- I am updating this 2003 Honda.CR250R into a 2024 HRC Race Team replica using a TXrace restyle kit with Throttle Jockey graphics. New trick carbon fibers parts were also installed from CMT Compositi and LightSpeed. You can give these bikes a ton of different styles with aftermarket companies. It has a lot of high-performance parts installed as well. Thanks to Throttle Jockey, Phat Head, Lectron, Boyeson, TXrace, CMT Carbon Fiber, Light Speed, and Pro Circuit for the mods. The Honda CR250R is a popular and competitive race bike. How would the Honda CR250R look if Honda still made two strokes today?

You’re better off with a defined gap so the plastics don’t chafe against each other. A better goal would be making the gap uniform along its length with the other parts.

Have you checked or corrected the carb boot to airbox interface for proper sealing? These year CRs have a weakness there.
Yes, this has the aluminum ring against the air boot at bolts to the airbox

What year is the bike? You should edit the title “ Fixing up my 20xx Honda CR250…” Not that hard to include the year of the bike right? Or at least put it in the description?
