This is the BEST portable ice maker review I have watched. Most people just repeat the features which I can get from reading a product description or they talk about what they like about the item they already purchased without having anything to compare it to. Your attention to detail is great.
I have a manufacturer rebrand of the "Igloo" ice maker (which itself uses the same parts as the Kingswire and iKich) , but it has a severe long-term weakness worth taking note of. If it runs out of water, it will turn off the fans and leave the internal peltier cooling system running. This can cook the exhaust fan and cause the refrigerant in the cooling pipes to expand. Mine only lasted 3 months before the expansion caused a refrigerant leak this morning and killed the machine. It no longer produces more than 1 tiny ice cube at a time.

UPDATE: I GOT THE EUHOMY AND ABSOLUTELY I LOVE IT!!! I WANTED CLEAR HARD ICE..I PUT THE ICE IN A ZIPLOC BAG AND GIVE IT A WACK ON THE COUNTER..BREAKS THE ICE IN ONE SHOT..PLUS BEING CLEAR IT LASTS A LONG TIME IN DRINKS AND MELTS A LOT SLOWER!!! great video ...I just purchased the Euhomy...(hasn't come yet) I want a clear solid ice that won't melt fast... the cloudy bullet ice will melt faster since it isn't as solid

Watched this video 2 years and bought the Crownful which was the new version of the Dreamiracle in this video. Both are discontinued now. A friend wanted to get an ice maker like ours and I found the same model under the brand name Costway. It's an awesome ice maker, we even take it camping with us in the fall every year.

Browsing RUclips for pellet ice makers, I found your channel and really enjoyed your comprehensive review of these portable ice makers. In future video reviews, it would be good to mention if ice makers have water filters. Although I love Sonic-type ice, the flavor of the ice (kind of a reverse-osmosis taste) makes for a great tasting drink but one can also enjoy the infused flavored drink in the ice which provides a very satisfactory way of finishing all of your drink of choice.
Great video and thank you for taking the time to do them. I purchased the $99 Insignia portable ice maker a few days ago, and the ice is not that bad. I am thinking of taking it back only because of its noise. Keeping this machine plugged in on your kitchen counter is way too loud.

I've had a couple of different ice makers including the Opal (which stopped making ice after about a year). I am replacing it with the Euhomy. From what i can tell, it has the best cleaning process

We are having issues with our ice maker in our new Whirlpool (Maytag) refrigerator and I’m tired of calling the service people out just to say there’s nothing they can do. Just because you pay $2800 for a top line refrigerator doesn’t mean every feature is a quality product. Enough whining on my part and we are excited to try a counter top ice maker. Thanks again!
Be careful with that Whirlpool ice maker. My original stick open the water valve and flooded the kitchen. The insurance company covered the expense of replacing the laminate flooring that warped. Whirlpool sent a guy out and he replaced the ice maker. About 4 months later the same thing happened. That time the insurance company refused to pay for the flooring. I gave up on the ice maker and bought a counter top unit. I have a bin in the freezer that I dump the ice in after it's made

Yeah I wouldn’t bother getting a icemaker for my countertop unless it was fuzzy ice. So I am experimenting with my new fuzzy ice machine right now pure distilled water not a good idea no minerals so it’s kinda dense and not as fuzzy. So now I’m trying half filtered and half distilled. I don’t wanna have to do all filtered, but I will get the perfect consistency. Thank you again for all your help your help.
Based on this video, I decided that the E-EUHOMY-Maker-IM-F-Series was the ice maker for me. Pure square ice instead of bullets? Yes. Don't mind breaking up the ice before using? Sounds fine! Don't mind paying a little more for the pure square ice? Yes that's me. I love the fact that this video went into detail to explain the tradeoffs I am making so that I am empowered to make the decision that's right for me.

I just got this ice machine. The ice cube is more clear than this because I used water bought from water store, not refrigerator’s water. It is a good ice cube machine.

I just bought an IceMan, self clean. I have never had one so I do not know if you turn it off at night?
So you can eat the bullet ice. And I do prefer the sonic ice so which one is the cheapest out of The ones that make sonic ice
