Spedding never played for or with the Pistols, he afforded them some studio time early doors, he let Jones use his Flying V on Anarchy and there's a remote possibility that he 'suggested' how the second Anarchy solo went. Of course, all of this has been countered over the years, I guess we'll only really know when Jones's book comes out which I believe is being commissioned as I write.........
@Column111 Steve said in the "Classic Albums" dvd that chris spedding used to play his guitar parts backstage in the beggining. But Cook was/is a sick drummer. Like trash cans falling down the stairs. And Matlock was of course a good bass player.
Jones was joking. Its a old rumor that Chris played so Steve says it all the time. He says Chris was also at every gig, even today playing behind the curtains. No pictures of Chris playing, and Chris countless times has denied it. Jones played all the guitar, always for the Pistols.

not to be rude, but the fact that u dont have actual video of them playing doesnt prove they could.
well i wasnt inferring that they couldnt.but if i were skeptical, ur video wouldnt prove much, sorry =/
