After watching this, I remembered the day he passed and my mother was crying hysterically and praying. I was in my late teens early 20s and my ex fiance and I at the time made it an inside joke because we just couldn't fathom how she could be so upset over a celebrity she's never even met. I felt this way all the way up to Kobe Bryant and the other families tragic passing. I cried like a baby. Kobe was my generation's GOAT. I'm not here to argue who the real GOAT is trust me at any point of the day I can literally find grown ass men arguing about two things indefinitely and that's basketball and hip hop. But we were the generation that watched Kobe do miraculous things. We were the actual "Kobe" generation that crumbled up paper with the fade in middle/high school. Kobe had his own ethical issues the media tried to break him down with. So I did a deep dive of Michael and researched every aspect of his career and his accusations. From what I've seen and what is public opinion there's actually no concrete evidence of Michael doing wrong by children. Leaving Neverland was debunked. One of the two men (who were kids at the time) was going through a bad financial situation and decided to call the other to make money. They retracted their statements awhile later. On top of all of this the statements made by the two did not add up to the truth. For example both men stated Michael kept them all in separate rooms and never allowed them to see each other or play together. Then the defense found a picture of all the kids together with Michael playing games. All with smiles on their faces and all recognizable. Their allegations were quickly dispatched but unfortunately the media and humanity do not go by our own words "innocent until proven guilty" and do the opposite. Now bring in my early 30s and have gone through terrible trauma myself I can see the pain, fear, and trauma in Michaels eyes. Oprah did him no justice with the interview because it was more of an interrogation. It's a shame people continue to try and defame and judge a man who is no longer with us but it is what it is. Hopefully Michael is at peace and is free to be the best version of himself he always wanted to be.
To be fair, I do think he was very aware of how loved he was by his incredible and massive following, and he had so much love in his heart, such a great dude. It's just in the wider social sphere, or more "superficial" levels, yes, he was dragged through the dirt. But where it mattered, he was *_untouchable_* . Because remember, he didn't anoint himself as The King Of Pop... Everyone who heard his music did.
@Santina Moore Yes he was so cute and adorable! This video is so crisp and clear. I love it! Wish it was much longer! I could watch/listen to Michael speak ALL day!
I can also understand. The world is full of bad people and there are are very few good people. Michael was one of nicest person but it's sad he didn't find real freind.
I think him getting famous and at such a young age was more of a curse than a blessing. He was never free as a child and even as an adult. This is so sad. He deserved to be loved.
This is a trait of being introverted that a lot of people don't realize. Performing on stage for an audience and expressing themselves through the art is something they love to do even though they might seem quiet and shy when not performing
Poor Michael 😥 he is so misunderstood . Everyone just wanted him to preform constantly and nobody understood he needed help and support . He sounds so sad in this and I would love to have given him a huge hug
He radiated kindness, beauty and purity but also a deep sadness that I don't think anyone could fill, that's the biggest tragedy. That someone so beautiful was so alone
The negative influences of this world are designed to make our heart sick through emotional & physical pain resulting in a given person turning to music as one source of comfort to the body. The painful realty of this existence gives rise to the birth of music in two forms, earthly & HEAVENLY. Earthly music speaks to the experiences of this world through the singer-song writer’s eyes. Oftentimes drug use (i.e. alcohol, smokes, marijuana, cocaine, opioids, benzos and propofol to name a few) is intertwined with the survival of an artist to deal with the pressure of performing in order to stay relevant in the music industry, and to serve as fuel for creativity. As a result, music celebrities develop a tendency to sin against their body, through excessive drug use, for not measuring up to or to satisfy the demands of their music. Any earthly joy they experience is darkened by the heavy burden of performing and the loss of privacy. The end users of their music become fans because the lyrics are relatable and the sound of the singer’s voice & rhythm helps them cope with the pains of this reality. Unfortunately, this band aid approach is only a time out from the hurt and in the meantime we are fortifying its wall with painful memories waiting in line. Who can save us from wounds that are silent, wordless and cruel all the while tearing us apart inch by inch on the inside, which could radically accelerate the demise of the human body? I will use caps as emphasis to show the honest reverence for GOD'S SOVEREIGNTY when writing about HEAVENLY music in the paragraphs below. That INVINCIBLE DIVINE be our HEAVENLY FATHER, WHO THROUGH HIS SON’S MISSION HAS INSPIRED believers to write songs that sing of HIS LIFE GIVING LOVE to deal with emotional & physical pain, economic instability, mortality and the emotional instability of others with the motive of winning over souls for HIS KINGDOM. The melody & theme of HEAVENLY music is hateful and intolerable to the devil, a spirit which causes us to be blinded of the effects of sin and is responsible for the woes of this world such as melancholy, anguish, tribulation and trial. These agitations of the soul create a heavy burden for the lost and could lead him or her to be hostile of songs that sing about GOD’S GLORY. This makes it clear that we cannot win the spiritual battle by our own strength. Moreover, on earth the devil has no equal. GOD has provided us with the ONE WHO CAN AND WILL LIFT the heavy burden of sin's guilt from a given sinner's heart if he or she (through faith) would open their understanding to Psalms (starting with the focus on Psalms 51:1-10 KJV), and hymns/songs giving praise to HIM for the purpose of being persuaded, converted and healed by the HOLY SPIRIT from within by transforming your body/temple into a meeting place for you and the KING OF THE AGES to commune as friends through the born again experience (repentance manifesting itself in a changed life). It is only here that the fears of tomorrow will diminish, the blessed assurance is given that you are HIS and HE LIVES. Once the blessed assurance is known in prayer (through the confession of wanting salvation from one’s sinful nature, combine with admitting that JESUS CHRIST is LORD and believing in one’s heart that GOD raised HIM from the dead to deliver us from sin's guilt) the world can never take it away because the world didn’t give it to you.
The moment when he said that yes he did think his father was too strict then immediately “He’s gonna kill me” it literally just tore my heart up! I just want more than anything to just give him a hug!
you can see his nervousness, when he starting playing with the audio mixer the camera focuses. that's deep psychological impact his father left on him for the beatings. That's pure reaction of guilt and he got scared for real for saying something he shouldn't. he was such a pure heart, media can go f**k itself for hurting someone who removed barriers, healed the world with his magic. Long live MJ.
stop making more of it than it was. The crooked media grabbed onto that answer and blew it up. Then it makes people think he'll abuse others. They dug at him and dug at him with that topic, looking for drama for ratings! Just stop. Later in life, Michael was asked about his father for the hundredth time, and he said he wouldn't change a thing, or he wouldn't have accomplished what he did. Do you know how many people have been whooped as a kid? Stop scandalizing. Michael had no idea how evil the media would be with his every word.

