hey man, how long did it take for your's to come in from the time you ordered it? thinking about getting one myself! local dealer has plenty of gen 1s, but i want to hold out for the better board. heard it's gonna take months to get one though.
ha! cray. we'll probably get them same day? i'm thinking early June. where are you located? i'm in Dallas. OneWheel customer service guy told me this: "If you were to order yourself the new Onewheel+ today (April 25th), it would ship at the end of May into early June. The board is faster, super powerful, and more awesome than ever before! It's the ultimate riding machine. The ride is worth the wait!"
I bought the original and was so curious how they made it better. I mean alittle more speed sounds okayyy. But the original still goes deadly fast. Any faster seems fun and all but also pply unnecessary. I lile curving cus I find it fun to weave in and out objects. Signs...sidewalks....cars...ect
I've never skateboarded or surfed period, I'm 70 but love the technology, should I give this product a try or is it suicidal? Please be honest. Thanx for a great vid...
Hi Carter! Depends... Have you rode any other board sports before? Are you fairly athletic? My mom jumped on it at 70 and rode all around a ball field no problem. Read the OneWheel Wiki to get more info.
Yeah, we kind of figured that was a given as it was something you could see by looking at the board. Something people knew already... At the time of this video (less than 25 boards were out there) I think people were most curious about how it felt to have pads that ramped up in shape. We wanted to make it clear that it didn't make much of a difference. Now that I have 150 miles on my plus I still feel that way. Nice to have but hardly a difference you can really feel. After all these miles the thing I like the most about the plus is very little pushback and smooth quiet speed. If the V1 had that I wouldn't even need a plus. I ended up keeping my V1 and I don't think I'll sell it at this point. Love different things about both boards. V1 has better range and has a more nimble carving ability. The plus has a tigher suspention and is more stable at high speeds. My opinion but none the less if you can own both I recommend it.
Creative Works, Inc. what is the v1, I am looking for a electric transportation of some sort and so far I like the onewheel, looking for more options, would like to know your advice
@@haydenwestbrook7841 Oh I know, Ive been riding for like 3 hours every day around my neighborhood, charging up every so often. I'm planning on replacing the back footpad for a Kush Hi too
@@haydenwestbrook7841 Totally worth it! Im 14, so 400 bucks for any kind of onewheel sounds fine to me! I have already put 200 miles on it. I ride in extreme mode, I have gotten to 23 mph, almost nosedived, so I'm averaging at 17 18 mph for my comfort. Pushback is there, you can barely feel it, but it is there at around 13mph. It kind of stays with you anywhere above 13 to 19, but It is barely noticeable, the nose is tilted maybe a quarter of a cm high. So basically no pushback at all. The pushback that is there though goes away after you go faster than 19, but personally, I only went faster to get a top speed on the app.

Still can't believe that they sell this without a fender. Just a matter of time before someone cracks their head open from getting a pant leg sucked in by the wheel. Such a low cost part and it would increase safety a ton. Lawsuit waiting to happen.
Thanks for the helpful review! I can't tell from the video, but is that the gloss or matte finish on your fender? I'm getting ready to order one myself.
yes, if you are someone who is willing to sacrifice performance for price. If you can afford a plus or an XR you are better off I think because you will want one eventually anyway. Also, remember the price of the board is not what you pay. Its the price of the board minus what you sell it for when you are done with it and or need to upgrade. Hope that helps!
Hi guys, so to order the one plus takes up to six weeks to get it, but I found a one wheel first gereration for $1200 should I get that or wait to get the plus one. Any advice appreciated
I don't think he has a number you can call. Find Jon Rambo on Facebook. Or jump on the Facebook group OneWheel Owners group and ask :-) Hope that helps!
Who's here 2021?
Lmao only me?
Been riding xr for 7 months now... 4600 miles later🤙🏽in love💕
Great vid, good speaking voices. Great chemistry between speakers. Very informative. I'm so close to joining the 1wheel club.
Just picked mine up yesterday loving it thanks for the vid.
Great info in this vid. Thanks guys!
Nicely done Michael!
Good vid. Just got my Onewheel plus in the mail today.

