- The Tempo, Tenor and Soprano join the Bose's existing Alto and Rondo Frames. The new models all cost $250 or $50 more than the original Frames but have better sound and battery life.

Not enough people do reviews in an echo chamber, this is refreshing.

I ended it up buying both the Tempo for running and the Tenor for casual use. Love them both. Money well spent. (And I am younger than 40 and the sound is very good, to contradict a few reviewers here...)
Is tempo better in terms of sound?
@@t.terrell7037 yes, it is
Wild. I can't wait to see where we will be with this tech 5 years from now. As someone who likes to be active but also aware of my surroundings, this seems to be a great product.
It'll be these plus like that google glass type screen in the thing. And lasers like superman lol
My friends dad works on he software for these. I remember him talking about how good they were and I could barely believe him until I tried them.
Curious if Bose knows how often they break- can’t find much online about it but I’ve replaced mine under warranty every 4-5 months since 2019. Will try to switch to the tempo and hope they’re more solid.
Was excited to buy these and went to try them out. After trying on all the models looking for the least pronounced profile, ended up leaving with none. ☹️ They sound awesome but aren’t really made for people with smaller heads. Slippery plastic was bad enough, but add some sweat and these end up on the ground. Ended up buying the noise cancelling earbuds instead and even tho they’re a little bulky, they are sooo comfortable and sound is fab!
FRAMINGHAM, MA. Love seeing that
Great review. I have the original model. Since I haven’t gone many places, I haven’t used them enough to upgrade. I use these when my hair’s wet since I can’t wear over-the-head Bose during that time. I also use grip hooks since the first model didn’t fit.
If I used public transit and walked a lot to locations I would definitely go for these. I do way too much driving to enjoy and use these fully.
Thanks for the Review !
Good review. I think the tempo will be very successfull. Bose has improved battery life and sound quality and they look good.
Got my pair of Tempo frames for a birthday gift! 🥳
Impressive!?
Great review! I bought some today!
Waaaaay too chunky frames, look worse than first gen in that respect
They’re surprisingly quite light, but they do look and feel pretty silly.
yeah, u got it right bud. i was holding back from buying them from the first gen cuz they were too bulky, and i was hoping for the next gen gonna more fits... ahhh never mind, i guess i will wait for the 3rd gen.

