Hey Mark! I’ve been following you for a few years now but just wanted to say that i absolutely love your content! I’m in the market for a business credit card due to my small business starting to grow and this video is amazing! Keep up the great work!
I almost feel like the Wyndham Business Earner needs to be #1 on this list not for the current offer (because the offer is pretty sub-par), but for the sheer value and opportunity that card gives you. Plus, how ridiculous Barclays is in their approval process, better to do it earlier in your credit card journey for as little friction as possible.
Hello, I have a question about my credit card. I got a credit card with a $300 limit and the minimum I owe is $17.91. It says: “Minimum Payment Warning: If you make only the minimum payment each period, you will pay more in interest and it will take you longer to pay off your balance. The table is based on your standard minimum payment and does not include any past due and over limit amounts. For example: If you make no additional charges using this card and each month you pay ... only the minimum payment You will pay off the balance shown on this statement in about... 1 months And you will end up paying an estimated total of ... $18.00” Do I pay $17.91, $18.00, or more than that to avoid interest? And is it best to pay by the statement date or the due date? Or do I split it into paying half by thr statement date and half by the due date? Also, would it be best to use my credit card every month?
Always pay the full statement balance in full to avoid interest. In other words, however much you charged to the card in the roughly 30-day billing cycle is the amount you'll pay. You'll pay that full amount on the Due Date, or any date before then. Learn more from this video: ruclips.net/video/BtIwGldr9rY/видео.htmlsi=AaVkRHPZbSLLozRF
I really want the preferred card but I don’t spend $8k in 3 months. Just a small side business. Do you think I should use it for personal for the first 3 months and then use it for business?
Hi Mark. My business is selling trading cards online. I work completely from home and I don't have expenses other than trading card inventory, (which is still a ton). With that in mind, is it smart to apply for one of these business cards or is there a consumer credit card that may fit my business needs more?
Sounds like you'd benefit from a card that earns 2X points (e.g. Amex Blue Business Plus) if you prefer travel or 2% cash back (e.g. Citi Double Cash) if you prefer cash rewards.
I own a business. What is the best card to run my expenses thru to earn free flights? Whether it be a personal card or business card. I can only use United, or American where i live
What do you anticipate spending most on? What kind of travel? Are you willing to learn the complexities of maximizing rewards value, or do you prefer straightforward / simple redemptions?
@@MarkReese Relocating out of state so upfront costs of a home office follow by out of state air travel multiple times a month. Looking to utilize the upfront costs via bonuses then maximize air points.
@@tylerbroek - I'd look into the Chase Ink Business Cash mentioned in the video for a 5% return at Office Supply Stores. Points with this card alone are worth a maximum of 1¢ each for travel, so 75,000 points = $750. If you want to make them worth 25% more towards travel (75,000 points = $937.50), consider adding the Chase Ink Business Preferred as well. This card will also give you access to Chase's transfer partners for even greater potential value, and also earn 3X on Travel.
😁👍 A card earning 2% will (slightly) beat the online service charge by Pay1040, payUSAtax, and others. Paying taxes is also a great time to consider signing up for a new card so the tax payment can count towards the initial bonus requirement. Getting a large bonus can end up being a high return on spend.

It's an excellent product, but I rarely recommend earning hotel points / airline miles as a primary strategy.
How long to wait before applying for next chase business card?
I'm not aware of a wait time between Chase business credit cards. I'd personally wait 30+ days.

I'm very interested in the US Bank Business Altitude Connect card. Do US Bank business cards report to your personal credit profile?
They do not.
Is the CP1VXB Mastercard or Visa?
Mastercard
Got the 75k sub for BPP. Jumped on the offer as soon as I found it.
Awesome, congrats!

Can I have these in the EU?

I feel like the ihg business card should be considered considering its base rewards of 3x plus additional rewards at 20k and 40k spend.
A good addition for those who stay at IHG properties!

How often can you apply for a business credit card ?
There aren't any rules in general across all banks. However, individual banks may have their own rules.
Question? Can I blindly change my Preferred card for this Business preferred?
Nope.

Reese, i have 6 inquires on my EX is this too much to apply for these cards?
Banks don't publish requirements about this, so I can't guarantee anything. Unlikely to be a problem with Amex, and potentially not for Chase.
Not if you are applying with Amex they will soft pull and use your Amex history and first hard pull for approvals.
Best biz cc with new biz (1 yr in biz)?
There isn't 1 best card, which is why I mentioned variety in the video.
