My family and I were the ones in the purple car😅 We kept walking by at the show, but I am horrendously shy in person. When we were leaving my 10 year old spotted you both and was like "Mom just do it! Say Hi!!" I slowed the car down and im like "I can't do it!!" and my partner helped me out and yelled out the window 😂😭 I literally cant with myself sometimes. I'm so sorry if he startled any of you or the baby.🙏
love your doll haul ladies....especially the baby Jesus, I also like how much fun you both have together at the shows. I will be attending the National Doll Festival in Kansas City, MO this july

Hello ladies, I was there with my group of reborn collectors 😁.
I missed you there, but it’s probably because I was filming almost nonstop 🥴🙈.
I loved this show, it really was different than usual Kane county shows.
Connie Lowe’s exhibit and Stella and her friends were def a highlight for me. Really amazing dolls. I have never seen her work in person before.
I talked to few collectors and two ladies said they got there at 2am and there were 11 people before them signed on the list. Apparently there was a list and then people got their numbers in order they signed in. I used to go to estate sales and it was the same principle.
Def a lot of Barbie dolls at this show. So many limited editions and rares in boxes. I was stunned to see all amazing dioramas and miniatures. The Uglies booth and Cindy’s China Cabinet Dolls and Teddy bears were my faves. Cindy is such a sweetheart and so passionate about her work. So refreshing to see someone so excited even after almost 30 years of creating her dolls.

Oh also I was told by another RUclipsr few local vendors didn’t attend this show because they all went to Ohio show last week. My friend was disappointed she skipped Sunday’s show. She just got back from Ohio and was too tired.
Anyways, always a pleasure to watch your video ❤.

Hey there!! It’s always fun to see you guys and now the added fun in seeing your girls. (They are SO cute) Glad to see you found some new additions to the collection. I found a few things too.There was a lady selling an Annette Himstedt doll for half price which was a great deal and since these dolls are usually out of my price range, I was thrilled to bring her home. Another lady was pretty much giving her booth away so I took home a saucy walker doll for $3! And a small Tonner doll. Other than that, only small things. Lots of fun stuff to look at too. I really like seeing all the really old vintage dolls. (I always wonder if they are getting a lot of sales on these or lookers like me.) I really liked the Uglies booth and the lady with the REALLY tiny 3D printed dolls. Hope to run into you at Toy Fair. You never know what you’ll find there.
That looks like a nice big doll show. I'd love to travel to out of state doll shows some day.
I have a few Alexander Margarets in hard plastic. She does have a wonderful face. With her hair in braids like that, your doll could actually be meant to be Margaret O'Brien as Tootie in Meet Me in St. Louis.
Your no-bangs Francie reminds me that I bought a Mattel boxed repro AA Francie a few months ago at a consignment shop.
I like that you tell a 'one that got away' story at the end of this video. There's always one for every doll show, isn't there? My latest otga was a custom Blythe on eBay. She sold outright -- no auction -- for low 3 figures, and I had a shot at it, but I hesitated. It's *killing* me. lololol

Love all your finds! It was so fun to see what you got. It's also nice to see pictures of the show (I spotted myself in the crowd in that first photo, lol). As you know, I got a Chatty Cathy, the hard-face, pigtail version which I love. Also found a Tammy doll for $5--she had cut hair and missing fingers, but for that price I couldn't pass her up. I did buy last time from the dealer who had all the good condition, dressed Tammy dolls but didn't want to spend that much again, so it was great to find a bargain.
Sounds like so much fun ! I know what you mean about dolls you didn't get. I let an Elvis doll go at a show and went back to a sad, empty space. How do you moisturize a dolls hair ?

I can confirm, people were there at 3am. The gates for the fairground were open, and we had decent weather so that was a nice surprise. I was there with my husband and 3:15am and there were 6 people in front of us in line who got there at 3am. This was not my first Kane County show but this was my first Connie Lowe sales booth. I was told this common for her sales so we didn’t want to miss out. I loved the show, all the vendors, so fun!