SecretOfMonkeyIsland we just have to wait for technology to get better
I agree, but why hide our cyborg augments?
😀
I'm a mailman i can see myself wearing the tempos. I can listen to music and be aware of my surroundings, but not for $250 I'll pass.
Earbuds have transparency mode
@@renzoriga6136 good glasses cost way more than that
It wouldn’t hurt to save for one though.
You can get a refurbished one for $99
I'm a mailman and I just got some. Love them so far.
Excellent! I’m buying the Tempo 👍
Awesome review!! All I need to know!!
Curious for a more in depth review for soprano frames...... Maybe better sound and ambient noise cancellation for calls in the next version? 3.0
I like the speaker sound, and its better than in earphones. But mine broke twice, don't know why It's stop charging.
Same here, I have alto and rondo both of them stop charging too, 3 month after I buy that
I bought the first alto in 2019 and they’ve sent me a new pair every 4-5 months since then… will switch to tempo and see if they’re any better!
I don’t really update and why you wouldn’t just wear regular sunglasses and earbuds. What do you do with these when the sun goes away or you walk into a building?
Honestly I couldnt think of any other usage other than outdoor activities in the open and daylight, which is niche, but niche enough for me. In ear buds always are falling out with a bit of sweat and over the ear headphone are heavy enough to be waddling off your head, so these are pretty cool and you can hear people better with this than transparency mode.
I ordered the Tenor, I also have the Alto that Im going to return. The Alto glasses are good but sounds like something is missing.
Considering the fact that a pair of polarized wayfarers are $200, $250 is not bad for a knock of version of them with build in speakers.
Yeah my -9 and -8 prescription lens aren't fitting in these, good concept though
Could answer/decline calls by voice only? Anyone knows how these perform in a motorcycle helmet. Audio quality and mic wind noise filter.
I’m seeing some say that the originals broke even with careful handling. I don’t doubt it, but would like to say that mine have remained good. The only negative was that people would talk to me and I’d have to ask them to repeat that.
So, how loud is it for others? Can they here what I am playing say 5 feet away?
I have them. I love them. Worth the money.
I hope they are robust cause the Alto was not. Went thru 2 pairs of the Altos's. Both lasted just over a year. The first pair the leg broke off quite easily. Bose kindly replaced it for free. I took extreme care of the second pair and then suddenly it failed to take a charge. I called Bose to see if they could make it right however they wanted me to pay $149 or so. I declined their offer. Simply not worth it if they won't last. I really liked the glasses. Great idea, great sound but again they don't last.
Very useful, thank you!
How can I stop the sound from everyone around me hearing?
I have the first gen ones and they easily break. I babied mine for months and when I tried to take it off my face one time, the hinge on the arms broke. Unless the durability of these became better then these glasses are a no go.
I just want this for work
The alto has a design problem, changed it twice already
The frames doesn’t work with the legs are extended
Best roundup of this product. Many Thanks I opted for the Tempo.
These are like the ultimate Father's Day sunglasses lol
Yet cheaper than Ray Bans 👍🏻🙌🏼
I have the original Frames (Alto) but I'm ready to upgrade to the Tenor.
great video!!! :)
but why?
Anyone that works inside loaders recommend these or does the environmental noise overpower the sound of the audio?
Like a car wash loader?
@@andrebaudoind A bobcat loader. But I got a pair of AirPods that have noise cancellation.
I'm waiting for the Elton John edition.
The Rondo is almost there!
Why not...😂
The Tempo look hilarious when wearing 😂
I found them tinny with little bass and barely enough volume. For the price, I passed and returned them back to Bose.
Doesn't say anywhere that Aftershokz makes "a pair of audio sunglasses". Lies.
My head is too big. I break normal glasses frames. Sad to see these won't fit.
Hello Sir!
I am looking for Panasonic SA-AK47 or SA-AK27
How can i really get one. Please ... I just visited your website and i saw an advert about the radio. Please help me get one
I will get a pair in like 2 years. Hopefully by they they will be smaller, longer lasting and better sounding.
One year left
@@brokengbax420 😃
Well now theyre just discontinued...
Thanks Cobra Kai!
Nobody:
Bose: Hold on, I gotta charge my sunglasses.
$250 for a pair of normal frame or $250 for tech frames. Shut up and take my $$$ bose!
Lol $250 for 'decent' sun glasses and decent audio. 😒
They're literally sunglasses that play music
Idiots pay 400 dollars for regular sunglasses at least these do something cool
Still cheaper than Ray Bans
I have the altos. Def would recommend. I put auto shading prescription lenses in it.
They don't get that loud but it's sso great for listening to music in places you normally can't. Like at work. And with google assistant it's soo much better you can control your house and music and calls from anywhere with wifi.
@@tangerinetech5300 that’s because they have very nice build quality like take Randolph engineering they handmade there sunglasses in USA they use skytek mineral glass frames and they use real 23k gold plated frames so it’s shiny and optical clarity and scratch resilience
Wow thought they would slim down the arms they look just wrong.
does anybody actually use these?
Круто цена в России?
Was hoping gen 2 would look better but this looks the same or worse and more expensive
For a review on an audio product, you'd think the reviewer could have had a better audio set up...
Audio sounds far better than the glasses 🤣
The irony 😂
Cameras 🎥 📷 📸 will be obsolete with all the gadgets we can use to take pictures with
Worth 100 dollars no more
Doomed to fail.
I got the likes to 420.
pertamax
I got the Tempo version and thought it was absolutely useless personally.
€265. They sound awful - like something you’d buy on wish. They fog up just as quickly as normal sunnies when exercising.
I regret buying the Bose Frames, not because of the 2nd gen, but they just suck!
I don’t see the point...look awful and audio quality isn’t there
Point is, you'll see weird sunglass wearing men talking to themselves.
@@rbk9915 I smell funny RUclips video 😂
first
This to is a gimik. You cannot wear sun glasses all the time so 250 is just a waste of money. Just buy regular sun glasses and hi quality ear buds
Have you ever tried these? They sound super cool. It’s awesome hearing the world around you while still being able to listen to music that has great clarity.
@@colevowell9212 i have headsets that cost 180 and sound 100x better.
still wont fit my face。。。。。
I thought you only had to wear glasses like this after you had cataract surgery. This item is a mystery to me.
Stop using phone to shoot. 🙄

Is cnet too poor now to send their reviewers good mic to record this is just terrible and the funny thing it's a review about sound related product
Nothing to do with his microphone, it's the room acoustics.
Horrendous.
Nobody asked for this
Only 55 year old men will buy these
Because they have the means, but it’s ok join local ANTIFA and ransack local Best Buy and get them for free.
Are there only black people on commercials anymore? I feel like we are the United States of Africa
What a useless product
They look awful!
Bose sucks at the software department. Do not buy any product.
