The dolls could not have found a better new home! What an impressive collection.
Thank you!
Lovely dolls. It's great seeing dolls that have been preserved so lovingly.
Beautiful dolls with two moms. 💕
Love this so much! The doll community is awesome. ❤️❤️❤️
The Queen of Skipper is back at it again 💗
I recall when Barbie came from mattel. Always loved the names Skipper and Midge. From ANN
They are fun names!
Hello! Nice yo meet you! Thank you very much for interesting video ❤
Thank you for watching!
What a wonderful experience! I believe you are the right person to take these dolls on their next journey😍 The extras are amazing!!! I love the Japanese eyes on the Skippers. I hope to see one someday.......congratulations!
Beautiful dolls you got and lovely clothes. Love the history and all the care the seller took with her dolls and articles. Just to help you with some of your comments on the clothes and accessories: In your little box, the mention of the first short nylon blue Barbie slip is instead a pair of panties that went with the long slip and a bra ( not a head band) in a pack. 1964 issues. The necklace is from "Arabian nights",. The plastic shape in the red velvet hat was just for the boxing, not to keep on the doll's head. The black 'bathing suit' is the ballet exercise outfit that goes with black tights. Thank you for sharing with us your beautiful acquisition. Happy collection time to you! :)
How wonderful ! Such a nice thing for you and the seller ! What a treasure !
Congrats with your dolly mail :-) Very cute blonde japanese Skipper doll. I would have been great if Mattel had made one with jetblack hair.
The Japanese skipper's eyes remind me of Penny Brite dolls. I am glad you found this owner and appreciated her wishes. Very nice collection! I used to keep doll shoes, accessories in Sucrets tin boxes. Antoid ? I think is the brand of little mints that come in a tin box to use for small accessories.
I always liked Skipper and her cute name.
I understand misumi compleatly i have no idea to whom i will leave my books and my dolls to, you are so lucky and i am sure that you were a good child also. ☺️🇨🇷
Interesting (or I would say 'sentimental') background story of those nice dolls ❤ I wish more ppl appreciate their childhood dolls.
These Skippers are Very cute and in such great condition. I am selling off some Barbies soon but this video and your previous one have me convinced to keep the Skippers.
The Skipper outfit "Land and Sea" came with white flats. I have it NRFB for verification. The brown round Barbie hat you had in your hand came with the "Sorority Meeting" outfit.
Loved this video. I LOVE Vintage Dolls. A couple years ago, I bought a lot off of EBay. The original owner wanted to make sure her dolls were going to a good home. I assured her that I always wanted to acquire Vintage Barbie’s & I have taken good care of her dolls. I was surprised that you have very few Vintage Dolls. Since I love Vintage dolls, I particularly love when you share your Skipper & her friends. Enjoy your new dolls. I know if I ever get an opportunity again, I will most certainly cherish any additional ones I acquire. Be well!
Wow! If she gets to watch this, I want to tell her how awesome her toys are and how impressed I am with the level of care she provided for them. As a child, I had a Janet Barbie I was quite obsessed with but I struggled to provide a proper African American family for her and I eventually became convinced she would have a healthier life in a collection with more dolls like her. I was so protective of her safety, I put the buyer through an extensive process to ensure she would be cared for. I totally sympathize with her desire that her blonde dolls remain together since they are blondes in a brunette world and need the identity affirmation of their special relationship. Its incredibly humbling when someone entrusts you to take over care for something of this age. If you fail to care for her dolls, they will disintegrate. She chose you so they could be assured care. You're clearly worthy in her eyes. Very special, all around.
That's an interesting and cute backstory. Love this and thank you for sharin
I have the same blond bubble cut copy, but her lips are faded, and also got the black bubble cut reproduction.
Great video! How do you identify older dolls? I’m having trouble figuring out what these dolls are I found in a lot on the internet. I have these red headed blue eyed baby Barbie dolls. Thanks!
Sometimes it takes a lot of googling. With Mattel dolls, you should be able to borrow some old reference guides from your local library, though, that could be helpful!
Beautiful Japanese Skipper dolls! I do have a Japanese Midge doll if you're interested in purchasing her to add her to your collection? The version of Midge that looks Japanese.
I have a question; are the Japanese Skippers made only for the market in Japan, or for all over the world because I thought this version with those pretty eyes were only made for the Japanese market.
They were only sold in Japan.
