Been a Metallica fan for over 30 years now. Listening to the Blacklist songs one by one, this is one of the best so far in my opinion. It is creative, it makes sense musically, it just fits, well done, never heard of Biffy Clyro before, but this is fantastic.

I was lucky I grew up in Glasgow in the early 2000's so I knew them well. Duff McKagan more or less wrote an entire chapter of his second book because of Biffy -'Bands you haven't heared but are excellent'. He toured with them in the mid 2000's and couldn't believe they weren't superstars globally. I recommend their 3rd album 'Infinity Land' plus the b-sides if you are just dipping your toe in. Wave Upon Wave, Kids from Kibble, Bonanzoid Deathgrip. Check out any of their live shows in Glasgow [Barrowlands specifically]. Thank me later.
Having listened Ghost's rendition in this album...I really think Biffy sounds like what Ghost needed to sound like, and also I think Ghost would've made an AMAZING version with Holier Than Thou, more than with Enter Sandman...fits them way more. This cover is amazing.

Some of you people don’t get that this is meant to be a cover song , not karaoke 🎤! Biffy have added their weirdness to it and made it theirs, whether you like it or not. I think it’s very original and loved the doom metal bit at the end 🤘🏻
