I appreciate her so much! Look how this black woman owns the room, confident, direct, understanding and just funny af lol , a queen and I’m here for it!
Agree. Those qualities are what the current ESPN has lost! Today's ESPN women are younger with that strong presence! Outside of her career, as a woman, I see Cari Champoin as everything a man could want.
And damn beautiful
She went wrong right where she said “no I didn’t listen to him “. That right there is a major problem in our community. SHORT ATTENTION SPANS , AND PRE JUDGEMENT. Without even using her own eyes and ears she made an automatic judgement about Kevin Samuels. RIP KS
Agreed. As soon as i heard her say that, i knew whatever she has to say after that would be BS and would make excuses for the stereotypical "loud black woman". Kevin Samuels was trying to improve lives for the black community & black women in general but they dont want to listen.
She's lying. She brought his name up. If she never listened to him she wouldn't have went out her way to bring his name up. She just didn't wanna give him any credibility by bringing his name up because she's a left wing feminist, which means she's TOXIC!
Frfr she said no then proceeded to prove all Kevins point right smh while falsely talking like she actually cares for the devide but yet shut her ears down when it comes to men yet tells men we need to work together and listen I hate this type of person cause all it is, is talk they just talking and nothing else not doing not acting on anything just saying shit to say it smh if you are blind deaf and mute to others problems no one will be there for yours that's why we need to be open even if we don't like it or disagree cause at the end we all trying to get together right how's that gonna happen if your not side by side I say this to even men ther most but their the only ones that listen smh
The sad part is she is supposed to be a journalist
@@Willy_Jean but yet wonders why if she messes up she losses credibility it's nothing to do with her being a women it's about the attitude she brings to work and life when she clearly has no full interests in things she seems to mess up big time when it comes to those jobs and moments in life I think a lot of women got to realize a lot of those men they speak on that are in a higher position isn't cause their a man cause then their position would be so easy to get those men have a full interest ing the jobs they have and a passion towards it so when they mess up we know it comes from a good heart like Steven a Smith he always gets hate for what he says but when he shows loves people also see the side where he cares about the job and the position and is passionate about it so in the end it shows character to the person at the top these women show no care and genuine love in these sports and jobs men are mainly at then get mad that they aren't at the top but never look at what the women that are at the top and in those positions act or are like and how they look at the position they just don't get it people are people we will feel a less genuine interest into the things we are in and that effects your position I've seen women who have always been into sports all there life and not just gym class and sitting out most tod the time unless it's something chill like stretching and some fun sports the class plays cause I notice their are a lot of women like that which is weird to me but seems to be the case but the women that watched sports played them was a super fan of sports tend to get very far in position of sports it just depends on their up bringing if they got a dad that always pushing them in sports they tend to be more interest in it and of course if their mom is into sports that will push them more into it and to get in higher postions but those women see that even the men get a high level of stress from the job it's not them if she's talking S.A. then I get it she right it hard for women but even the women do it to they need to call out all forms of it now cause I think this generation is now coming to a understanding we all go through bull and need to talk and listen to eachother fully and understand eachother and work w/o them our understandings but it seems theirs still push back on that unfortunately
Man the way she spoke on Kevin Samuels and no man there corrected her is a clear example of men who don’t hold women accountable for things they say. He never verbally attacked BW he listed the facts, he also listed to facts on men too and held men accountable who called in with unrealistic life expectations.
She was disrespectful about Kevin, and she was also ignorant about his content. And these brothers reacted more like her girlfriend vs confident black men. Women who have Cari’s attitude is an example why so many black men are walking away from black women in general.

I have a lot of respect for Nick Young answering Cari's question about black women being angry. NBA players aren't scared of backlash and politics like NFL players. Brandon tryna derail and got Pacman quiet.

Agree 100%
I work CC and will take care of our kids 😍 seriously I love how strong she is and supportive of US she is we need to support her and our women
Kevin Samuels held black women accountable for their actions just like he held black men accountable for 3 years prior to the average at best video, and he went way harder on black men than he ever did to black women.
This might have been the BEST show you have ever had. This is and was REAL CONVERSATION between Black men and women!!!

