase business ink cash and unlimited.
As far as I'm aware of, yes. You should be able to downgrade to a 2nd Ink Cash or Ink Unlimited.
Thanks for the offer mark. I just got approved and those 120k are gonna be great.
Congrats on your approval! A fantastic card + incredible offer are on their way 📬💨
I want this card! As soon i get back from Japan end of this month, I will get it.
So, this card allow me to transfer to partners without CSR?
Yes, you can transfer to partners with this card alone! ✈️
I got the ink unlimited in January via a targeted offer with the sign up bonus of 120k points
🏆
Will this be a hard pull even if I have unlimited and business cash?
Yes it will.
This is the 2nd biggest offer I’ve ever seen with Chase. I recently got the CBP 3 months ago and made the spend and I think I get 150,000pts
Legit! Was that in brach or targeted?
I just got this card like two months ago, have reached the minimum spend for the bonus points, but haven’t received the bonus points yet. Do you think Chase would give the 120k pts instead of the 100k pts which was the offer back when I applied
Worth reaching out, worst thing they can do is say no

There are data points of Chase matching the offer. Not sure how far back they'll go, but call to find out!
Any idea when this offer ends?
No info on that right now.
Do these points expire after earning them?
As long as your account is open / active, then points do not expire.
Problem: For the $8000 spend, one has to certify that it's all for business purposes and none for personal. How does one get around that, if some will be for personal?
Who says your spend has to be for business? I have this card and I don’t have a business.
@@von2981 It's technically in the terms and conditions, but I assume a lot of people violate this on some level and unsure if Chase takes action against it.
While all spend should be for business, Chase does not require us to certify / prove that the transactions are for business purposes.

For sure

Hard to meet 8k spend in 3 months
Best to pass if it will cause unnecessary spending.

@MarkReese yes I was referring to partners. From watching one of your videos it seemed virgin had the most options so I store going there
Too bad it doesn’t have the 0% intro APR… otherwise you can prepay your car payments or insurance, taxes, etc
Great video mark ! BTW i have done something for you... how can i reach you?
Thank you. Not interested.
@@MarkReese No worries, i have just Re- edited one of your video.. nothing more😅
