    Indian all sarpanchs should follow this rui village sarpanch see how he is spreading awareness of sericulture farming to farmers and making them profits..... Sarpanch should tell yo farmers in their particular villages what they have to do cropping and how it will make them money....

    The price of the insect's lives seem like a necessary downside when you look at all the benefits of this. Farmers end up being the most oppressed and marginalized, even when their work is the most important. As the climate changes, they cannot grow the same things they used to be able to. I agree with Kalidas, that the most important thing is that everyone is able to live, work, and make enough to be able to sustain themselves, so they do not suicide because of not being able to make it.

      Don't you know how many sucking insects and cotton bollworms are killed in producing cotton 😅

      Silkworms are a very good low on the food chain insect, over 98% die before they make cocoons because of predation or disease. More of them survive when in sericulture than in the wild.
