Energy Savings - Nest Thermostat Notification Echo Speaker via Smartthings

Nest Learning Thermostat, Broadcast Heating/Cooling on & off on your Echo Speakers using Samsung Smartthings Device Handler Virtual switches. Help with saving energy.
Just connect connect Nest to the Smartthings app (you will need the Smartthings Hub), then connect Smartthings to the Alexa app.

All of this presumes that you have Nest Manager or some other Nest integration already installed? Also do you need Echo Speaks or some such automation installed also?

Hi just link nest to Smartthings with hub to get the thermostat to appear in Smartthings, then add a virtual switch then just connect Smartthings to Alexa app then you Just need an echo speaker.