"I'll believe in the force, it'll tell me when" that sounds like an old soul in a 21-year old body! I learned so much from Michael!!!! Love you, Michael! ❤❤❤

I do not care what the press says and what people think, I am convinced and nobody is going to change my mind that Michael is awesome, a figure to follow a person who even being so incredible wants to continue to improve, sometimes I wonder if Mj was a real human being, thank you for trying to solve the problems of this world and for teaching us not to stop believing in ourselves and reaching our goals you are someone from another world Michael Jackson.
Yes looking at his interviews Michael seems like kind, gentle and innocent. He didn't have a lot of people he could trust. He might have had some issues but I don't believe that he did what they said. I looked at these new interviews and the two guys just don't seem credible.
@The Wild What did he do to his victims? Tell me. Don’t eat the shit media feeds you. They couldn’t prove shit in court. Please let his soul rest. He is NOT a pedophile. He was someone who could have seriously changed the corrupt political systems of the world due to his incredible global fan base which gave him incredible power. He had dreams to unite Africa, end poverty.. and would openly talk about it. That is why they changed his media image. People found his compassionate personality even more difficult to understand. Which other superstar goes around promoting world peace?? Sings about children suffering and ending hunger? Man in the mirror…he was a true empath. He WAS the victim. He still IS, they can’t let it go even after his death. Listen to some Dave Chapelle, there is a documentary that his lawyers who represented him in his court cases made independently but this content was taken off RUclips…learn to critically think. Please. You are brainwashed. You.
Ladies and gentlemen, The biggest, the greatest, the most impactful, the most successful, the most talented artist and musician in the whole history of humanity and of the world : Mr. M.J, the legend.
Sometimes I wonder if his upbringing brought out the brilliance we see. Most big talent kids with huge potential have very supportive & nice parents, hoping one day they get a piece of the action. Michael Jackson & Tiger Woods had very tough, very hard, very critiquing (possibly abusive or borderline abusive) fathers & ended up arguably the most disciplined & focused & talented people in history.
Michael Jackson was the victim of a traumatic black household. Being somebody with trash toxic parents, that shit is no joke and it does affect you, your relationship with yourself/people, the world and how you see it. Nobody has the right to judge this man for ANYTHING, and that goes triple for you if you don’t know what it’s like to have an enemy or a bully for a parent.
Katherine wasn't abusive i believe. This is the reason i came here cause my cruel parents abuses me and my siblings since we were little and the one they did today pissed me so much 😪😔 so i came to revisit MJ since he went through all these. Someday my parental abuse are gonna become history and i will in all ways possible make my parents feel bad especially my dad for what he and his wife did me this night, they'll pay for all.
“I believe in the force” that tells you everything you need to know about this man- he was a god send. We should all be blessed to live during the time of this gentle but powerful soul.

