How do you tell the difference between a wolf and a coyote? I assume the wolf is larger?? Thanks.

I hunted the Fla everglades on bear Island lots of times when I lived in Bonita Springs, Fla. Hogs and Deer were what people hunted for that was long before they had the problem with pythons. Black bear would see you and run when i first started hunting there. Peopl going there and putting up a tent for a weekend hunt were careless leaving food outside tents and bears over time lost fear of people. I hunted alone most of the time and sometimes from a tree with a portable climbing stand. 1 time I was woth a hunting budy I was hunting from a tree and he was hunting on the ground. He came to check on me after he saw a large black bear tracking me to make sure I was Okay. The bear never got close enough that I could see it. Just an example what happens when they lose their fear and see people as a free meal with left out snacks and discarded food. Same with the alligators and peoplte feeding them. If i was you I would not go out running the woods without a gun with me. When I lived in Fla the game warden told us if we shoot a bear we better have teeth marks or claw marks to show killing the bear was for our protection. Back than they had lots of bears and illegal to shoot one. No bear hunting season.