@@vdf27 She should be cel rating her success not crying about the rich kid she doesn’t even know- Victimhood limits you like carrying revenge around in your heart-it will eventually suffocate you
Really? Do we really need more masculine black women with bad attitudes?
Not really. It's just another "oppressed" black woman complaining to black men that's not supposed to push back on her bs..
This is why we should watch full episodes. The clips on the gram didn’t give Cari her just due. The fellas did an excellent job as well. Very insightful points from everyone.
This was the best episode, so far. Thank you Cari! 🙌🏽
I HATE WHEN MEN ACT SCARED TO CHALLENGE A WOMEN 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️ this conversation needed to go much deeper, not letting Cari just control the whole narrative as if she’s just some genius that knows everything 🫤🫤
They couldn't go deeper because they're not that deep. Wrong host for depth.
Cari Champion threw up her own alley OOP and broke the backboard in this interview. The absolute best so far.
Car never listened to Kevin Samuels but had a problem with what he said? Huh? One man goes on social media holding women accountable for once, and some of these women acted like accountability is there kryptonite. 😂
Swaggy P is TOO REAL! He said all the things I would've said if I was there and I LOVE how he didn't back down. If Serena is the greatest ATHLETE of all-time (we know she's the greatest female Tennis player), then let's see her play multiple sports like Deon, let's see her jump higher than MJ! Then walks off when she says hee favorite person she's worked with is a White man after talking all this pro-Black stuff. Swaggy P is TOO REAL YO! Get that man his own podcast!! 😆
Well lol let’s see Jordan, Deon win the Australian Open while over 35 years old and pregnant. Come back after having a baby and still breastfeeding to make it into the finals battling through 6 ppl head on
Lol I get the arguments however….. at the same time…. She’s in the conversation for a reason. Don’t completely disregard or diminish her. No one is saying she can outrun Deon or out-jump ajordan but she is doing and winning as much and more than the greatest men in sport and while being a mother-which is something a lot of these men could never do bc for one -they are so self involved. No dis just saying
They played team sports, so I don't think they should be in the conversation

She's never listened to Kevin Samuels content. She only knows what her girlfriends have said. But she's concluded that she doesn't like his message. Not very intelligent.

Great conversation with Cari on the workings of how the big media corporations work, and even better conversation about the tension amongst black people in the world of relationships. Very informative episode here
These tensions start in the broken home. There put out in the environment and media. No one takes accountability. Everyone is a victim.
Man these guys aren't versed well enough to have this conversation with her. They missed so many points to crush her arguments I'm disappointed.
"I never listened to him but I know I don't like his work!" Proceeds to give a strong opinion lol. Does this women even hear herself?
Cari is absolutely glowing! Especially her knees
Gentlemen, you all should've corrected her regarding her Kevin Samuel statements. She admitted that she never watched his content therefore she used anecdotal evidence and spoke from a position of ignorance. She used a Jedi mind trick on you guys and she should've been checked for speaking out of pocket about black men and for perpetuating a lie without evidence.

1st off: Always tuning in to Cari Champion, She always bring value for me to the Room
I have to say this, Nick Young showed Me why He’s on this show in this Episode.
Swaggy P was on a loosing tail for a whole hour of the conversation but the comeback with his convo contribution about objecting Brandon’s opinion on Serena the GOAT “athlete” and him nailing that dagger buzzer beater with the “black power” line on Cari Champion.. was ubelievably super epic !!!!😁😁

This is the biggest conversation in my personal opinion this show ever had.
It's very deep..
I used to love this woman. Kevin Samuels spoke on the dynamic between both black men AND women. Men took his words in consideration, while a large group of women took his words in offense. I urge Ms. Champion to at least listen to what Kevin Samuels was trying to say before criticizing him based on the stigma surrounding his broadcasts. Otherwise, great show guys. Because we can easily judge Ms. Champion over the stigma surrounding her remarks from the Nate Robinson fight...

