I still play the deck and it’s finally somewhat playable competitively. And it’s super fun to see your opponent’s face when they see you normal summon a Nordic monster.
I actually pull a nordic beast structure deck in one of the those mystery power boxes a few months ago and really interested in making a deck of it.
I ordered 3 booster boxes and my favorite will definitely be the dark magicians, hoping to pull that starlight. I barley came back to yugioh after 15+ years and this will be my 1st booster box I open. Always wanted one as a kid now finally gonna be able to live that moment, I’m hyped!
I bought 3 random packs at my geek store because I thought why not. Haven't opened a trading cards pack in a long time...
...I ended up pulling a Secret and STARLIGHT rare of Illusion of Chaos (£240 today prices).
UPDATE: I just bought another random pack and pulled the Starlight Rare, The Dark Magicians. Brb goin 2 Vegas.

Mad bro went to my local store today acheron, got 1 pack went home gave it to my mate to open and it was a secret illusion of chaos madness wanted dark magician but happy i could get my hands on that still, is it worth keeping him or reselling to get more packs couse for me that would be from 1 pack straight to 10
I'm really digging Blue-Eyes Jet Dragon, its a nice set of blue eyes support, that the deck REALLY needed.
The OG Dark Magician, it’s just nostalgic and for me the first structure deck I got as a kid was the Yugi structure deck.
I feel like my favorite card from Battle of Chaos would have to be Vampire Ghost or any of the Vamp support because since my return into the game I’ve been a big fan of zombies but more specifically the Vampire archetype, so it’s nice to see them get new support!
As someone who is getting back into Yugioh after years away its got to be Dark Magician, its just a classic 😁

Vampires, Blue-Eyes, Dark magician, DDD, this box has everything to boost up the meta of these type of decks. The Blue-Eyes Jet is the coolest of them all hands down

Master of chaos for me, the way they brought together DMoC with the other chaos monsters from the old days together in a great card is super cool.
I’m way too hyped to see that amazing OG Dark Magician art. Dark Magician was my first ever card and to get the Bandai art in the current TCG is way too cool. The support that Dark Magician and Blue Eyes are receiving in this set is absolutely insane. I also really enjoy how this set is sort of a throw back to Invasion Of Chaos (IOC) with chaos themed cards and strategies dealing with attributes. Illusion of Chaos, absolute unit, what a crazy addition to the Dark Magician deck. Blue Eyes Jet, blows my mind. Everything this set has to offer is straight 🔥🔥🔥
Listen man, you and team APS are the only Yugitubers I subscribed to. Reason because watching how you guys talk about nostalgic cards and try to make rogue, fun, decks playable because Yugioh is missing out on the back and forth which made it fun so I appreciate what you do Sam. As for my favorite card in the set, I'd have to give to to Blue Eyes Tyrant because the first time I saw him on screen I said I wanted that as a card. I wasn't expecting the card to be GOOD when it finally got printed.
Dark Magician is the one for me. Such an iconic card and can be very powerful if used correctly. I also play with a DM deck in Master Duel, the one you made a video on. Great deck!

Out of subject, I always take the max C challenge every time I see one and it's always a mistake, I won against twice, I know you said to pass it but I guess I like seeing decks at there full power even of I lose
I'm excited for Alice, the newest lady of lament. Lair of darkness is the only structure deck I've ever purchased and it's just fun to play imo. I look forward to more support for lair.
I hope that this year they give us an extra deck monster or another target for Alice

Honestly, I'm kinda excited for the timeaus dragon card. I'm waiting on a dragoon from someone and don't get me wrong I love red eyes black dragon, but I really love the concept of the ancient dragon knights as well and have them fight alongside the dark magician
Has to be the new art work for the dark magician. I love how it is still a chase card while being relatively easy to obtain and will definitely be an awesome collectible for the future!!
As a D/D fanboy. I’m actually hyped just for the field spell that they are releasing. Seems like a really fun gimmick that relies too much on a certain summon.
Gryphon and Machinex are probably top 5 post sd support D/D got, with only High Genghis and MAYBE Gilgamesh and High Caesar coming close. They solve 2 main problems of the deck (first being lack of good combo starters and extenders, second - sometimes awkward boardes when playing through distruption).
Field Spell is basically better Eternal Darkness (works with links, easier reqs and does sth else) and Headhunt is searchable Snatch Steal, which is cool.
Hope they add those soon to Master Duels.
got to love the new blue eyes jet dragon starlight card, the artwork is just insane and got to love the 3k attack :D great video once more. sucks its almost impossible to get yugioh here in Norway. costs me around 130-150 dollars for one booster box when i order on Ebay. so might not be able to open this set :( keep up the awesome work Sam and TSX1

My favorite card in this set is IceJade Kosmochlor because it looks so beautiful and I feel that it could be run in a good deck just like the other icejade monsters can be. I want to recognize the small archtypes.

