The music, sound effects, game play etc such fun game and brings back good memories of gaming when i was kid, i still play video games but there will never be as good as the games i played on my gameboy, game cube. ps1 and ps2 when i was kid, modern games will never beat the originals
Still play this classic on the GameCube after all these years. If getting the timing right quickly pressing 'A' button 3 times in tune to the 'beeps' of the countdown of each race helps towards a perfect start of that particular race. Can tell when timing is right as it flashes red under the speed indicator.
I never got to play this, only rented the N64 titles when I was young. Thanks for showing it off pretty well, I'll have to pick it up and give it a go at some point.
I realize this comment is 2 years old, but controlling the bikes on XGR 3 had a lot depth compared to the more arcade feeling bikes of XGRA, you had to balance your turbos and shields to keep up your speed and breaking the sound barrier was very enjoyable when given the chance.
I feel insulted by how easy the tracks feel and play as the footage goes on, easily extreme-g (the first game) was the best of all, even 2 is kind of ok, this has way too much straight lines and minimal turns with little to do on a wasteland of a track. the 4th game reintroduces all of the sharp and quick turns filled with action and actual difficulty, this game felt more like a baby version of x-g for people just getting used to mk64, even that game is better than this shit.
Dude have you even played this game? This game is HARD on the higher speed classes and yeah these tracks are easy because they are the first tracks of the game. The later tracks especially on the higher speeds are much less forgiving. At don't get me started on the AI racers and the weapons. Before you say something know what you are talking about...
@@RikkiSan1 yep, I did on xbox and it was one of my biggest disappointments, it was fine for the most part, the leagues were a bit better, but the maps were very mediocre, I still enjoy the original game more than this one, it's even better than XG2 but to me, it doesn't beat the original, is not arcade-y like f zero but still enjoyable after all, the weapon system was a complete pain in the ass and overly sensitive controls ruined most of the game for me, I beat it on the hardest difficulty and felt hollow for me, the AI was unfair, especially the repeated weapon pick up mechanic felt very awful compared to previous games where depending on the locations, the best can be picked up, you only need to have the deathstrike at all times and the idea of picking them over and over was one of the worst aspects by how repetitive it got. not bad but still NOT my cup of tea. if it was more close to the original game, it would have been a significantly better game by far, the smooth graphics were one of my highlights at a constant 60fps does give you a sense of speed but the other elements were poorly executed.
I've been looking for this game for almost a decade (I'm 17 now). This was the game that started my gamer journey.
I really loved this game a lot, but it was struggling for me to finish a race in first place as a child.
Same here xD

You'll never know when things improve unlikely as it may be.
This was my favorite game as a kid.
I don't think I ever won a single race.
My childhood days on GameCube 😍
same
It just occurred to me, what if driving in cyberpunk 2077 had this same ambience?!
Me and my brother used to play this all the time. We got so fucking pumped when you broke the sound barrier, so fucking awesome.
7 years I've been trying to find this game 1 more to go
Not the same, but try Grip Combat Racing.

Wow so many memories
Bad memories?
I always used to play as Jakar Malanox - the foxy little minx!

Here in 2019, holy fuck I used to play this all the time on GameCube racing everyday, the memories.
You're not the only one I miss this game they need to make a new one.
First stage reminds me of the spykids 3 race I needa play this !
I always wonder why they never make more. It's like adult Mario Kart personally, but on bikes!
Gotta go fast, Gotta stay fast.
Love this game =)
The bestest bikeGame ever and4ever.
Man I remember playing this
1:31 Sure why not go for the greatest team with both the greatest and title rider of the game. Talon: Jakar Malanox.
Something is off about the speed of the gameplay here. Like, it’s slow. Anyine else notice this? Are you emulating and your PC can’t keep up?
glad to know I'm not the only one noticing something strange & too odd, It's not the game emulated, It's just that it sucks worse than XG-2 and XGRA.
I can't imagine what 500+ MPH/KPH (not sure witch one is being used) feels like. But I know it's faster than I can walk. :P
@@JilutheFang It´s MPH cuz at 760 u go supersonic
I'm starting to play this game and wanted to know how the player acquires Turbo, and what tells how much Turbo is left?
This Game play looks like Real Adventures of Johnny Quest's CGI sections
Que buena infancia :")
I remember this game...I was awful at it.
I still don't see how this is better than XGRA.

wish it would hurry up and download so wanna replay it
If they bring this game back, I stg I’ll go back to PlayStation
My opinion
4: Extreme G 2
3: Extreme G 3
2: XGRA
1: Extreme G
i wish remake with wipeout hd engine
Como lo jugue mucho en mi Nintendo Game Cube
Alguien español
Este y F-ZERO Gx los adoraba jugar con mis hermanos... E igual en mi Gc
My brother always beat me in this game
Este juego era la verga
Y las armas Papu? El peor juego de la saga.

Holy shit my childhood, I played this so much on GameCube and I thought it was the best thing ever haha
