  • www.thehealthytrucker.net | If you stop at a truck stop, you might think it's impossible to eat healthy. However, if you know what to look for, it's easy to choose items that are better for your body. In this video, health expert Eric takes us inside a typical truck stop to see what healthy foods are available to truck drivers - and what foods you should avoid. Eric also explains why each item is good or bad for you so you can make better choices if you have to shop at a truck stop and find food to take over the road.
Eric's top truck driver eating tips:
Find food at the truck stop that's rich in protein and nutrients.
    Avoid sugar whenever possible.
Read the label - something might look healthy, but it may have more sugar than you think!
Think about the foods you'll eat instead of grabbing the first thing you see.

I load my fridge up with water, fruit, veggies which I eat raw.
If you peel and freeze two super ripe bananas, blend them with any other fruit, a half a cup of coconut milk, or almond milk, or whatever you like,a half teaspoon of vanilla extract, add protein powder if you want,,and you have one super healthy and super tasty smoothie.
