- Welcome to MASSIVLOG 40!
Join me as I travel to several places around the country, including Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, Pennsylvania South Dakota, Iowa and Tennessee. This year I decided to step back from all the ride announcements and knowledge about new and upcoming attractions. This results in an element of surprise that I haven't felt in decades. Do yourself a favor and take a break from learning everything about new attractions. You may be surprised to see just how surprised you get when experiencing a new attraction that you don't know much about. It's actually quite refreshing. Also, I would like to apologize as I incorrectly named the play in Sioux Falls "Last Call" when I should have said "Last Out."
I have had an incredible time traveling and putting these MASSIVLOGs together since late 2016. Due to other projects and priorities in my life, I no longer have the time to spend on creating these larger vlogs. MASSIVLOG 40 is the last video in this series. I sincerely appreciate those that have taken the time to watch these over the year. Thank you so much!

The MASSIVLOG40 video file size uploaded is 19.42GB. Cameras used in this video were an iPhone 12 Plus, GoPro Hero 8 Black and a Sony A7Siii. The video was edited and rendered in 4K HDR 60fps using Final Cut Pro X. Once uploaded to RUclips, it took six days for the HDR processing to be released.

Had no idea the new Dollywood coaster used LIMs! Glad you had lots of happy surprises at the parks you visited. And thanks for making these vlogs, they've been a blast!
I believe Vekoma decided to go with LIMs was due to extra weight on the trains due to the sound system and other stuff. Using an LIM system made the trains lighter. Something like that. Ha ha. Thanks for all the support in these vlogs over the years. They were fun to put together.

Glad you could capture my first time visit to Cedar Point! Had a great time hanging out with you at a few parks. You've been busy! Did I see a one hour easter egg? Sad to see the end of the Massivlogs, but looking forward to your new video format.
Yep, you caught the easter egg in this one! I still have no idea what I am going to do with vlog type videos. I have an extremely busy autumn but won't be visiting many parks. Just work stuff. Now that I have ended this series, I have gotten some texts from a couple friends and family telling me they liked the videos but they were glad I was doing something different because they were way too long. They weren't for everyone.
Man, I kinda ovelooked this video and only got to see it now. Thanks so much for all the entertainmant over the years!
No worries. I kind of just threw it online without much discussion. I hope to have another series later this year but for the MASSIVLOG series, it was time for it to stop. Thanks for watching them. They will still remain up.
Thank you for 6 years of Massivlogs! I'll miss them, but they had a great run, and I can't wait to see what you have to share in the future. Was fun seeing your time with Marty and David, as well as the number of parks you've been getting to. Also, I'm glad I wasn't the only one who noticed Animals as Leaders being played in the Monster queue lol.
Thank you, Vincent! I was happy to hear AAL in the queue. I don't know of many parks that would play that. I told one of the ride operators that I loved the music but she had no idea who the band was. When I told her, she just shook her head. Lol.
I’m so hyped for Top Thrill 2 next year. Kingda Ka is currently my #1 coaster because the hydraulic launch is the best thing I’ve ever experienced on a coaster. Too bad you visited Great Adventure during Kingda Ka’s closure because of the cable snap.
I was able to ride Kingda Ka many times in the past so it wasn't a major bummer that I didn't ride it on this visit. To be honest, I don't care much for the ride to begin with. The track work isn't ideal so there are a couple pot-holes that give me a headache when I ride. I haven't ridden it since the year El Toro opened.
Another kickass vlog! I just visited Hershey in early August. Halestorm was playing in the area (not at Hersheypark) so I decided to visit the park before the concert. Wildcat really took my breath away, literally. It was crazy good, but not something I can ride over and over.
I am kind of sad to see you won't be doing anymore Massivlogs but I know you love to video stuff so I can't wait to see what you create next!

That's cool. Metal and coasters rock! I would have loved to ride Wildcat some more. It was paced great and other than the last couple of hills, it was pretty easy to ride. Nothing too intense but it doesn't have to be.
Flare! I am not done watching the whole vlog yet, but I enjoyed seeing you meet up with Marty and David! Really wish I could have joined you! Sooner or later!
I’m am sad to hear that this is the end of your Massivlogs, but I hope you’re happy with your decision and the next phase.
Marty suggested that I contact you and let you know I was thinking of visiting Coney Island, but I changed that to a quick visit to Six Flags and the mall. I was only at each for two hours. We do have plans to do an event with the Eyes of Freedom in Atlantic City next summer so if that happens I will definitely let you know as I will arrange time to visit New York. I haven't been there in many years and it would be cool to finally meet you in person.

The Ariel Jet Fighter Acrobatics were bad ass! Monster at Adventureland is one of my faves! Such a complete coaster!
I just watched the 10 part audio tour of the EOF. I don’t know what to say. So powerful! I could’ve teared up twice if I let myself.
Thank you, Ted! The audio tour has been a big hit this year. We have had it since 2016 but for some reason it has taken off at the events this year. Thanks again for the kind words. I am already feeling the benefits of not starting another vlog. Definitely need a long break from any of that stuff. I do have plans to create a new series but it won't happen until later next year. More on that at a later time. :)

One of the vlogger’s I watch visited Lost Island on a pouring rainy day. He rode the pendulum ride and asked the ride ops not to spin it and they were kind enough to ablige. He was the only patron in the park, though. I’m glad you were able to get that credit as who knows how long it will continue to operate due to its low crowds. Maybe they should call it the beloved Island of Misfit Rides as it’s out in the middle of nowhere. [Insert Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer nod. 🦌😂]
I really wish I had more time to spend in the park the day I was there. As I left, I went to guest relations and told them how much fun I had and how incredible the staff was. The park deserves large crowds.
