that black circle/plunger part on my 05 2.3 is stuck closed, should I delete it or fix it? trying to chase this p2006 down and fix the misfire thats happening
Well the power gains come from the turbo. You might see 10-20-30 hp from this alone. But if you have a bigger turbo this intake manifold will allow you to make 500 wheel after it’s ported. With the right supporting mods of course
@@josuearroyo370 depends on what you're trying to do. I think you can run stock manifold and add port injection through a spacer between the throttle body. JMF allows for 4 additional injectors though if that's what you need to accomplish power goals.
Thanks bro i just got a speed 3 and when i got the timing chain and vvt done i will be doing this.🙂
Holly shit you know artem?! I just found that out it’s such a small world! Haha
the channel is going crazy Steven keep it up exited for the future
Steven has another vid explaining the power gains you can expect from this on his channel! Great content lately.
Thanks dude!
That's where I learned how to remove those dumb flaps and pnp my intake manifold!!
Nice thanks
Bro said, hex screws... which are actually Philips heads, and used a flat head to remove...
Words are hard, the right tool is even harder to find
Awesome! Thanks for sharing.
No worries dude! Glad you liked it

@@TripleJViDz probably just have to replace it
I think you need to evolve to a chest/head mount go pro
This was gonna be one of my plans when I replace my pvc valve
Oh sick! I’ll have more vids on it tomorrow so be ready!
So what type of power gains should you plan to see from port and polish?

@@StevenDevey ok got it. I have stock turbo but have debated port and polish factory intake. Thanks for explaining.
@@CBosridesandreviews it’s certainly worth doing. It’s not that hard and will increase flow and gas mileage
I noticed it pretty heavy when I installed my CST4 and pnp my intake manifold
Do I need to be tuned to do the VTCS delete?
Yup
If I do this but I'm already tune do I need to tune it again ?
Yes you need to tune always
After the vtcs delete will you need to tune to accommodate that ?
Yea for sure
@StevenDevey what do you tune for after doing thus? And can you do it with the cobb tuner??
What is the difference stock intake manifold and aftermarket intake
What do you mean? What are all the differences?
JMF manifold and stock
I try to buy a gas system for my mazdaspeed i need to buy JMF intake or i can use my stock intake manifold what you think

If I didn't live in California this would be done already

What does that even mean
