During the nucleophilic attack of an carbanion at the carbonyl carbon of the another molecule of benzaldehyde . At that step there's a proton shift taking place ..in that you have to make the arrow shooting from negative oxygen to hydrogen instead of H to negative oxygen.

Hello... Thank you for pointing out that... But actually arrows are drawn always to show the movement of electrons even if it is a proton shift... It has to start at electron donor and point at electron receiver... This is the convention... You can check other material available for how to draw arrows.. you will get the same answer...
