Hello! I’m from Mexico and I lived in Germany a few years ago, in Saarbrücken, very close to Trier. I visited this city many times. Watching your video has made me very nostalgic. They are small cities in Germany but with a lot of warmth at home. Buena suerte Erica! ❤😊
Items that I no longer have any use for, but that are still quite presentable and that other people might be able to use, I also put on the sidewalk when the weather is nice and attach a note to it saying "Take me with you." It never stays longer than 1 hour on the sidewalk, but I also live in a big city.
I’m looking forward to hearing about where you end up, and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that you will be able to put your talents to work wherever you end up. Good luck to both of you. ❤
The censoring 😂 you're actually so cool haha honestly very relatable content I feel better knowing I'm not alone with my struggles 🥲 except the hot dog calendar lolllll
omg i wanna know where u went next! im watching your videos as if they were a tv series. so good! you make a video about the most boring town in the world and the most boring activity (moving) into an exciting video you wanna watch till it ends. this is EXTREMELY difficult. very good!!!! clap clap clap
Hi Erika, I just found your channel about a month ago and I love your work. I've watched all your videos and some more than once. Please don't keep us waiting for the next chapter. Give us interim updates on the community page! Best of luck to you!
I have been living in Germany for 24 years and have sort of gotten used to the mediocre peanut butter that they have here. I’ve been eating it for so long, I forgot what the good American peanut butter actually tastes like. Your peanut butter video and general peanut butter fandom inspired me to pick up a jar of JIF peanut butter from the American section of Nürnberg’s newest REWE. I had long since forgotten how much better it is. I was thinking of you when I got it and when I opened it today. Now I understand why American RUclipsrs go so crazy over peanut butter when they return to the States. I have you to thank for me rediscovering good peanut butter. And I have you to blame for the fact that I’ll probably be spending 6€ on peanut butter for the rest of my life. 😂 Good luck on your next adventure.
Me too. On a recent trip to America we stayed in a hotel chain that had single serving size Jif containers (disgusting excessive plastic packaging). Every day at the breakfast buffet I took a handful of them and put them in my purse. By the end of our trip I had a stockpile of tiny Jif containers. I'd forgotten how good Jif is and when I got back to Germany I went through them one per day and now they're all gone. I don't think our Rewe has Jif but I will check. I did the same with Taco Bell hot sauce packets. They let you take as many as you like so I came back with a boat load of them. It's not that I was a fan of Taco Bell, it's that the flavor of their hot sauce is so specifically "home" to me.
So suspenseful waiting to find out where you ended up. It’s been 2 months since you left and we only see a Malta vacation. Hurry up and reveal the next destination in your life. I’m anxious to see where Erika and her boyfriend brings her belongings to settle down?
Well done, Erika. Moving is an exercises on letting go and I completely identify with you in all aspects of your video. The packing, the selling, the give away...and that feeling of getting part of the city around the first year. Last week we came back to Rotterdam from a roundtrip and It hit-me for the first time: "I'm home". And indeed, it's close to one year we moved. All the best with your new endeavors and nice cliffhanger here, my family and I are looking forward to see where you'll end up :-)
Idk if you read this (i would recommend reading my comment under the Cochem video first, I just do what the RUclips algorithm tells me :D) but the Mother Roth chocolate is one of the best I know! Especially the Cranberry one!
I just binged like 5 of your videos because I HAD to find out where you lived in Trier (this sounds creepy af but hear me out). During the first video which youtube recommended to me I already got emotional just at the sight of Trier, because I used to live there in a flat with 4 dear friends and I miss that time a lot. And then I realized how uncannily familiar your rooms looked and that you moved in the exact time when we moved out last year. Which had me crazy, the possibility of such a coincidence. But this video gave me clarity and turns out, it‘s not the same flat xD but you only lived a few hundred meters away from us. And I would bet my a** it must be the same Immobilienfirma because of how similar the entire interiour looks. Anyway, maybe you enjoyed this short anekdote, I for my part enjoyed the few videos I just watched a lot, and not only for the Trier flashbacks. You have my subscription :) wish you all the best for your new journey!
Ich frage mich: Ist es die Pflicht des Mieters, die Wohnung im selben Zustand zu hinterlassen, in dem sie eingezogen ist? Kann ich alle Möbel hinterlassen, wenn ich die Wohnung verlasse?🥸
Hot dog calendar. I'm dying 😂❤
