I defy anyone visiting a show to go home without one. I have only been to one show and was smitten. A delight to see these on your video. Tfs
I wish you could make an audio book, your voice is so calming.
Thank you! I think a lot of people would be put off by my Boston accent though!

Thank you Marie. The great thing about a doll show is you can find something you didn't even know you were looking for!

Thanks for your kind words! Are there doll shows where you live?

Thank you! Loved it! They don’t usually do doll shows near me so it was great to see one!
There are fewer and fewer around here too. Thanks for watching!
I would love to attend one of these doll shows.
This is a great place to get educated on Doll history.
So interesting- thank you for taking me on such a delightful journey!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hello there "Vintage Doll Collector" I just love your doll videos! I feel as the only girl inside my Neighborhood that enjoys vintage dolls. All of the "Girls" Now play with these things named "Pop-Its" Witch are just cheap, colored popping toys. I have two "Dianna Effner" Dolls. One is a "Rapunzel" Doll and the other is a "Snow White" Doll. I as well have a "Barbie doll" That is named "Whispering Wind" The doll was produced in the late 90's. I have as well an unknown "Ballerina Doll", and a "Golden Keepsakes" Mermaid doll. These are just a "Few" Of my Dollies. Keep up the good work! - Adria Velez Xx
Thank you for watching and thanks for your comment! Sounds like your collection is off to a good start! Dianna Effner dolls are beautiful.
@@vintagedollcollector4828 They are, aren't they? Even If I have published this comment nine months from now, I still love dolls, and still collect "Dianna Effner" Dolls.

Didn't see this video till now (August) but wanted to thank you for taking the time to film it. I really enjoyed seeing the dolls. The Ginny and Alexanderkins are some of my favorite.
The great thing about a doll show is there is something for everybody! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing
I've never counted my dollies, but I think I have about 200. I wish I had cases for all of them.
Toni dolls are my favorite I love them
Absolutely beautiful
I just love them all! Their wonderful.
Ooh I love that Lenci boy doll! My dream doll.
Thank you for taking me to the Doll Show with you! I miss going...there used to be a few regular ones here in the Bay Area, (SF, CA), but I'll have to check where the next nearest one is! Fun!
Another professionally done show and filming and narration! Thanking you for giving us a broad doll survey and fun facts along the way.❤
Thank you so much!
Love watching this..I have some scookums..i have traveling dolls..but I am getting old and I will have to sell..
This video is the best! Love your tour of a doll show! Could watch over and over! Thank you!!
Thanks for watching - do you have any doll shows out your way?
I haven't been to a doll show in years.... how fun!
Buying dolls online is convenient, but there's nothing like being able to see and hold them in person! Thanks for watching!
Wow beautiful😍
wow this is amazing
Oh this was so wonderful to see, thank you so much for taking us around, your voice is so nice and explaining the dolls as we pass was such a joy, I live in London UK and the fairs here are never like this now. Although we are now holding the 200 year of doll collection, this sunday Im going !!!!!! thank you from Linda in London xx
We don't have anywhere near as many doll shows as we used to in this area, so I feel it's important to support the few that we do have left. Thanks for watching!
Que de merveilles ♥ ♥ ♥
I collect only vintage Barbies and biblical figurines! Sophia Maria!💖
thank you so much. You did a great job showing us this Doll show.
Thank you for watching!
Perfect camera work and narration! Most doll show videos are awful. Shaky camera work, too hurried, distracting background noise. This was lovely and I really enjoyed it!
Thank you!
Hi I have a Helen kish doll priceless I like to trade for a walking doll brand doesn’t matter and Didn't see this video till now (August) but wanted to thank you for taking the time to film it. I really enjoyed seeing the dolls. The Ginny and Alexanderkins are some of my favorite
I love dolls ! People don't get my loving dolls and collecting some . My daughter wants me to sell them . How can you sell one of your kids ? I have about 40 of Marie Osmond dolls !!! love them !
I wish they would come to south Louisiana ! .
Good
Mooi
I enjoyed this doll show! I'm very interested in collecting. I live in Cape Cod and will follow your videos. You have good information.
Hi Jane, Thanks for your comment, I'm working on a new doll show video right now. Are you a UFDC member?
Vintage Doll Collector. No, but I'm interested.
Region 15 of UFDC includes northern New England and Massachusetts. Susan Voake is the Regional Director, and she's awesome. You can read her latest newsletter here: www.ufdc.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/fall-2018-newsletter-region-15.pdf

