I will try when I get home I was thinking it's ganna be hard finally a youtuber that doesn't stretch an 2 minute video into 10 min
Thank you so much, I thought this was normal but I searched it up anyway thinking I’ll just find tutorials for messed up motors and stuff but this is exactly what I was looking for
Exactly the sound I was hearing! I played around with both sides of the break… A little push and pull fine combinations of you loosen tightness on either end - and it all sounds nice and clear now! This is my first scooter, it’s awesome to see that the way it’s built is basically the same across brands so I don’t have to worry about some unusual issue/fix!
easy to understand so helpful thankyou very much i was worried ill be needing to go to a shop and pay for service
This actually helped a lot thank you
The most helpful 2 minute video that actually explains this topic :)
bro I went to 2 e scooter maintaince and they did not know what is wrong. this guy just made my day 😊
Didnt know about the back bolt at all.. Thank you! Had to tighten it fully cus if I play with it and the other bolts I can get them to a point where no sound is being made but for some reason the brake becomes weaker (I tightened the brakes at 100%). If I tighten the back bolt 100% then both braking and the lack of sound are excellent.
Great job this video was very useful 🥂
Thank you so much!
Great vid. Very informative. I just wish Segway didn’t send me a brake rotor that’s soooooo bent…!!
Thanks brotha the first method worked
thank you, amazing tip
Help a lot thanks
Thank you very much. Its help
Thank you very much man. I just bought one and this is the issue. I love the scooter. The sucker goes 25 mph. Holy crap. Bought it for 14o bucks brand new. I think the lady gave me the wrong one.
25?? what brand
Thank you so much!!
Obviously, this technology is somewhat new to the public. We have to learn what to do, just being a guy does not mean you know. Thanks for being a part of the education of scooters people.
Thank you so much I fell off my scooter and it bent the plate and I just used the first time and moved it around some and wala like I never even fell.
Thanks Bro :)
Fixed it ❤ was Soo easy and still had to look at it up 😂
hello I have an ocean drive x9, what size disk should I put? thanks for your reply
Thank you!👏🏻
Thank u so much 🙏🏻
thank you so much
The second method works perfect
Does it damaged it ? Because l don't know where to get my long alen keys
Would this work in a loud stuttering sound that only happens pushing the throttle?
Unfortunately with my Ducati it still has that grinding noise
Any other way to fix it ??
I'm having this issue but on the front tire. Hopefully this does the trick. This is my first scooter woth disc breaks amd a caliper set up so I'm lost 😂
Yeah but when I finally get it right and take it out for a test ride the rubbing comes back after a few times braking..I'll try this method I hope it works for me
I did this and I figured out that it wasn’t only my disk break rubbing against the wheel, the washer on the back screw was doing it also, I was able to align the disk break to where it’s not doing it any more but now the washer under the back screw keeps doing it
Only problem is; when I do this...the noise goes away...but then the caliper brake is so loose. Barely can come to a stop. Looks like I have to choose between bad braking or noisy/uneven wearing braking. Well, I guess technically it's uneven braking even without the sound (since mine is still crooked since the braking itself is uneven).
Same here, I just changed my pads and they were good for the 1st 30miles but I had to change the position and have them scraping just a lil bit 2get a good stopping force. 😉😌
welp sounds like you guys need new brake pads, whne their worn out, they take alot of distance to have significant braking, new one are quiet, and with a little press, their fully ingaged
I try to do this but they are too tight ?
Unscrew the caliper squeeze the brakes then tighten that aligns the caliper to the disc then redo until silent also buy brake cleaner clean the pads and disc and do not touch them with bare hands as the oil from hands and sweat contaminates the pads and discs
So this doesn't mean ? I need yo chabge disc brak pads?
Does this work in the front brake for X9? I just got mine and it has a slight noise on the front wheel.
The same problem. Disc brakes very noisy on it
@@user-kf5um2pn6f sorunu çözebildin mi?
Why do i hear squealing when i brake? I already cleaned my brake pads but i still hear it whenever i use rear brake.
Usually sanding the brake pads down a little should stop it
What about the front one 🤔?
I have a problem with the p4 not showing up, can you help?
Not all our X9 are adjustable, if you can not access the P4 according to the video, that means your X9 is non-adjustable, we OEM for many brands, some of them just blocked the max speed setting to meet local street laws, could get a variable speed kit to release the max speed: hxescooter.com/product/hx-x9-release-speed-kit/
Ok how do i tell if my breaks have gone bad cause my brake works but it it barely works if that makes sense
check the brake status while braking, see if you need a pair of brake pads or the disc or the caliper
Is this will work on segway gt2?
yes
What break disk size, cuz it looks my bend
120mm, that is for demo
This happened to me when I’m normally riding when I’m going I hear screeches
Will it break the disc if I don't fix it
No it will make the scooter slower
thank you so much
