snow tires only do so much , snow chains help most for traction especially on the snowy hills of worcester .. i remember 1 year watching a sander truck slide backwards with a full load of sand and tipped over .....
I've plowed snow on street radials hundreds of times and never had a problem this has to do with him not keeping momentum just like the plow truck spinning but what do I know I only have 30+ yrs plowing in heavy Michigan snow and this has never happened to me even using radials which I have on my truck and I plow 180 miles of residential streets and 140 houses on those streets but also I wouldn't try pulling anything up hill or plow anything up a steep hill.

Don't they ever use wheel chains in these conditions. Growing up in Wales back in the 60s, we had chains for getting around in the snow in our hilly area.
few years back mass said : NO MORE SNOW CHAINS your ruining the roads : i wanna say 9 or 10 yrs ago , but ever so often i see firetrucks with chains on . stupid move of government to ban snow chains on everyday vehicles

I just watched your Elm Park video. Can’t find now. Wanted to make a comment tho. My grandpa was a welder-lived in Shrewsbury. He helped to make the bridge in Elm Park-the steep one with the “wheels” under it!!! The plans are in one of the posts and the names are under the bridge!!!! Graduated from Ayer High School near Ft Devens 1982. Anyways, the bridge was featured on a Worcester phone directory years ago!!!!
People in this neighborhood and area of the city know about this hill and it’s problems but yet winter after winter these drivers come unprepared to go up or down this hill. As the comedian Chris Rock says “that’s just plain Igg Nant”.
I can only say that with the intro music, and then the actions captured? If you said you never studied the style of Charlie Chaplin and the keystone cops that would surprise me. Entertaining, short and simple, and no one got hurt, well done. :)
That car had been sitting for awhile to have that amount of snow on it. So that wasn't an accident or being stuck. That was either a repossession or just a normal tow job. Why would anyone choose to do that on a day that bad?
It was like this roughly half this winter up in sweden. Difference is massive though, we have snow plows, graveled roads, salted roads and ACTUAL winter tires on 90% of our cars. the 10% that are left go digging for riches in the ditches. Over in this video, it's obviously not plowed, I doubt they have much/any gravel or salt to reduce ice buildup and provide grip, and they're DEFINITELY using either summer tires or "all year round" tires. If you've got winter tires on a prepared winter road, driving isn't all that different from driving in the summer - Just gotta be a bit more careful, lower speeds a notch or 3 depending on how cold it gets and be careful when driving in fresh snowfall or chilled rain as that's when shit gets slippery
Just stumbled across this! Too funny...I'm in NH and have actually purchased a car from Worcester! They were dumb to try and tow that during a storm, up hill no less. Sometimes it's best to wait for a plow and sand. Ooppss!
Why don't they plow and sand the hill? As a Finn, this seems rediculous. Here the hill would be clear of excess snow and a lot of sand on it... Here the plowing tractors start on the small roads almost instantly when a blizzard comes. Farmers earn extra money with their tractors this way during winter. Larger roads are handled with a big government owned trucks with huge plows and sanding equipment that disperses sand/salt mix that is adjustable to sand or salt or a mix of them to suit best for each road.
That's what they USED to do years ago. Now the City cries poor, and does little to prevent conditions like this in advance. There is also a shortage of contractors and plow drivers, as during previous years it would take forever to get paid. It's hard to get them back at this point, even with promises of better pay, especially if they think they will have to wait for months for their checks to arrive.
Because that costs money, and our governments are only interested in spending our money in places that take more of our rights and give them more power, while making themselves and their friends more wealthy..
As I stated yesterday, the Bermuda Triangle of Worcester Mass...I’m surprised no ones petitioned the town yet for grooving the asphalt for traction control. You hold all the evidence in these videos where it supports the case.Until then we sit back and watch the circus acts unfold.Thanks.
Like others have said. Keep another set of tires and wheels for winter use. Its a one time investment. Swap them out around NOV and again in the early spring. Also those wreckers have tires rated at 80 psi. let some air out if that helps.
Hope that tow company has really good insurance. Now everyone say it with me here. Tire chains. They work great on icy roads that aren't properly treated. Amateurs.
Now, that's a real bleep show! Your city shouldn't allow on street parking during the winter. There's possibly a real big ice storm going to west of us right now. This winter started slow, but I think it's going to get bad.
“He just lost the car, and he just hit the car.” It was narrated so calmly which made it that much more ballet like! Well done!
Thank You, We Do Our Best. Stay Safe Dizzy.

That car had been sitting for awhile to have that amount of snow on it. So that wasn't an accident or being stuck. That was either a repossession or just a normal tow job. Why would anyone choose to do that on a day that bad?
No, This was one storm one day, and they were towing because of Parking Ban.
Top notch material as per usual.
Thank You Nick, Be safe Dizzy.
I live in Australia so this is crazy to me. If I woke up and it was like this outside I’d stay at home, driving is deadly
We stay in, and Just watch the nuts come running. lol Be Safe Dizzy.
Ooppss!
Thanks for coming to our city, and If it snows , Please Stay home. lol. Dizzy.
I guess nobody remembers what tire chains are.
They will next time for sure. lol Be safe Dizzy.
When I was a kid back in the olden days my dad had metal studded tired for the winter and carried tire chains, sand and wooden boards in the trunk.
Very smart man, Be safe Dizzy.
Chains and salt are your friend...🤣
Not mine, I like to watch them fight the hill, Be safe Dizzy.
Thanks for the video...Greetings from Serbia !
👍👍👍👍🇫🇮
We have them here too were just too cheap to actually use them. Operating under extreme debt is just part of the american way.
Because they have to wait till it's alteast 2 inch of snow plowing anything under will chip up the asphalt more and creat more potholes
Because that costs money, and our governments are only interested in spending our money in places that take more of our rights and give them more power, while making themselves and their friends more wealthy..
Another great video love this snowy hill x
Thank You Sweet, It's a Hoot. Be safe Dizzy.
Shhhhh, Then My video's would stink. lol Cheers Dizzy.
So professional , make me laugh for half an hour.
I know Right!!! Stay Safe Out There. Dizzy.
Waited all year for this, can you do one tonight?
I put one up yesterday, No More snow, We Waiting For more snow, Be safe Dizzy.
Like others have said. Keep another set of tires and wheels for winter use. Its a one time investment. Swap them out around NOV and again in the early spring. Also those wreckers have tires rated at 80 psi. let some air out if that helps.
Some people do that, others we watch in the videos. Thanks stay safe Dizzy.
Hope that tow company has really good insurance. Now everyone say it with me here. Tire chains. They work great on icy roads that aren't properly treated. Amateurs.
I hope so , And Be safe My friend. Dizzy.
Love the chair being used to hold the shoveled out space. Best I ever saw here in Pittsburgh was someone who put a walker in their spot.
If you do the work of shoveling you get to lay claim on it.
Now, that's a real bleep show! Your city shouldn't allow on street parking during the winter. There's possibly a real big ice storm going to west of us right now. This winter started slow, but I think it's going to get bad.
You can park on one side, the rest get towed, We are Getting Rain, Be safe Dizzy.
Hey brother you Ive been waiting for these vids for a year glad to see them up. Take care and stay warm up there.
Thanks, you too Brother Scott, Stay Well Dizzy.