The Topics were Great! I do feel there could have been more depth to the conversations. The Foundation of Black Love is simply equivalent to Growth of a plant. Some may need more water or sunlight vise versa, but you study & learn the wants a needs for Growth. Case in point, You went out and chose that “ Specific plant” now tend to it. Yes it’s an uncomfortable conversation, but you can learn so much from uncomfortable conversations. Thank you Swaggy for being honest and open to the conversation. I feel like Pac-Man tried but Brandon made him nervous to answer the question.
Brandon was extremely quiet on the topic of domestic violence. I didn’t forget that he was at Broward General with a stab wound from his wife.🫣

She’s down and out now, when she was up and powerful she wasn’t so political. Keep that same energy ms champion
I think the conversation went well and had a great flow to it. However with someone like a Cari Champion being so insightful and well spoken it needed another person there that could push the topics more with Cari to take it to another level. She basically controlled every conversation and at the same time gave everyone a chance to speak. It’s never a good look when the guest is controlling the interview. You could definitely tell who was the professional journalist and who is doing it part time

I agree with the first part of your statement 100% but (to the 2nd part) I liked the fact that she controlled the conversations since the show is about her and imo these shows should be about the guest with the host steering the show with great questions. Also Cari is the only journalist on the show which, to your point, made it glaringly obvious amongst 3 athletes.
She controlled it because the hosts are not smart or articulate….these dudes are dumb

You have no clue what that person actually thinks or believes, and you don’t know how much the tiktoker actually has seen. If you haven’t heard someone, the responsible, prudent, measured, adult, MATURE response should be i don’t know about them, I haven’t seen him personally.
In a world where everything is at our finger tips, you hear someone say something about Biden or Trump, people just assume what they hear is true….GO watch the 3 minute vid yourself if you are going to now call that person a racist for the rest of your life. At least, give that person that little amount of just humanity.
What everyone will find is that the disagreements are much smaller than people could ever imagine, if they exist at all.
Everyone can choose not to invest there time into listening to someone because someone they trust told them it wasn’t worth it. That doesn’t give you the license to now parrot the opinion of the person that told you not to watch. If you want that ability, then you have to see for yourself. What happened to mind your own damn business? Where did that go? The vast majority of people in this country believe things for reasons that they cannot even come close to explaining. That goes for all of us, every race, religion, and whatever other intersectional group people want to divide us into. People admit that most everyone believes the media distorts the truth, yet people watch and believe it. Even when the actual source material is available for free with two clicks on your phone. 78% of people believe the media has a duty to report the news in a fair manner. Only 44% of journalists think they have a duty to report the news in a non bias way. Polk just came out in the last week. That is horrendous, but it is so emblematic of what the fu$k is happening in this country. Everyone needs to step off the ledge, lower their weapon, take your finger off the trigger, and just breathe. Everyone is walking around as if someone a black man is gonna appear out of the shadows and shoot a white man. And black people are scared a cop is gonna pull you over and just roll up on you and just dump his clip in you for no reason at all. This $hit is insane.

