Buying a motorcycle to me give you your independence. Me being a shy person it gave me courage to meet new people
When I ride I feel joy, or adrenaline, or peace, or high awareness... and I never feel boredom. I love riding :-)
I don't have a bike but 1 reason is because you can stop anywhere when you see something cool, a car you gotta find a spot and walk to it.
I love riding if only because the second I sit on my bike it just feels like all the weight in the world is gone. It's just me and the world around me. It's hard to genuinely explain to someone who hasn't experienced it.
Reason to Ride: if theres more riders than there is less car drivers. This means that even if a rider drives a car they will be a more cautious driver and aware of fellow motorcyclists on the road
Answering your last question...
Just because you want it! That's it. Why you want it it's your own, personal business.
As you said, nobody else will tell you why or if you'll get one.
You want it, you go for it.
Nobody can stop you, nobody can tell you you can't have it or whatever bs.
That goes for anything in life.
Riding is excellent for stress management, 2-3 times per week clears your head nicely. And when not possible to go out, there is always JMG videos.15' Vic Vegas. 👍🏻

As a californian motorcycle enthusiast (lol) nothing is more satisfying then being im bumper to.bumper stop go traffic on freeway and lane splitting just passing cars like as if there wasn't traffic. Sometimes ill go an exit or two pass my exit just to pass more cagers and make them frustrated stuck in traffic

I’ve just turned 50 and I think I need to finally scratch that itch.
On the parking aspect. I was in a walmart lot & asked a police officer if i could park in the "yellow" lined area. He said that they usually do not care about that on private property. I have used it lately but try to leave space if someone would need it. 👍🏽

Thanks. I don't mean it as an analogy though. Riding in the right places puts your mind in the right place to observe all that is great about being alive. Few churches can do that. He is out there, nonetheless.
Some great reasons, last week was the first time I had driven my car since around November last year. And the only reason I got it going was that I want to get some work done on it

Im a welder. My parents keep saying get a truck incase your car break down or carry a tool box which i never used. I understand that but they see I made my car look a lil sporty and know i like sporty things. My dad dont want me messing with my car because he like everything stock. I mean he did buy the car so I have to respect that. They see I wanna work on my car and mod stuff to make it better.
Im bored of life and dont understand the point of life if you always gotta struggle and deal with people down talking you everyday.

There are some bikes that are cheap for what they are, the suzuki RF900 is one of them as you're able to get them for around a grand and they were Suzuki's answer to the fireblade.

More surprising would have been stuff like going grocery shopping on a motorcycle. Or fishing. Or camping. Stuff people wouldn't associate with a motorcycle. Think outside the box a little.

Unfortunately CA is the only State you can legally lane split. But all the rest and more, motorcycle riding is just the best.

I don't own a MC yet, but I am currently studying marine engineering. My reasons for owning one would be:
1. Add a bit sweetness to life
2. Maintain the maintenance knowledge
2.1. it is more accessible to repair (but i don't know the price difference between car and MC parts for maintenance)
3. If you can fix a MC, you should be able to fix a bike. And this is great if you're living in a area where bikes has become more popular
4. Understand how fragile recklessness can be. (My brother experienced a accidence due to being reckless)
5. Community
6. Because you saw captain America drive one

Get a CDL you will never make minimum wage. I been living comfortable for 2 years now with my girlfriend. I got my Licence back in 2020 when I was 21.
