My mother's "longhand" writing was stunning, even with the modern day ballpoint. She learned her "Palmer Method" technique while attending 3rd and 4th grade public school, rural area of eastern Kansas, during the early '20's.
@shanthistella708 Think of it like a stick moving while touching the paper, it will make sound because you're grazing the paper. Now with a fountain pen almost the same thing except there is now ink flowing. 😊
Thank you for all you do to bring to the foreground and attention upon the lost art of putting hand to paper! Spencerian script and Calligraphy practice exercises help me make my daily drawing form exercises practice more captivating.
What is amazing with all of these channels that I look at with calligraphy people don’t understand that it’s cursive in a very flamboyant style. absolutely elegant absolutely beautiful learn cursive, then go to calligraphy, if you’re not of that generation, who hasn’t learned cursive
In a world of mesmerising souls. it's lovely to meet you. I am literally feeling the aura of your compassion through your art. I wish your journey to be beautiful as well as miraculous. 💙
@@baga-calligraphynew subscriber!! now I know you're using a huge nib much larger than what I would want. may I ask what size nib is needed to where I can *begin* to get that calligraphy look or more of the "Personal Touch" where you see discrepancies of Thin and Thick lines to make it look unique & "old fashioned" but still a nib I can use for everyday at our firm for work papers. if that makes any sense? I wouldn't want a big calligraphy nib like you have for my office paperwork with a fine and extra fine I can't get the look of the thinner and thicker lines. think of John Hancock and the Declaration of Independence- that style of writing where you can tell it was handwritten and very unique with a quill/fountain pen. Would a medium nib do the trick or what comes after medium for a writing style where you can tell it was written with a fountain pen & it has character but still appropriate for the office? cheers!
That tiny tiny very missable wiggle in the F would make me throw the whole thing in the bin 😂😂 i wish i had it in me not to because it still looks very satisfying to look at.
Practice not perfection helps develop skills at this. It has worked for me in art as I approach my art school daily forms and shapes practices, and they improve my sketching, doodling, Zentangles, abstract and Neographic attempts.
You know what you said is bullshit, right? Cuz as far as everybody including you knows, everything can be learned, so if you really really really want something, there is no force in the world that can stop or prevent you from doing it.
I remember 2 decades ago at school we got those for free to learn how to write. I would break one every month. Because i liked to press really hard on them for some reason😂
I taught myself how to do calligraphy when I was like 13 and I loved it but I've never used a fountain pen before, usually I just use a chisel tip marker, but after seeing this vid I'm definitely gonna buy one now.
Where can I buy that pen ? I would really appreciate it it if you can let me know the name of it or post a link looking forward to your reply. Amazing handwriting
I used to have a caligrophy pen when I was young and precticed many times. It's a lost art. Also a wax kit to seal envelopes with family crest. Classy way to communicate. Unfortunately US mail was not good at delivering. Will pick it up again one day i hope. Thanks for posting this. Good memories.
You're extremely talented, I can sense that it is more than caligraphy. It is like music or poetry. It is more than words. It is like language with an accent.
My handwriting is terrible, but I never used a Calligraphy pen before. I need someone to teach me how to write Calligraphy letters. I love how neat, elegant and clear the letters are. Thanks
Her not getting roles had nothing to do with her race! Halle Berry ? Zendaya? Zendaya even auditioned for roles that were originally white (I think chani in dune was white but MJ was definitely white) and they’ve both had amazing careers!
You write better than I can type on a typewriter

Beautiful cursive. Well, it’s kind of a mix but still it’s pretty.
What is font? It's so beautiful! How should I learn it? Please release a video tutorial, I'm looking forward to it.