Just clicked the video and them thangs shining like some 26 ‘s on a Cutlass! 😮💨😮💨
@@nofreehooks lol she kno what she doing
She understands her assignment!
No bullshit
She never spoke on Ray Rice’s wife spitting in his face in the elevator & the shit she tried to do to Floyd Mayweather in the interview & now Molly is even worse with her personal vendetta against Watson but had no conversation about the Chad Wheeler situation
Stop trying to deflect! What type of man puts his hands on women?
@@ashcash5776 what type of woman spits in a mans face
I understand kami Samuel's way better now he is definitely right RIP
Haven’t watched this in a while, but this was a great interview. Keep bringing these wonderful women to the forefront. ❤️
I love the depth and authenticity of the conversations. She brought a lot to the table at ESPN, but they wanted to implement her voice too. She keeps it a buck and an excellent role model.
Role model? Would you teach your daughter to sit with her legs open?
She didn't bring anything to espn she thought she could bully her way to the top without actually putting in the hours!
@@nastystew6942 Exactly. Just another angry and masculine black chick.
She's phenomenal. Thanks guys for this interview. Another great one!🎯👌🏾
I agree with her when she said we must stop the back and forth, which is destroying us as a whole despite the big explosion 💥.
@Far7rom I don't she's out of line, I think we men's and the women's must find a common ground for us to become the dominant race in this country.
The white racist individuals, notice I say (racist). Some white people are good people. I won't get it twisted.
The white racist individuals already seen in as the dominant and trending ruling force in years to come.
However we are sleeping in the dreams of stupidity.
If it was not for our Strong women's, we be an extinct race.
They have every right to be boastful.
This is the BEST interview. I love her ❤️❤️
This episode and the shoes are lit 🔥🔥Always love the podcast intro 🔥🔥
Cari I loved you on First Take and throughout your career. How can you accuse a man of making a living off bashing Black women when you've never seen his content? His whole point was trying to help Black men and Black women get together. He answered a lot of the questions you brought up during this interview. Did he get famous for some of the viral comments. Yes. But the viral moments weren't the majority of the message.
One of the dopest I have seen so far 🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯
I love this podcast… and I love Brandon; but please let your guest finish their thoughts or comments as a host. You kept cutting of Cari as she was getting into points or topics… she clearly had more to say and it was moments lost. Minor criticism but that’s usually why trained broadcasters have the advantage over athletes in this field
TBH if we talk about "black love"...then we have to talk about the culture we as black people create and follow. Our culture doesn't make an environment for black love to thrive. Gotta get pass the surface talk when we're on this type of subject.
Exactly 👏👏👏
Bullet points…
*most women want a man making at least same or more than her financially
*career driven woman who makes up to $100k will not accept a man making significant less than her and at the same time allowing him to lead and protect (manly duties).
*A successful man who making up to $100k will accept a woman who is work at McDonald’s and allow her to be the supporter and nurturer and first teacher of their children. (Women duties).
***that is the difference between a man and a women***
Mr. Kevin Samuel's speaks on this topic in depth. Ms.Champion is in pursuit of a high value man.
@@nursemcfarlane6655 a women of her stature won’t be qualified for a high value man/man of value. She fits the example of a modern woman. A high value man/man of value want a traditional woman. She need to find an average man who earns less than $50k and have SIMP tendencies. A man who wouldn’t mind for her to lead or dominate the relationship.
@@dmventertainment3132 As you write it becomes clearer the venom toward Mr.Samuels is him teaching men about traditionalism and feminism. How traditionalism values are compatible with successful marriages. One other thing I like is Mr. Samuel's point older women do have too much to say about the dating market. Many are unmarried in their 40s and 50s they cannot give relationship advice.
I love Cari, I will definitely check out her podcast and I’m grateful for this episode.
great interview , it was great seeing Cari again.
One of the best sessions from IAA in a while for me. Hands down a great conversation with a lot of relevant content for us to chew on.
The last 1min priceless 😂
I have three daughters and have talked to them about dating because they are starting to have crushes and I’ve told them that the most important things to figure out is “what is his/her potential? And what do they want from you?” That is what to me is the most important questions to answer. Not where they are at that moment. Not what they do for a living. That shit is trivial and won’t help u find happiness long term.
WOW! This is a great show!!!! Going to subscribe✊🏿❤💯!!!!
I love her on the show. Have her back on. She's brilliant!
idk if y'all noticed but b Marsh is getting a lot better with the questions he ask, not saying the ones before were bad but bruh is getting better at this podcast thing and shouts out to him Forreal. also letting the guess speak but being his true self too when he wants to make a point
I literally just said this to my homegirl. He's flourishing into a journalist right before our eyes. Asking the honest, tough questions that the audience really wants to hear. I love to see it!
