We’ve been cooped up inside for the longest time in living memory thanks to Covid-19. So for Diwali, we decided to, cautiously, venture out into the world again as India heads for winter. Our rides of choice? India’s most famous premium motorcycle, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 BS6 and its new sibling, the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 BS6. Two engines that do the same thing but with different tech, out on the backroads of Maharashtra. Varun Painter and Shubhabrata Marmar got to ride the bikes, and the rest of us at Team PowerDrift? We’re jealous, as well as happy for them.

Was it shot in koyna wildlife sanctuary., I have been on a boat ride in similar location exactly a decade ago 🙂, thanks for bringing back the memories.

Out here in Bengal, we have places that have stark similarity and are spitting images of the sceneries depicted here....my guess is that Mother India is inherently beautiful...Bihar or Bengal...Madhya Pradesh or Maharashtra....
I've been riding for the last decade...from a humble Hero Honda Ambition to an Apache RTR 160 to now a BS6 250 Duke...who knows what follows next...still humble though, while riding with my 650 Twin & 390 Duke brothers...
while not a fan of the Royal Enfield series, there's no denying the place they have carved in the history of Indian motorcycling....an Enfield will always be timeless...

The video is shot at Kaas, 25km from Satara. And the windmills shot is near Chalkewadi, I guess. That place also has a wind farm in Satara. The boat scene must be from Bamnoli, which is just ahead of Kaas and has boating facility. So good to see all the places from my hometown!!
You guys have nailed the video! The beauty of these places is surreal and you have justified it totally. It was really peaceful to watch it. I am not able to ride because of pandemic, but you guys fulfilled my wish to revisit these locations.

This place is less than 35km from where I live. Its an absolutely wonderful place to ride, enjoy the nature and to be with yourself. A place where you can either use camera and shoot all the beauty around or just keep the techs inside the bag and harness the peace of nature to enhance beauty of your mind. Unfortunately due to the pandemic, I have refrained myself from riding and visiting this place, whereas it's one superb kind of mediation in these adverse situations. Glad that Shumi, Varun and PD Crew displayed the beauty of this place so well. It was really peaceful to see it. Thank you Shumi, thank you Varun, thank you amazing PD crew and huge congratulations on 2 million.

1st one is kaas plateau and then bamnoli (its the backwaters of koyna dam...last scene was from there) and 2nd is thoseghar waterfalls and windmills both of these locations are in 30km radius of satara and pune to satara is 120km
PowerDrift should start mentioning the locations you guys are giving some major travel goals
