Senna was a god in F1 for years, Brazilian born, probably the best driver ever, look up footage of his driving, its absolutely MENTAL the speed these guys drove at with such little protection. 3million people attended his funeral in Brazil
Even though he passed in 1994 in a very tragic F1 racing crash, he is still considered The G.O.A.T of motor racing by most racing drivers, engeniers, chief crews and team bosses in the whole world until this day. What a Legend!
When Metaljesus or Reggie said he was famous in Brazil, I was surprised.
He is a racing legend, known all over the world maybe not as famous nowadays but still 1 of the best drivers ever. Died too young and still had a lot of records despite having a shortened career...
But F1 isn't as important in the US so I shouldn't be so surprised

I've finished Metroid Dread a few times, both on Normal and on Hard mode, I'd say don't worry about using parry on the EMMI's. Throughout playing through the game I've been able to parry the EMMI i think once or twice in total. Try to be as stealthy as possible. Definitely my game of the year :)
When you say "stealthy" does that mean moving slowly so they don't notice you?
@@MetalJesusRocks Depends on the room/emmi. For the early ones you can run through and generally survive if you know the direction. Don't be discouraged if you die learning the route, I did that allot.
For the later one, a bit of patience and stealth mode invisibility is required at times. That includes sometimes standing still and hoping not to be discovered.
Yep I finished the normal mode as well. It was a great game and you get a real satisfaction when you complete it. Don’t worry about parrying the EMMI. Just avoid and use stealth mode when necessary.
It really feels like your not suppose to be able to pary them.

Ayrton Senna was a Brazilian driver, 3 times Formula 1 champion who tragically died in 1994 in Italy during a race.
Since then he has become a national hero, mainly for his social work work which is now supported by his sister helping those most in need.

I have to say. Knowing MJR might not see this. But 2 weeks ago I found this channel and every single day I've been watching all of his videos. I genuinely think this guy's awesome and love this content. Raw IRL Journey of gaming/collecting. Love this channel and it's inspired me to start collecting again. Started with PS2 games. (Also managed to get hold of a mint condition Atari Lynx 2).

Brazillian fan here - Ayrton Senna is was one of the best Formula 1 racers of all time - arguably the best. Unfortunately his carreer was cut short by a fatal F1 accident.
Lady Terminator is fucking hilarious. Reggie just went up even more in my book for that one! Mondo Macabro puts out amazing b movie schlock films, mostly ones made in Asia..and man they're great.

Metroid Dread, the game tells you early on that if you get caught, you have a 90% chance of getting powned. So I'm pretty sure it's a design choice. The timing of the parry seems pretty random. You're not supposed to ever get caught in the first place. I agree it's frustrating though.
Yeah essentially the only successful EMMI parries I had were guesses. You aren't supposed to be able to parry them at will, you can parry everything else including bosses though. For the EMMI parts you have to learn the area, places to hide, or correct paths they want you to take until you can take them down. Getting a successful parry on an EMMI was never part of my 'gameplan.'

For me a lot of the fun of gaming is the collecting part. I probably enjoy opening the parcels more than actually playing some of the games I get, so thanks for sharing these videos.
Plus its always good to see a few games I might have missed in the videos from some of your's or Reggie's Pick ups.

I beat Metroid and I have my fair share of issues with it (mainly the map being really confusing to me so I'd get lost all the time) but I thought the parrying worked just fine. The E.M.M.I.s are meant to be tough to parry but it's so satisfying when you pull it off and the rest of the enemies have a pretty generous parry window.

I was thinking those enemys in Captian Camando looked like Final Fight enemys while watching the gameplay and then you said it's in the same universe. I LOVED Final Fight when I was a little kid so I now I gotta check this out. Glad you showed this off.

Metroid dread was my first metroid game I've ever played for more than 30 minutes and I beat it. There were super hard parts but beating it was one of my most rewarding gaming experiences of the year. The game says you aren't really supposed to parry the Emmis. I think it says the chance is almost none it will work so stay away from them.
One of the best if not the best video I've seen over Xmas period. Loads of ideas for purchases now. thanks

Reggie, that KoF 2002 Unlimited Match limited edition Neo Geo shock box is badass! I love it! I love even more that companies are paying homage to SNK's Neo Geo by recreating the Neo Geo AES's shock box to hold those big cartridges. Hope you enjoy it man!

I heard you can also burn calories with games that just get your hearth rate up. So maybe get some scary games going! :) either way, I wish you luck. It’s not an easy thing to do for many of us.

On metroid dread, the timing of the parry is random, if you get it it’s pure luck. It’s basically a game over screen, you really shouldn’t let the emmi get to you ;)

Senna was an F1 driver who is basically the greatest all time not by numbers(L.H) but by sure passion and drive willing to put his hands in his christainity faith with love he was an amazing man that we all should look up to tragically he died in 1994 at Imola racing with Williams but he was just a lap ahead of all of us...........

Playing what you want when you want sounds like the best way to go
I typically do two things: 1) Play what I want for fun and 2) Play games for RUclips videos. All those Collection videos or Hidden Gems video, I typically play and capture all the footage for. But then at night I'm also playing stuff that just piques my interest. It's all good
disagree on GOTG, think the combat is pretty good and if Star-Lord was too strong it would just feel like God of War with guns.
That first Dreamcast game looked like a mixture of Bangai-O and Super Metroid! Chorus looks great! Love me a good space game!