The new Master of Chaos is definitely my favorite because I’m an old school/boomer Yu-Gi-Oh player who got his first pack back in 2002. I’ve been playing Master Dual and made a variation of your Dark Magician deck and it got me all the way to platinum. Thank you!
A Yugioh boomer here, last played in 2007. Hyped about Yugioh again thanks to Master Duel, and that eventually led me to this channel.
Watched the channels' vids to learn new yugioh strats - linked summoning, synchro summons, xyz, pendulum, and subbed cuz of the Pack opening vids ( or rather, pack sniffing ;) )
All that Nostalgia led to buying physical TCG booster packs (Ghosts from the past) again, and boy did the nostalgia hit hard.
Psyched about Dictator of D. , as the recent blue eyes decks have been amazing to play in Master Duel, and more blue eyes support would be cool.
Partially biased too as I used to play the super old school Dragon deck. (Lord of D + flute of summoning Dragon into blue eyes / future fusion dragon mirror FGD) , and the card art reminds me of Lord of D.
The new fusion card for blue-eyes cards is probably one of the coolest cards ive seen in a minute. DM got their fusion. Red-eyes has theirs. Blue-eyes had it comin

Even though I don’t play Blue-Eyes anymore, the effect on the jet is kinda wild. Blue-Eyes support always get funkier.

Magikuriboh is my favorite card design in the set! He is basically Kuriboh cosplaying Dark Magician! Both best Yugi´s buddies!

Love the Master of Chaos. Was always a big fan of the Black Luster Soldier and the fusions for it. Glad to see yet another badass card for the archetype
Vampire Ghost. I love the vampire archetype, and I feel that card is gonna help the deck more than the other 2 vampire support cards this set

My favourite card out of Battle of Chaos would have to Illusion of Chaos, one the best and most broken support needed for Dark Magician to push the deck higher in the tier ranks. With the ability to search any monster that lists Dark Magician in its text is insane, can search Rod, Souls, Apprentice, and the new Timaeus Dragon from Battle of Chaos.
Dinomorphia is 100% the most exciting part of this set for me. Not only do they look awesome, but they're a trap oriented archetype, which is a nice bit of variety. I'm super excited to try them out with the Solemn cards because of Stealthbergia's effect and my favorite card from this set is: Dinomorphia Stealthbergia! I really like when cards adds a new perspective to existing cards, and honestly the LP cost of the Solemn trap cards actually looks like a huge benefit in a Dinomorphia deck.

Illusion of Chaos is definitely my favorite. Not only is it busted, but the art work is great and the fact it's Dark Magician support makes it automatically great for me.
My favourite BOC pull is easily Timaeus, The United Dragon.
Not for the DM support, but simply for the love of it's artwork and nostalgia.
I hope Critias gets the same treatment for Blue-Eyes support and Hermos for Red-Eyes.

As a returning player I have been waiting for a chance to pull some good Dark Magician support from a booster box! We got some Magician’s Souls in BoL but now we have so many more options! Such an awesome box, really looking forward to getting my hands on one of these
Blue-Eyes Withe Dragon absolutely is my favourite card. It was my first yu gi oh card from the Kaiba starter deck 19 years ago! *.* It seriously turn me into a child! So all the Blue-Eyes cards in this box are my favourites.

Really like the Master of Chaos and the Guardian Chimera. The Guardian Chimera comes as an ultra, ultimate, secret, starlight and holographic in the OCG.
I'm super hyped for the vampire support but especially the starlight zombie vampire, that card is sick!!

Favorite card from the set has to be Swordsoul Sinister Sovereign - Qixing Longyuan its effect is pretty insane. Plus I think the draw effect will help a bit with the consistency of the deck after losing 2 pot of desire this banlist which I'm sad about.
