Langris leaving the Golden Dawn really cost people their lives here. He's the only direct counter to Zenon. If he were there, he atleast holds off till Yuno arrives and they 2 v 1 Zenon, maybe even escape with the captain.

Yuno recieved a major blow this time, showing his absolute weakness in that demon users presence. Yuno didn't seem to surpass his limits since the fight with the Elf King. Whereas Asta surpassed his former self in his recent battle alongside Yami, so now Yuno will be training to get stronger and catch up to Asta.

As the leader of Golden dawn and the most promising candidate to become the next wizard king I would like to say few words here. 1.Dont compare my squad with other squad because others maintain law and order within country and we are maintaining it on borders. 2.The name of the series is Black clover it means whatever is in black will be the most powerful thing. Ex- black clover, black bulls, black devils, black underwear. 3.I would have defeated Xenon but i was more concerned on protecting my all squad members as i have already hurted them in elf saga. 4.I thank asta and yuno for saving me and yami from Dark triads 5.I would now like to thank my all fans.
I do think the world tree is more a support skill which is why its dubbed close to wizard king as we see all the wizard kings are mostly support types in nature who grew to become offensive power houses Even time magic is more defensive than offensive

The elves started destroying the outskirts of clover first and they were somewhat in the right because they wanted to live again peacefully and they thought if they let humans intervene, the same thing would happen. Not to mention the only thing the elves saw from humans was evil. The humans attacked the elves and hurt patry's comrades so he thought humans hadn't changed one bit (and also when he picked fanas body). Now for Yuno stealing the merit, that isn't Williams fault. William wasn't present in the battle scene and was in a deep sleep inside of Patry so Yuno must have told him the story or whatever himself and may have put himself above asta. Also Yuno does deserve a lot of praise because a lot of the reason asta didn't die in that fight was cuz of Yuno. Asta was just really handy because he possessed anti-magic.
One thing I liked this arc is that each if the light tried matched up against the dark triads magic attributes well but not their devils. Asta vs dante: body magic is hard countered by anti magic due to it stopping the regen. But gravity magic was effective against anti Magic due to the aoe attacks and environmental use Yuno VS zenon: wind magic pairs well against bone as air and wind erodes bones quicker. But spatial domination hard counters wind magic due to the ranged spells yubo uses Noelle VS vanica: water magic counters blood magic as blood Congeals in water and is made less effective as shown by Lolo. But curse warding magic hard counters like everything. Furthermore each of the light triads powers ups fix those issues. Devil union allows asta to just erase mana within his vicinity, spirit of boreas was able to just overpower zenons spatial domination, and Saint stage purifies evil ie curse warding.

Yunos wind erodes the bones and than spatial domination bodied him. Water magic was a direct counter for blood magic. Than curse magic screwed them over. Their powerups literally counter those things. Boreas overpowers spatial domination, devil union erases mana around asta, and Saint stage purifies negative mana. What's What's stretch?

The thing that people don’t get is that, vengeance is strong and is most likely to become the wizard king simply because of merit. The current wizard literally stated that you need merit. Yami could care less about that and even if he did, the people would rather choose vengeance because he is more like wise to be fit for the wizard king.

the author has so much favoritism for Asta that he made an entire fight between Asta and Asta's captain uncut, but cut the fight between William vs zenon showing only William already defeated, and even yuno vs zenon itself was cut with Yuno being impaled by a sword while Bell cries for him

i mean Asta is the main character so... besides, Yuno had a lot of moments that overshadowed Asta like when he first used spirit magic vs Mars, or when he fought Rill and Asta can't do anything but watch. even in their 2v1 fight vs Licht, Yuno was doing 80% of the work. I'd say the major thing missing from Yuno as a character is that we don't get to see his training and why he's powerful. so it's almost like he's just plain talented, that's it, no effort unlike Asta. that's what the author should've fixed but it's too late now since the story is nearing its end

And to the William vs Yami, yeah no sorry but no, Yami got way too OP in the timeskip, he has a spell that just cuts through dimensions like it's butter and has unlocked a spell that is strong enough to insta kill anyone. Yuno recieved a major blow this time, showing his absolute weakness in that demon users presence.
Yuno didn't seem to surpass his limits since the fight with the Elf King.
Whereas Asta surpassed his former self in his recent battle alongside Yami, so now Yuno will be training to get stronger and catch up to Asta.

The elves started destroying the outskirts of clover first and they were somewhat in the right because they wanted to live again peacefully and they thought if they let humans intervene, the same thing would happen. Not to mention the only thing the elves saw from humans was evil. The humans attacked the elves and hurt patry's comrades so he thought humans hadn't changed one bit (and also when he picked fanas body).
Now for Yuno stealing the merit, that isn't Williams fault. William wasn't present in the battle scene and was in a deep sleep inside of Patry so Yuno must have told him the story or whatever himself and may have put himself above asta. Also Yuno does deserve a lot of praise because a lot of the reason asta didn't die in that fight was cuz of Yuno. Asta was just really handy because he possessed anti-magic.
Yuno so full of despair here was such a lovely thing to finally see.

This short arc really did a great job to become a prequel for the next arc.
One thing I liked this arc is that each if the light tried matched up against the dark triads magic attributes well but not their devils.
Asta vs dante: body magic is hard countered by anti magic due to it stopping the regen. But gravity magic was effective against anti Magic due to the aoe attacks and environmental use
Yuno VS zenon: wind magic pairs well against bone as air and wind erodes bones quicker. But spatial domination hard counters wind magic due to the ranged spells yubo uses
Noelle VS vanica: water magic counters blood magic as blood Congeals in water and is made less effective as shown by Lolo. But curse warding magic hard counters like everything.
Furthermore each of the light triads powers ups fix those issues. Devil union allows asta to just erase mana within his vicinity, spirit of boreas was able to just overpower zenons spatial domination, and Saint stage purifies evil ie curse warding.

Yunos wind erodes the bones and than spatial domination bodied him. Water magic was a direct counter for blood magic. Than curse magic screwed them over. Their powerups literally counter those things. Boreas overpowers spatial domination, devil union erases mana around asta, and Saint stage purifies negative mana. What's What's stretch?

The thing that people don’t get is that, vengeance is strong and is most likely to become the wizard king simply because of merit. The current wizard literally stated that you need merit. Yami could care less about that and even if he did, the people would rather choose vengeance because he is more like wise to be fit for the wizard king.

Yuno get cut EVERY TIME , especially when it's so important for him as a character. It's almost like the author avoiding him (especially before spade arc) and i don't know why....
i mean Asta is the main character so... besides, Yuno had a lot of moments that overshadowed Asta like when he first used spirit magic vs Mars, or when he fought Rill and Asta can't do anything but watch. even in their 2v1 fight vs Licht, Yuno was doing 80% of the work. I'd say the major thing missing from Yuno as a character is that we don't get to see his training and why he's powerful. so it's almost like he's just plain talented, that's it, no effort unlike Asta. that's what the author should've fixed but it's too late now since the story is nearing its end
