Hey Allison! Thank you for going and filming the doll show. Since I became disabled and not able to help my sister with the shows anymore I really miss seeing all the dolls. You always do a great job filming everything so I am happy to see that there was alot of dolls. I am glad there was a good turnout my sister always works so hard putting them together. I hope you had a good time. Thanks again and keep up with the great doll videos I really enjoy watching them!
Allison, I so LOVED all the Dolls💖💖💖💖💖 and Teddy Bears🧸🧸 in this video of the Asheville Doll Show!!! I have so many favorites like the The Doll that might be a Madame Alexander Doll @0:21 that looks like a 1970s Little House on the Prairie inspired outfit with the bonnet, the 1974 Drowsy Doll, Steiff Camel🐫 @ 13:26, The Toy Store Teddy Bears like the Black Bear 🐻seated saluting with its paw, the Baby Lion @ 4:25 with green eyes, 5:28 Doll with blue eyes in a long white dress, The 1950s Revlon looking Doll in the pink buttress and the pink with white lace in the skirt part of the dress, All the Barbie and Ken Dolls, The Patsy Effanbee Dolls from the 1920s to 1930s, Both Raggedy Ann Dolls, Anime looking Ball Jointed Dolls, and @ 10:01 the Blonde haired Doll with blue eyes dressed in a blue choir robe!!! However, there were also some beautiful bisque antique Dolls that were very beautiful and reminded me of what Linda at Rachel Hoffman's Doll shop would fix up and dress!! Thank you so much Allison for virtually taking us along to this adorable Doll Show🤗🤗😃😃💖💖💖💖💖!!!
🌷 Thank you Allison for sharing your convention adventure at the doll show. So many wonderful dolls, it was lovely to see such a variety of dolls too. Plus lots of Smart Dolls ❤😅.
I haven't been to a doll show in over twenty years, and it was much smaller than this, so I enjoyed the armchair tour. The variety of dolls is impressive. I wonder if there are younger people collecting the older dolls? I am fifty-years old and am not really interested in anything from before my childhood, with a few exceptions. I know that items like fine dinnerware and crystal that my mother and grandmother treasured are basically worthless now because Millennials have little space or disposable income. Basically, I'm wondering if many of those dolls are going to have a home in 10 to 20 years?
It's hard to say, we do see some young folks at some of the shows. I always considered myself a collector when I was young but I didnt have the means to go to a show like that, so I wasn't really able to start collecting more intensely until I was a little more financially stable in my late 20's - early 30s.
I almost didnt see that mrs beasley doll. N i never seen any crissy doll too. That was wierd not seeing any. I didnt see any bff inc dolls either. But all n all this was highly enjoyable❣
Is there a website that will list upcoming doll shows as this one so I can see if there are any near to me? Thank you. This was amazing!!!!I loved your cinematography too.
Thanks for sharing👍! I had to watch when I saw the thumbnail with my old Shirley Temple doll that I got when I was 3 years old but no longer have 😃 my faves were all the cool Barbie dolls 😍
Where does one go to sell a doll? I believe I have a rare doll .. I’ve not been able todo d another one like it. He is a 21 inch groom doll all decked out in his tuxedo with tails. He is a Madame Alexander in all original clothing & shoes. I’m thinking he’s from the 30’s- 40’s .. I also have the Wendy Ann bride doll that came with him in her original gown..... if anyone knows where I could find information on the groom or buyers I’d appreciate it. He really is a neat doll.
What a fun show! Thank you for filming it for us Allison. I love how many different types of dolls were available. A vast selection to please just about everyone, what a great show! 💜