@@ultron374 Some few of us never got fame but still had a screwed up childhood, I mean we never got none due to abusive, hateful, joy depriving parents since little till today till I break free soon, I hope
Ya...I can't disagree with that.... But I do also hate such incredible talent to go to waste just for the sake of yet another mediocre childhood and life... Which we all know can be extremely painful and miserable without the fame and money.... I think he had to express his talent....I don't think he would have been happier without being able to sing and dance
@@lechatleblanc how is enjoying a childhood "mediocre" instead of being pushed by a parent who wants to live a dream through you? You can have talent as a child, but also respect the fact that he/she deserves to have a childhood. You're only a child once, talent is forever.
He was too innocent for this shitty world. He was mistreated. There was this obvious sadness in this interview, he was 21 he should’ve been a happy and worry free boy. I just wanna give him a big hug😢❤
Man, this makes me want to cry. Michael, wherever you are in the next life, we love you. Thank you for gracing this earth with your beautiful soul!!!!!
I can go to sleep listening to this man. I’ve loved Michael since I was a child , aged 9 and the Jackson 5 came out . My dad bought me all their albums and my sister took me to my first concert ever in 1970 to see the Jackson 5 perform at the Municipal Auditorium in New Orleans , Louisiana. Now my grandkids love Mike and can’t get enough of his videos. You will always be a part of my family’s music MJ!! ♥️♥️
They turned his pure intentions into something so evil.. I love this man with all my heart. Words can’t even express how much love I have for him. I hope to meet him in heaven one day.❤️
His father would constantly bully him about his nose as a child and became very insecure about it. His father also hit him when he messed up a note. He was a bad father
Ok...let's focus on reality for a minute. Joe bullied all of his kids..not just Michael. Both Joe and Katherine were very toxic parents to all of their kids. Joe was physically and emotionally abusive. Katherine was emotionally and spiritually abusive. She was constantly making the kids feel guilty about everything they did through her religion (Jehovah's Witness). All of the kids had nose jobs except one (Tito). Joe didn't really like being black and he taught that same self-hatred to his kids. Joe's mother was actually biracial and he thought he was better because of it. Joe thought he was better because he had green eyes. Anything that wasn't associated with being black was considered good. Anything associated with being black was bad. That's why the only kid that came out semi-unscathed was Rebbie and I think it's because she left the industry early on. There was nothing done to Michael that wasn't done to his siblings...but Michael was clearly affected in a way that his siblings weren't which makes me think Michael needed therapy at a young age. Unfortunately, he wasn't going to get it because that was against their religion.
@@lisacox3750 A lot of kids growing up well into the 80's and 90's had a parent like Joe. I myself can relate as my mother used to strike fear in my heart to the point that if I came home with anything less then a 100 on all test I would get smacked for not being the best I could be. It definitely does take a toll on your psyche though. I still love my mother but I definitely have feelings of discontent toward her. It's like I am glad she pushed me to achieve more, but at the same time hate her for being such a hard ass about it.
He's saying one thing, but his eyes are telling everything. He seemed so sad/guarded in this interview, almost like something happened before it started.
All of your music touched our hearts Michael! You did that! You made conscious, soul stirring, thought provoking music that has healed, brought awareness, & touched the lives of countless people. It will last a lifetime!
Bro his voice is so humble and nice to listen, his heart is pure, even in his own problems he is still be able to smile. Kids love him and now people are nowadays think he’s a child molester? They have to grow up because you can’t trust medias nowadays, even celebrities disagree that Micheal is a child molester and is one of the best people around the world.
A lot of people in the industry believe he was abused sexually during his time in Motown. Michael was extremely scared of sex. He documents this, in his biography 'Moonwalker'.
His voice is very very soft omg its like you wanted to be friends with him right away and you dont want anyone to hurt him 😢😢😢. But when he sings and dance 😮😮😮😱😱😱
There is a Magic in all of his Songs that whenever I feel so down and sad I just listen to his songs and then after that I become so calm and feel great.
I remember this interview. I think it was on 60 minutes. The whole world probably watched no doubt. The 70's & 80's were good decades and YES, MICHAEL JACKSON was part of the reason why. Long live the King of Pop and his legacy!!!
Seeing him talk about his father here reminded me of the interview with Martin Bashir. Even at the age of 44, Michael still had a hard time talking about his father.. :(
That's the effect of strong negative trauma. My father is similar that i get mental disoriented sometimes that's the reason i am on this video in fact cause he just served me pain this evening in conjunction with with his wife (my mom)

😪😪 i can feel his pain
you can see his nervousness, when he starting playing with the audio mixer the camera focuses.
that's deep psychological impact his father left on him for the beatings.
Stop the cap.
It's a natural reaction. He even smiled about it.

What did he do to his victims?
He speaks like his mother.. so elegantly and poised. ❤️
very shy soft voice but on stage his angel came out
Michael Jackson was the victim of a traumatic black household.
Thanks for adding “black” to the comment, i definitely would have thought he was the victim of a white household
Katherine wasn't abusive i believe.
This is the reason i came here cause my cruel parents abuses me and my siblings since we were little and the one they did today pissed me so much 😪😔 so i came to revisit MJ since he went through all these. Ya...I can't disagree with that.... But I do also hate such incredible talent to go to waste just for the sake of yet another mediocre childhood and life...
