Micho Russell (Introduced by Johnny Dunleavy and Paddy Skerrit Fitzpatrick)

This music was recorded at a kitchen dance at Dunleavy's in Doolin, 1960. This was prior to the emergence of Doolin as a well known mecca for traditional music. The local musicians featured in this recording played a huge role in keeping the traditions alive and in turn passing on their music and traditions to future generations. They also contributed immensely to making Doolin such a well known area for Irish music and culture.
