Pulled my AT out yesterday (it was beside my VFR - kindred tastes?) and at 72 years old, began another season of riding. Oh yes, says I . . . now I breathe again.
The warm feeling of getting back to the those roads in the Pico's we love so much! and seeing them at a different time of year is always a bonus.

You know what, as you talked it generated in me the EXACT feelings I get when I’m alone on my favourite roads. You have such an exceptional ability to get emotions over in your videos and I thank you. ‘ it makes you feel alive’….dare I say it makes you feel completely happy in every way. I get the feeling, it’s pure and magical. Thing is, only the nicest, kindest people could relay like you do;I really enjoyed this episode, it was ‘at one’ with the world, with total content. Good Gravy! Richy, this was Another Epic Winter Trip! 😱😮 First a 30+ hour Marathon ride, England to the Tip of Spain. Then how many days in Morocco, including the Sahara desert? 🤔 Then a solitary journey in the off-season back through the mountains of Spain to a ferry trip home! 🎉👏🎊🎈🫡 I salute You!

Yet another enjoyable watch. What a coincidence, I stayed at the Salamanca Ibis on my trip to Morocco last year and in Toledo on the return, Sadly I didn't get into the city. I did think it would be worth a return visit. Looking forward to whatever you've got coming next. 👍
Heading up to Potes in 3 weeks, hope it's just a wee bit warmer. Roads are normally still pretty quiet in May but won't be like you got them. Can't wait 😍

I was with the bear last week , snow still in the shadows but mid 20s °C. On my way home meandering down to Moraira. Great series of vids , lived in the middle east for several years and this made me think I should return to north Africa at some point as Alicante ferry is just down the road.

After having watched your videos and having met you at the Infantado I love the Picos,hoping to return there next year with our Stuart and possibly depending on time of the year my granddaughter as pillion (she loves getting out on the bike with her dad)

Mr V, don’t suppose you’ve got a link to the tracks you rode ? I’m going again in September and staying at the Hotel Del Oso.I know the track from Espinama to Sotres but not the others, especially the ones features on Mr Fish’s video on his AT. Ta muchly 👍🏻

amazes me where people go thought the day. We rode close to the Douro river last year and spent literally hours without seeing a sole. Just amazing compared to the rat race back home .
Hi Richy, I was looking at getting a Zumo XT as my Nav 6 does my head in. That feature where you brought up the weather, was that the predicted weather for your current position or for your planned route?

If you're using a mediamod you should take it off when it's raining as the rain gets in thro' the front facing mic as well as the socket, that's why the cut out. Gopro * upwards are waterproof and can be used without the m/ mod.
Na. I always have the MM on. And have been out many many times in torrential rain. MM is fine in the wet. Was a memory card issue I think. 👍
You must be the only one I know that hasn't had the problem Richy, even Gopro advise against it 🤔
Really? Obv you can’t submerge it with MM on, but it’s absolutely fine in the (heavy) rain..

Hotel del Oso. Cosgaya. Lovely hotel run by 3 sisters. Very comfy, and food is superb. Have used it for the last 15 years. Only downside is its about 8 miles outside Potes and Cosgaya is quiet.
Lovely restaurant/food and bar also has a pool
