ahhh man as UDK I feel you when you say sub rogues and feral druids are rough XD especially sub rogues are so hard to beat if they're good

Just came back to the game and I got full resilience yesterday. I'm Survival but I'm about to start getting my MM build all set up and I'm hoping not to confuse myself by doing that. I have the tinkers for Nitro and parachute also parachute is with deterrence which is great, I really like that. Been doing spider for web but I'll get the range of pets soon. been practicing strafe dps/cc and accurate trap placement. I really like it. Sub rogues have to work for it if they want to take a hunters node in Arathi Basin or take flag in WSG without a fight. Another thing, I think it was one of your older Cata videos from last year that got me thinking of doing Cata RBG in the first place. What I don't remember is if you prefer MM or Survival in RBG, assuming competency at both for sake of comparing.
MM all the way, for any kind of PvP is much better than Survival, Surv is the flagship PvE spec in Cata
@@MEYTRIX Ok I will definitely swap now. At least I'm used to Survival now in case I need to raid lol.
@@MEYTRIX I have been trying MM and the thing I struggle with is then long cast times. big long casts for Aimed Shot and two Steady Shots to keep up the Improved Steady Shot while kiting a rogue has got me messed up atm.
@@MEYTRIX Ok I know I'm rambling but I can see why MM is the one for pvp now. For me I would say, It's a higher skill ceiling but it's pretty cool.
@oybeutu Go Bm bro if you know how to play you will destroy any mm hunter in 1v1 I never lose on 1v1 against any mm hunt play whit entrapment improved for traps and whit spirit beast pet for heal or spider for 3 sec stun
You nailed it, im just curious how this cata classic show up with the balance in theese specs. I dont want to get rekted by Ferals and Sub rogues in Duels, 2v2 Arenas or Bg's... Once I remember feral druid opened my warrior, started to burst I used CC break, started to burst shit out of him, he used instant Cyclon proc on me, healed him self up to full, waited un til cyclon finish, again started to stack me with bleeds, instant cyclon proc again, so again, heal up, again proc cyclon heal up.. like... I was literally standing there between bleed and cyclon telling my self how could they allow this bullshit to be real thing in PVP. Not mentioning seeing one bear holding6 full epic geared players trying to kill him...
Sounds like the ultimate Cata experience 🫠

Yea enh is rly good for 1v1 too, it has big trouble against rogues for instance but has at least a 50:50 chance of beating most classes

Feral in the hands of an experienced player is so hard to beat 1v1. I used to watch Sodapoppin back in cata/mop beat everyone for hours. They definitely can take the most advantage from LOS and they just cannot be kited so annoying

Please make a video for best specs for BGs. I find that BGs have a lot more room for casters to shine than arena, and we will be having rated BGs, way more casuals will be playing that than arena.

As a paladin thats been looking forward to cata im pleased with nunber 3. At least from here on out we get some mobility. At least til Legion....

Wod is steroid Pal ..Even mob evrythink gives holy power u have jug slow and 45% almost always up cleanse for evry slow.. Funny thing is i started ret paladin bc i can.t be slowed roted in place. Then comes Legion. Did.t play it and the mobility jokes comes around...
Yo m8! Do you suggest darkmoon card or pvp proc trinket for 2nd trinket for human ret pala in cata P1? there is a lack of ret pvp content for cata besides you. So thanks!
Hey J, Darkmoon card isn’t very impressive and is super expensive (Tsunami is BiS for healers but the dps version is meh), so definitely go for the second pvp trinket instead

should be there instead of DK or ret. Probably ret because lowkey all rdps have at worst 50/50 chance against them.
@@Reality-Distortion arguable, I would say mage requires more skill than ret in 1v1 and so there’s not as many successful ones, but they could flip places, sure

Both are amazing, you wouldn’t go wrong with either one of them for all those PvP purposes

Hey Nettis, it is different for every expansion, I would have to do that specifically for WotLK then, but there’s videos like that already out there by other ppl, but idk what new server from Warmane you’re talking about, I don’t think they are doing anything like that

Depending on how big the map is too, hunters are much better with no pillars, ferals and rogues worse, but the list would probably still remain the same

At least in wrath I really struggled as a MM hunter vs a shadow priest. Feels like they just dot me up and I die during their disperse.
SP is undertuned on Cata, hardly ever even gets his DoTs up on a hunter
@@MEYTRIX I don't remember it this way I had an 80% duel win rate (still have it) after a couple 1000 duels as shadow priest.. but I have been wondering if it's going to be different now with everyones skill level being higher

solid option, you have many 50:50 fights, you lack a stronger defensive CD besides Shamanistic Rage, and struggle againsts things like rogues and ferals pretty hard
Yes, enhs are easyy top 5, or at least 6th place, from this top 5 they go even with mm hunts and ferals, udk counters them, hard against rogue but not hopeless and they DESTROY ret pala and all casters(mages, shadow priest, elementals, warlocks, balance) warriors, frost dks .. So easy top 5 in my opinion because only real problems are udk and sub rogue in 1v1

