I don't know why but I love the way that they decided to put Tinkerbell's float in Peter Pan unit.
man. Last time I saw this my grandmother was right next to me alive and well. I'd probably get tears like I am live and embarrass myself if I saw this live again.
It's great to see this parade back at Disneyland (which will last until June, when Paint The Night comes back in its new refurbished design). The only changes they done were the Tinker Bell float is now presented in the Peter Pan Unit instead of at the beginning, the Drum now uses its original "Disneyland Presents" and "The Main Street Electrical Parade" text, and one of the Pinocchio floats is omitted.

I was about 5 years old when I saw this and I remember certain things from it but I REALLY remember that Dragon from Pete's dragon...it blew smoke at me...
I've only seen it at Disney world 2 times and VHS tape 1billion times. Can't wait until I get to see it at Disneyland!

This is so cool. I enjoyed seeing this parade when I was a child. Thank you for bringing it back to Disneyland again. I feel like a School-Age child again, because I do remember seeing part of it. Not the whole thing entirely due to lack of language in the old days of my life. All that I recognized back then was the song "Little April Shower" from Walt Disney's Bambi. It was cute and springy at the same time.
The soundtrack is different.
They filled-in the 7 count short measure (bar # 10) in the loop. Apparently because the choreographers complained. So much for tradition.
I think the real reason was to re-record with an unnamed studio staff musician to avoid paying royalties to Don Dorsey because that's how Disney rolls.

This Parade will end in June 18 2017. I wish this show can go on forever
Not exactly! The Main Street Electrical Parade will end on August 30, 2017 which is a Wednesday. I saw ads for it on banners that were seen hanging inside of frames located in the very center of the light posts where the speakers meet. They're in the Downtown Disney district. You can't miss them.

Oh man, i remember listening to this sound track on one of my disney tapes as a kid over and over. I'd give anything to see it live, but its honestly just so amazing to see a video of it. I didn't think it would be something I'd ever see.
Cinderella floats are just a fucking dream to witness here 25 years later. The details, the music, the canopy dancers, the clock. ❤️❤️❤️

I Don't know What Happened Between The Walt Disney Worlds Electrical Parade & The Disneyland 2017 Parade But If You All Watch There Is A BIG BIG Difference In The Parade. They Cut 2 Court Dancers Out From 8 Per Canopy To 6. The Tinkerbell Balloon Is Gone. The Pleasure Island Unit Is Gone. WOW! & I Thought You Were Getting The Full Parade. What The HELL!

Paul Wanders the tinker bell balloon was never there in the original version when it was at Disneyland. they only added it when it moved to WDW. it was the blue fairy who was the original first float.

What's going on with the sound in this video? I know these people aren't amateurs so, why is this happening? It's not my computer, because the same thing happens when I tried to watch it on my ipods and other computers. so why is the sound cutting out at times and becoming lower at times? This is upsetting to say the least.
angeloflifelight maybe. I was just really concerned when the sound just shut off completely. Like that was panic central for me. Like "What's wrong with my computer? What's going on? Why is this happening?"

😭😭😭literally started crying. They kept the same music and the sane floats! At WDW they changed the music and added newer floats too. In so excited that it came home😭the only problem is it's leaving on june 8th
This is the same soundtrack that they've been using since 2009
MegaSoulHero actually its not. Theres different alterations of this song for the parade. Theres a much longer song for the parade that includes Dumbo's float that used to be around during the time it was at California Adventures. The one in WDW is somewhat altered to sound newer to the younger generation. I went last spring and watched it and was kinda disappointed with their music. The main street one you hear now is the original one from the early 2000's. And also the floats at WDW are much more different now too. The caterpillar's face is electronic and actually moves his eyes, nose and mouth. And Tinkerbell's float was much larger and was the first float to come out instead of the original train with Goofy, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse
Lilly Cofell Bro, MSEP new soundtrack have been used in DCA before the parade came in WDW. The floats that you see in WDW are all from Disneyland including Tinkerbell's float as well during MSEP return back in 1999-01.

I feel like Taking the Balloon and Blaze of fof Tinker Bell's float was a really off choice. I feel like they are trying to distance it from the Tinker Bell films, which is sad, because they were really good.

This parade has "retired" many times in the past. It's just a guaranteed-to-be-popular parade they can trot out as a replacement anytime their usual nightly show has downtime.
I remember seeing this as a kid waaay back in the day. That had to be like almost 20 years ago. yeah I was eight lol. Then it went away :( but it came back :D yaaaaay
This is the most magical parade your kids will EVER see in their lives. With the $50 a day for 3 days pass for So. Cal residents, I strongly recommend taking your kids to see this. This will more than likely be their only chance to see the Greatest Parade on Earth, in it's original home, ever again. Sure after June 19th, it will be going back to it's home for the last 7 or 8 years in Florida's Magic Kingdom. But this is a chance for them to see it where it originated. But hurry, After June 19, 2017 It goes back to Florida
Shawn Stunkard Sadly I dont think its coming back to Florida. I think this is the last run of the parade, and after June 18th its going to be put in storage, as a backup incase their new parades aren't well recieved/need refurbishment.
I hope this isn't the end of the parade though, as I wish I could see it in person, but I can see why they'd want to retire it.