Dont sell, pass those beautiful dolls down the family line
Awesome doll show. I love collecting dolls. I hate it when some people advertise them as creepy or haunted.
I have a question for you. What timeline are doll clothing made from? i asked my teacher and google and neither popped up. I have one that has porcelin and stuffing and she has a pink gown with white lacing. Also a bonnet.
Dolls (and doll clothing) have been made commercially for two hundred years, and home made for longer than that. But it sounds like you probably have a porcelain collector doll made sometime between the 1980s and now. Thanks for watching!
thank you for sharing these wonders!
what is this doll at minutes 10 and 20 seconds?
I understood "Nate estate doll" is that it? I searched but I did not find anything, can you inform me?
thank you!
Luka, that is an Annette Himstedt doll. Her vinyl dolls were widely collected from the late 1980s into the early 2000s. Thanks for watching!
Enjoyed the video, but it would be nice if you would put the year of the shows in your videos
You're right, I guess I never thought people would still be watching the video years later! This was in 2018.
@@vintagedollcollector4828 well I only recently discovered this channel. Not a big social media person, but so far this channel is very informative
Looking for Ann Shirley. I have my mother’s, but it’s in pieces.
By in pieces, do you mean she is broken? Or that she has come unstrung? They aren't hard to restring.
Get her fixed. RUclips has videos.
Oh, I loved this video. Are you permitted to give us some of the prices?? I would love to know how much the antique dolls cost.
Unfortunately I recorded this video several years ago, so can't help with prices.
I love this video! Who's the maker of the doll at 3:07? The boy doll. Thanks :)
That is a Lenci doll. Isn't he wonderful?
@@vintagedollcollector4828 He is! He stood out to me out of all the dolls you featured. Just getting into doll collecting and this was a wonderful introduction to the wide collection of dolls available. Thank you :)

Where is this vintage doll show plz
It was in Dedham, MA at the Holiday Inn. The next one is coming up April 5, 2020. If you go to dollshowusa.com you can find doll shows near you.
Our friend has CAROLINE KENNEDY'S Raggedy ANN DOLL"; WITH THE FIRST LADIE'S LIPSTICK PRINT ON THE APRON!!!!! (Jackie KISSED IT, WHEN IT FELL DOWN THE WHITE HOUSE STAIRS!). THE KENNEDYS WERE CONTACTED BY MAIL, BUT NO RESPONSE......WHO CAN SHE CONTACT ABOUT SELLING IT TO A COLLECTOR?
Sorry to be so late with this reply. If your friend has some kind of provenance showing that it was Caroline's doll, it would go well on eBay or through an auctioneer who specializes in dolls or in Kennedy memorabilia.
Why nobody doesnt want to help me with a Reborn boy doll opened eyed
I don't know why, but these kind of dolls are more scary to me than ventriloquist dummies since the eyes are sort of shrunken into their metal heads. My grandmother has some dolls like the ones with the light blue and white dresses with the white china heads and the shrunken-back eyes that literally inside their heads. I'm always creeped out by those when we visit as a family for Christmas.
HELLO THERE I HAVE A REPO GOOGLY MARKED "GERMANY JDK 221 "BCB" 1982 I CAN FIND NO REFER. FOR THE BCB MARKINGS CAN YOU HELP???
Making porcelain reproductions of antique dolls was a popular hobby in the 1980s. "BCB" is very likely the initials of the person who made her in 1982.
Hi I have a Helen kish doll priceless I like to trade for a walking doll brand doesn’t matter.
Marta, the best place to find somebody to trade with you is to join one of the many doll collecting groups on Facebook.
Are the antique dolls intended for children during their time? They look fragile for a toy.
That's why they are rare now despite being made by the millions - so many of them got broken.
You sell dolls
Can you get me a newborn baby?