It’s ok for 1v1, you will struggle real hard with some classes but then you also have some solid matchups against other ones, not very good in 2v2 but good enough for more casual games, really good in 3v3 and amazing for BGs, and also great in PvE and welcome in any raid group
@@MEYTRIXAgreed. But 1-1 elem so weak vs sub/feral, some weak vs rpala/warrior. And normal vs low ms class and range classes. He so suck 1-1, but, my god, u like a boss on BG

You need to download the Classic versions of the addons via curseforge app
@@MEYTRIX yeah but they dont have the addons that we use you mean wrath classic yeah there might be but not for cata classic
I am talking about Cata Classic, and unfortunately - not all addons that are available on private servers will also be updated for Classic, the game runs on a different patch

@@MEYTRIX honestly though, you could be right ive only ever had a rogue and a ret get me low enough to proc will of necropolis 1v1 but almost all other rets and rogues i can almost ignore and lets be reals its not like its hard to counter a blood dk
Hunter is good, but it has high skill cap if i remember correctly.
It does, rogue and feral ard super high skill cap too, but all are S tier classes, not very good for beginners though

Fun is relative, it’s up to what playstyle you prefer, I have a lot of fun with fire mage, for instance - when I do a good Combustion combo on many targets, you can have fun killing people as MM hunter and feel like a sniper, just to name a few, so it’s up to you

How is dk against retri in 1v1 in cata?
Can be pretty even fight, lot depends on how each of the players plays the game, if there’s LoS and so on, I have some duel videos and also tactics for the matchup if you search for it on my channel

Rogues are so broken, is there a class that beat them? Or a class that counters rogues?
I wouldn't say anything counters them, but where rogues may struggle is against mage, hunter, feral, ret paladin
@@MEYTRIX Unfortunately, I was once a main rogue on Brazilian private servers on wotlk, but today because I play with 180ms on the official Blizzard servers, it is no longer viable. I prefer to play paladin, because I really like 1v1.

There is not 1 stronger than the other, they both have better and worse match-ups and are both super good

rogues also beat ferals pretty hardcore in 1v1s their kit is just too straight forward and counters ferals too easily
A feral who uses bear form correctly can beat rogues fine.
@@plasticbudgie maybe if you are versing noobs but even a average rogue can find it very easy to beat a feral without a challenge
@@Bennyy1020 I almost feel the scales are tipped in favor of feral assuming same skill level/gear. Especially if the druid can use los. The only time rogues are able to really get ahead is when the druid goes cat and gets stunned on it.
Faerie fire, Nature grasp, Bear form, Big Defensive Cd i dont know how a rogue can beat a feral easily lmao
@Bennyy1020 Not really, end expansion I agree, to be honest most rogue players are average or bad. It's the easiest class to pick up and play averagely, it's just high end gameplay it's harder if not the hardest I.E arenas.
1v1 is easily the most faceroll class to platy.
how warlocks feel 1v1?
they're ok, not the worst, destro is fun, I love dueling with it, affliction is good too, but there's classes like Unholy DKs, rogues, that will just zerg you like it's nothing, and you'll struggle against most better specs, but you still have a chance at beating them too

just about every actual pvp spec (not counting fury, combat etc) beats arms 1v1
in cata arms is in the worst place in pvp it has been until now (usually one of the best specs, now one of the worst)
arms is depressingly bad in 1v1 during cata. I think there's maybe just a handful of specs you can beat, maybe spriest and some warlocks but thats still a stretch, a good warlock is impossible to beat. Arms is at the bottom of the barrel this xpac, makes up for it being at the top during wotlk though :)
yea, just like the people above mentioned - arms is one of the worst specs you could play in 1v1, it gets a bit better in 2v2 and 3v3 if you have someone to heal you, but otherwise a frustrating experience trying to duel as warrior
@@MEYTRIX Matter of fact I think protection is probably your best bet for 1v1 as a warrior
It's subjective, but witch patch 4.3 in a11 human warrior wich Gurt+Fetish tailor+enginer can beat many classes. U just have so many damage and umust press ur opponent so hard.
But i'm agreed warrior so hard and can't win good rogue/feral/frost mage/MMhunt. But other class u can kill ;)
P.S hunt some hard on cata and u can kill 95% hunt's but this 5% pro they won't give you a chance 😂
