4 years ago I made the decision to revert back to islam and start practicing again, one person helped me with questions regarding the deen and aqeedah in general. And that's my dad. If there are things that I'm not familiar with, the first person I would approach will always be my dad. He has a very well-balanced approach to the deen without going to extremes. And if there are things that even he does not know, he would then ask an ustaz about it for me. I never stopped appreciating my dad for that.
15:49 I've noticed yhe same thing too. One thing I've noticed is how distant people are from islam. When ur in a state of gafflah u don't realise it. I've been out of education for 2-3 years now- things didn't go my way. And I always say that failure is the best thing to happen to me, bc I became closer to Allah and learned so much and etc. In those years I've never seen my parents nag and berate me for years of not praying, then I have when it comes to education and getting a good job. The emphasis put on worldly matters is ridiculous. Even with my little brothers, its never u have to pray or anything, it's make sure u get educated I remember when i told them I'm going to do an apprenticeship or whatever, but I need to focus on becoming a better Muslim. They went mad
May Allah bless Mr. Adnan Rashid and his Mrs for raising this child well, May Allah guide all our children to become the role model of next generation when we will be gone
Baarakallahu feek, truly so much good and wisdom in this episode. I so wish we all led our lives with such a mindset of tawakkul - most of our perceived problems would dissolve into nothingness. Two of my favorite du’as are: حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ لا إِلَهَ إِلا هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ Meaning: “Allah is sufficient for me. There is none worthy of worship but Him. I have placed my trust in Him. He is the Lord of the Majestic throne.” Meaning: “O Ever Living One, O Eternal One, by Your mercy I call on You to set right all my affairs. Do not place me in charge of my soul even for the blinking of an eye.” Doing my best to truly embody these mindsets helps me to feel unconditionally joyous and content, because I know that Al-Wadud loves me more than I could ever love myself. And with wisdom and care, He has tailored every moment in the fabric of my life journey for my benefit. Placing my life in His hands is more than enough for me to feel safe and secure always. And my love and devotion to Him grants me unconditional gratitude and inner peace. 🤍
SUBHANALLAH ❤️🤍❤️ Good to see brother Musa back on RUclips MashaAllah Amazing & Beneficial Discussion _May Allah ﷻ bless you all and accept your efforts._
ngl i didn't go to uni because of the student loan i thought it was a riba based loan. In the UK the loan has to be repaid with interest and that scared me and without a loan how could i afford university...now i am just doing an apprenticeship alhamdulillah
Realistic conversation shared throughout the podcast. Masha'Allah brother Musa has learnt so much in these years. May Allah reward all of you for the good work. Aameen. Plus the ending was hilarious 😂
Awesome podcast loved the bits about Uni and showing respect to one's parents. Brother Musa seems like a really cool guy and I would like to see him again on the podcast InshAllah. May Allah SWT bless you guys.
1 - Whoever says SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi (Glory be to Allah and Praise Him) a hundred times during the day, his sins are wiped away, even if they are like the foam of the sea [Sahih al-Bukhari; #7:168, Sahih Muslim; #4:2071] 2 - whoever says SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi, Subhan-Allahi 'l-`adheem (Glory be to Allah, and Praise, Glory be to Allah, the Supreme) Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two words are light on the tongue, weigh heavily in the balance, they are loved by the Most Merciful One " [Sahih al-Bukhari; #7:67, Sahih Muslim, #4:2071] 5
Fayadh, Rami and Anghel and brother Musa as well, I am an old fan and I love you for the sake of Allah. Keep going. Can't wait for that reaction video with brother Musa.
Rami, you also gotta look at it from the side of the parents. They want their daughter to be taken care of and not go through any financial difficulty. Yes, there's such a thing as being too materialistic, but one cannot fault the parents for wanting the best for their daughter. It's unfortunate, but money matters a lot nowadays, even more so when the girl herself is working and earning a high wage.
Brothers get in the trades there is high demand and im the only muslim man on my job site we make 100k at a 7am-230 and can run our side business. You can make even more if you decide to run your own bussiness full time. The best part is you can start after high school im a electrician but theres plumbing ,hvac technician gas fitter , same thing very high demand
It's so true! In the Asian community they make the degree to be such a MASSIVE thing and too much importance on it. I really dislike this, when really our parents and families should have other priorities for their children.
What if the father is passed his 50s and still misguided and giving dunya advice wear’s the lasted outfits and don’t even pray at all or tell the children to pray how do you deal with that can you advise please?
Beautiful discussion but brother why ads if its dawah! Actually not only ads but too many ads Remove the ads jazaka Allah khair I only watched 11 minutes and already 3 ads , I stopped watching after that especially when I noticed a total of ten yellow ad markers in the timeline.