I Pre ordered it when it was first announced. It took 3 months. If you order one now, it will take about a month or so. Worth the wait
awesome. Thanks for the feedback! pre-order is in... (#11,128!)
Congrats, I'm order 11127!

How does one fill it with air? And what do you do if it pops?
Great review!
Definitely a good video
Definitely.
funny fact i bought a one wheel 2 mounth ago and now they got a new one out!!
they announced the new one back in December. pre-orders were taken on jan 6th.

as long as you can jump, you'll be fine.
Suicidal
Where can I get the magnetic fender? Can you send me the link? 😊 thank you
I preordered in first 48 hours still waiting on my board
the shape of the footpads isn't the point guys, its the new pressure plates that cover the whole pad not the shape

cool review. where can i get the magnetic fender and side handle?
You can find both of the guys who make them on the OneWheel forum. Names on forum are @thegreck (handle) and @Njcustom (fender)
thank you!
I just bought a V1 onewheel for only 400 bucks with 30 miles on it. Was that a good deal?
the onewheel v1 is still a great board that was a great deal

@@cryo3215 was it worth it? only thing i’ve heard is the pushback is annoying but in extreme mode it’s not bad?

Are the specs the same for both for example the mph and range??
perfect, where can I get these nice sidehelds, carrying handle?

Would surf wheel be a good cheap alternative, I'm 13 so that's why I was looking for a alternative option
Hey, I don't know if you mentioned it, but how is the range? Is it as advertised it can it go longer? I weigh about 45kg(100lb)

are the bearings the same?? im about to be replacing some things and idk if i should be Xr , or original, specific.
anyone ever got a flat? is it even possible to puncture?
Why not make reference to which one is the plus? Not so obvious.
When did you order your one wheel+? I'm just anxious to receive mine even though I preordered it a couple of weeks ago.
kevin li I too am anxious to receive mine, it will most likely come in April. That's what it said on the website anyway. Have a great day!
Is buying a onewheel V1 worth it for the lower price at this point?
yes, if you are someone who is willing to sacrifice performance for price. If you can afford a plus or an XR you are better off I think because you will want one eventually anyway. Also, remember the price of the board is not what you pay. Its the price of the board minus what you sell it for when you are done with it and or need to upgrade. Hope that helps!
Hey, would you recommend paying extra for the plus?
Yes. Worth it if you want to go faster and smoother. They are both amazing though...
Hi guys, so to order the one plus takes up to six weeks to get it, but I found a one wheel first gereration for $1200 should I get that or wait to get the plus one.

Get the first gen! $1200 is a good price for a new one. Used try to pay around 900. Don't pay more than a thousand for a used V1.
Creative Works, Inc. Do you guys find the first one better?
how far will the plus go per charge vs original?
Parindra same roughly
Off road the plus eats up juice. About 25% faster. On pavement about 10% faster. Think of like turbo uses more gas in a car.
Can you provide a contact info for a magnetic fender?
I don't think he has a number you can call. Find Jon Rambo on Facebook. Or jump on the Facebook group OneWheel Owners group and ask :-) Hope that helps!
where can i get one of those fenders?
Jon Rambo on Facebook for a removable fender or OneWheel.com for the Future Motion one.
is there a weight difference? I have an off brand onewheel (Trotter) and it's a bit over 30 lbs. I'm interested in getting the new +.
Not much. Plus weighs a pound more. 25 pounds
what is "heighth"
Do you find that that missing strip of grip tape on the back makes a difference at all?
No, you don't need it. The + does better with a wider stance anyway, you'll be good.
how much
1500.
It goes through batter faster cause you had the lights on, on the plus and you didn't on the v1
acl...RIP
Well don't show riding them what ever you do.
