I've got so many fond memories from the first 3 Tenchu games playing them as a kid. This is a series I would love to come back to next gen. Best ninja games ever made.
They'll have to summon the crew that created Part 1 to restore that old spirit this game had then. The WTF ever happened to the progression of this story needs to be erased so this title can be revived. I too would love to see a new direction for this game, and would truly love to play it again! I mean they should dammit! It would SMASH that ghost of Tsushima BS! I could just imagine it becoming something like GTA5 but everybody is a NINJA instead of what is being glamorized in that game. Which is cool, but still wouldn't be shit compared to an online NINJA Game! But that would fuck up the whole story to, so fuk that.
I really hope so. It's too good of an IP to shelf for over 10 yrs. If they could flesh out what they already have for next gens, it would be incredible.
There are rumors that "From Software" is waiting for Sony's okay, to make a new Tenchu Game. If everything goes well, they Start development in december.
New characters might be a bad idea to me, Without Rikimaru or Ayame the new Tenchu game is just a new Ninja game, no more Tenchu, but if they make the character we gonna play the same as Tenchu Z , it's ok because you can customize your character and make it looks like a new character.. (R.I.P my English )

i like tenchu 2. Besides there is a map editor, the atmosphere was so quite no bgm (execpt in boss battle) just sound effect of nature and spotted sound. In Tenchu EU version they changed the shuriken into a kunai, censorship too so we can't dismember enemy's body part
Fatal Shadows also took away decaps but the game was so hard you needed to hide the bodies to avoid screwing up the guards patrol patterns and possibly ruining Double Kill setups. And it added Rin's brutal xray moves so it's a good tradeoff
I honestly find it incredibly hard to believe Tenchu 1 was made in 1998. It looks like an indie game dev was trying really hard to make a modern game look like a PS1 game and failing horribly because of the features the game offers, the combat, and flawless animations better than that of some games made today.
Back in 2003-04, We couldn't afford PS2 at the time, so we still play PS1. My uncle had this magazine featuring PS2 games and I saw Tenchu Wrath of Heaven. I was so intrigued by it's design and concept and asked my big bro. "Did PS1 have Tenchu?" We searched the internet and found out Stealth Assassins. We immediately bought this 3 in 1 disc(Soul of Samurai, Tenchu SA, and Ninja Shadow of Darkness) and tried it. I remember how I was so amazed on how much you can do with its stealth mechanics, items and combat for a PS1 game(I already have an idea that time how PS2 games are played). Tenchu became one of my all time favorite. Onikage's my favorite. I remember how we shit ourselves finding out Suzaku and Onikage were one lol, imagine that happened in social media era. Soul of Samurai was amazing as well!

I just watched all the cutscenes for that game recently, I never played it, but it's like they just altered the story and used the same maps from Wrath Of Heaven from what I can tell.
I liked shadow assassin's as well because it reminds me of the movie Ninja Assassin's how they literally disappear into the shadows. I also like how you can choose your finishing move. I had the psp version and rarely took it out of my psp.
Ahhh Tenchu Shadow Assassins. The biggest middle finger to anyone that gave a crap about the Tenchu story. The BETRAYAL of the entire series. The Ultima 9 of Tenchu Sorry that story pissed me off

El gameplay lo cambiaron del todo al adaptarlo a la Wii y la versión de PSP al derivar de un juego de Wii quedó con un gameplay similar, y era muy farragoso. Aparte, la historia era muy fea con Rikimaru matando a la princesa Kiku, con lo honorable que había sido siempre. Tenchu z was the best because you could move the fastest of all tenchu titles. Badger dash plus feet 3 had you moving like an actual ninja. Tenchu 2 had the map editor though.

I say this because within the timeline they forget a lot of what was in the original timeline all together and even though you are correct i'd say the timeline splits after WoH where Onikage dies again and talks to lord Mei-oh about their upcoming plain that we never hear of again.

Shinobido Way of the Ninja basically its a clone from Tenchu, but a better version from what I can tell, the vibe and experience from Shinobido Way of the Ninja it's so unique and underrated, in my opinion it's the best Ninja game ever that was creat it, for me personally in Shinobido I feel more like a true ninja, because I can go and play and choose much more type of missions, and your actions are more versatile unlike in Tenchu games where your actions are too liniar and simple, In Shinobido you have more freedom in your actions of the story and the gameplay aspects, the Concept of the fact that you can choose so many diverse type of missions and you can extend your way of playing in almost every sense, that's what makes Shinobido In my eyes a much better choice than Tenchu, I don't say that Tenchu is so bad, actually I have all the games of the series, but from my experience on both games, Shinobido will offer a more unique feeling, also try and listen some Soundtracks of Shinobido, the vibe of these soundtracks are so divine, all I can say its that I feel more like a true ninja when I play Shinobido, than when I play Tenchu... I hope you understand my point of view☯️

@@ahabrawgaming1289 Nar, Wrath is the best Tenchu game, just in terms that its much more fleshed out and picks up to where they left off, banishing Lord Mei-Oh thought not to say the earlier Tenchu's were bad for if we didn't get those we wouldn't hjave the greatest Tenchu game ever made and that is Wrath of Heaven. But hey, maybe if we make enough noise even after Tenchu is long gone we might see a remake of the series.

Rin is the most fun character to play. Unique grappling style + some of the most brutal stealth kills.

Shinobido Way of the Ninja basically its a clone from Tenchu, but a better version from what I can tell, the vibe and experience from Shinobido Way of the Ninja it's so unique and underrated, in my opinion it's the best Ninja game ever that was creat it, for me personally in Shinobido I feel more like a true ninja, because I can go and play and choose much more type of missions, and your actions are more versatile unlike in Tenchu games where your actions are too liniar and simple, In Shinobido you have more freedom in your actions of the story and the gameplay aspects, the Concept of the fact that you can choose so many diverse type of missions and you can extend your way of playing in almost every sense, that's what makes Shinobido In my eyes a much better choice than Tenchu, I don't say that Tenchu is so bad, actually I have all the games of the series, but from my experience on both games, Shinobido will offer a more unique feeling, also try and listen some Soundtracks of Shinobido, the vibe of these soundtracks are so divine, all I can say its that I feel more like a true ninja when I play Shinobido, than when I play Tenchu... I hope you understand my point of view☯️
You’re so weird and uneducated, the same people who made tenchu made shinobido, so of course it’s similar. It all comes down to personal preference in the end but when I went to click on a shinobido video and you were there in the comments, it felt a bit obsessive to continuously call tenchu the inferior game in multiple comment sections when it all comes down to nostalgia for people. wether or not they care if the opposing game is better. Also how many accounts do you have posting the same thing over and over? This is creepy man

@@ahabrawgaming1289 Nar, Wrath is the best Tenchu game, just in terms that its much more fleshed out and picks up to where they left off, banishing Lord Mei-Oh thought not to say the earlier Tenchu's were bad for if we didn't get those we wouldn't hjave the greatest Tenchu game ever made and that is Wrath of Heaven.
But hey, maybe if we make enough noise even after Tenchu is long gone we might see a remake of the series.
