It's Worse Than I Thought

I have lipedema. I’ve decided the best next step to manage my condition - lipedema - is to pursue surgery. It wasn’t an easy decision, but ultimately it’s the right one. Lipedema is not easy to deal with, and it comes with a lot of pain. I’m hurting and It’s hard. I saw multiple lipedema doctors to come up with a treatment plan including surgeries. I also saw a mobility specialist to have my range of mobility assessed and to document how lipedema affects my mobility. This was harder than I anticipated, both mentally and physically. I am taking you all along on this process to hopefully help others on this journey to better understand the process.
