Yes, it really is.. I dont know why people do it.. would ave been wonderful if this abandoned house would have been preserved and respected by people having a look inside. It is actually being gutted..so maybe the house will be brought back to life or maybe knocked down. It does look to have alot of structural damage.
Young people smash things up for no reason. I remember going for a romantic walk as a teen, with a boy who was absolutely lovely until we came to an abandoned cottage. He wanted to go in, so we go in and I'm like Aww, this is so beautiful. He opens the built in cupboard next to the chimney wall and it's full of those glass chimneys you put on oil lamps. He starts dragging them out and smashing them on the floor. I had to cover my ears and eyes, glass flying everywhere. To this day I still feel angry and despairing over that he did. Never spoke to him again. So sad. Edited to say this was somewhere in Rainford, Merseyside
Wow, a great find, although the place is completely trashed, such a shame ,interesting to see and watch though! Crazy to see the old tape cassettes too, thanks for sharing!
Yes, really interesting, and makes you so curious on why it's been abandoned like that..such a shame people have trashed it..must of been fascinating when people discovered it, before it was trashed..stunning location too!
Just wondering what's the post code for the abandoned houses were you went in Pendle hill cause me and girl friend wants to go we live not far from there
This is on Pasture Lane Barrowford..you can see it as you drive up, as the fields start..its all been emptied now..you can still pictures as the footpath goes past it.
I suppose they would have been used by farm labourers at one time. To sell on they would need better access but I would have thought they would make good holiday cottages

Hi, sorry for the late reply..I have been away, and just getting through all the comments.. this house is in Barrowford on Pasture Lane.. it is a mystery to why the house was left the way it was..I have never seen one with everything left inside.. Barrowford and surrounded area is steeped in history.. Barrowford is the village where the witches started their long walk to Lancaster to meet their infortune fate..have you clicked my Abandoned houses playlist? There is an amazing abandoned farm house, a few fields away from Pendle Hill..literally in the middle of no where, with no roads too it 🏚
