The animation isn't even that bad. Just because a show can't have demon slayer animation doesn't mean its bad.
This reminds me, I noticed how slice of life anime, my specific examples would be "engaged to the unidentified" and "barakamon", often have better animation than action anime, even though they really don't need to.

@@captaincrash9002 slice of life are typically seasonals, the schedule is usually healthy on those kind of production. They barely do any action scenes so they have plenty time to do it when they want to. Time is a very important factor in these production, shounen anime usually have to animate plenty of actions so the schedule is usually very tight.

Why is it with this anime some of it looks really good and then instances like this look nothing compared to it?

i like how studio pierrot manage to make such an amazingly awfully fight scene it's like a watered down version of the naruto vs pain fight which was also terrible

Yeah. But, remember Jack can still boost him power with Death Scythe, and Yami wasn't lying when he said he was gonna bust out a powerful attack. That was gonna be a prototype Dimension Slash that one shots almost any character in the show.

This is probably the right time to quit this anime because it only gets worse. Comparing to manga i feel like they payed some middle school kids to animate it.
Turtler I'm not quite sure what people expectied from black clover, It's really not a big anime to be hyped over it pisses me off in the manga as well, but I suppose since I like anime more than manga I rather watch it then read it.

The plot is more than a "bit" cliche. It is textbook shounen.
Many animes got moments that could have looked better but it will always get good again later so giving up on an entire show only for this is stupid.
Dragon Ball Super for example had some moments with bad animation and art but most of the show looked great.
And that something has been done in similar ways before does not make it bad or mean that it should not be done ever again.
I really like most of the stuff you see often in shounens and the Japanese likes it too or else they obviously would not continue to do it so often.
There is stuff you see very often on western media because people like and enjoy it and want to see it.
