It’s good that you’ve had this realisation at a young age.. when most people have this realisation in the later years.. this means you will be able to explore the experiences to a greater degree.. and grow massively as a result..
I ran my first 100km back in may and haven’t done much since I stumbled across your channel and you have given me the energy and inspiration I need to enter another one
Wow, incredible insights! You have a future in documentaries etc! My answer is usually that i want to live a life full of experiences i can look at and be proud of, and say "I did that!" I don't want to plod along doing the "expected", then die. I'm not elite, I'm not famous, nor will i ever be. I do this for me, for my family, my friends, to show them they can still live incredible, exciting lives, even as perfectly normal, "average" people.
Such a powerful message, I absolutely love this video... I watched it (and cried) twice. I discovered your channel whilst looking for TdH videos, I saw that you also ran it and I think I remember seeing you on the road section on the way out to Boredale Hause. That was definitely quite a day out on the ice! Anyways, thank you for documenting your journey and sharing it with us all!
What an amazing video! I can't say enough how much I echo your thoughts. We were given this amazing body that can do so many amazing things and most people are more than happy to just watch TV with it. I don't get it and I never will. One of my main goals in life is when the end comes knocking (as it will for us all) I want to look back and know I did all I could:) I refuse to look back on a life being overweight, eating chips, watching TV, all while feeling like crap.

Thanks Tom, I feel grateful to be having so.
