Wanna know what I love about these cards? I can actually listen to what all the cards do and not feel my eyes glaze over by the 2nd monster. Simple but not weak effects with a mechanic that actually gives them a pretty unique and flavourful play style

Madlove= Kokonoe Heavy= Iron Tager Kaiser= seemingly seems like it could be Susanoo or a reference to Sol Badguy's Dragon install from Guilty Gear. Pluton=Arakune Pantera= most likely Makoto Nanaya. And Raizen is probably Supposed to be like Ragna. But if that was the case i think itd be more obvious like the others lol.

Con #4 in TCG most of the whole archetype is high rarity (UR/SR) so hard to get or way over priced, unlike in the OCG where it's mostly common or rare.

@David Rigdon The collection aspect is where all the money is. Why else does a starter deck in the OCG gets turned into a deck building set (complete with pack filler) in the TCG?

An incomplete deck is worthless, and a complete deck takes way too much resources, esp. with how they've been constantly rarity bumping and chucking cards into the master pack void Not even discuss tcg here I can't play it, just too expensive.
That game 3 was so painful. You had so many opportunities to summon caesar, activate his eff and chain borger to bounce to out skill drain. I get that TMT is meant to give a brief understanding of how the archetypes work but vanquish soul is a deck that only does well with a deep understanding of how the cards work. I hope you revisit this at a later date.

I just started playing Yu-Gi-Oh again after at least a decade, and it took a bit to get used to all the new archetypes and summonings but I ended up landed on vanquish souls and I’m in love with the deck 🔥
I have to wonder if anyone's tried teching in a few Artifacts, since Pantera can destroy even your own backrow in her column at quick effect speed, and especially if you're gonna have a Tornado Dragon in the extra.

@@yaboimorrissey5273 well, most of the Blazblue cast are just reskins of GG, so that tracks. That said, the fact that he’s designed to tag in to protect the Kokonoe expy… and his name… gives me much heavier Iron Tager vibes.
This is why you run Trinity Burst. It helps clear out any undesireables from the backrow like an annoying Floodgate for instance as well as clear out any pesky monsters with targetting protection.
We have 2 ways to out skill drain in engine So yeah we don’t worry about floodgates other than rivalry. And we flip Tcboo in response and have the better ahole on field 24/7
Honestly, if the top tables end up being VS vs Labrynth I wont complain. The games seem more control based and skill intensive as long as theyre not flipping floodgates.
A couple of things, the list was for an event with the old banlist and the attributes of Droll and Nibiru don't synergyze with the deck. I wouldn't play them in this format. Cards like D. D. Crow or shifter would have been much better against labyrinth. Also you should have focused on getting the three attributes in game 3, use Casear to pop skill drain and tag out with Borger. If you put both on the field at the same time you can't protect them.
What he dosent show you is the 4 hand trap hand or being forced to sit on the flood gate for 2 -3 turns before you get the required cards to pop off smh
I think Trinity Burst is an incredibly underrated card, if you get locked out like you did earlier the ability to bounce two to three full rows is insane. Even at one being searchable makes it a good tech. Plus when it's something like a fusion deck that can use face-downs, it's just a better option than Dust Devil.
Glad this deck is getting some good rep! Was debating running a list with triple pantera and triple tenki since it all but guarantees Rock, though losing out on non-engine spaces makes it a tough sell. Definitely a deck worth experimenting with. Great vid as always!

So at 10:20 why did you turn razen in link1. Special summon Dr. Mad. Love trigger Effekt. Special broger and use the draw and use the quick spell to get razen back? That combo baits way harder then the borger special into a link 1.

actually the deck is pretty comfortable around skill drain if you have enough attributes in hand. For example game 3 you couldve outed skill drain twice but as you said you outplayed yourself into losing the game by making the incorrect plays.
I have been doing BBtag combos on Master Duel like you wouldn't believe Kokonoe into TAGER so I search AND DRAW Then Jialong to sweep the leg or search AGAIN I'M not surprised when I get the 6-7-8 Trio out ON THE OPPONENT'S TURN and they surrendered
