Pastor Morgan baptized me in 1999 🇩🇲and he's been online preaching plus in my island maybe twice after that. He's a bold powerful and exciting preacher like Pastor Duttin and Pastor Hall in the other islands. Pastor Morgan always baptizes lots of people in his crusades. He usually has more than one day of baptisms.

They get literature to read and baptismal vows explained to them which all teach the beliefs of the church. The internet and church websites as well as conference websites and church members are readily available. If they don't want to be taught them they won't be but they are encouraged and surrounded by teachings so idk how much they are being taught on righteousness by faith but they are being taught and will continue to be for as long as they're interested.

Jesus said to teach, baptize and then teach meaning, you cannot know everything before you get baptized, you just need to know the fundamentals so you can accept Christ as your savior. So he does not need to preach in detail about the investigative judgement but he did preach about it. Tonight he preached a bit about the Mark of the Beast, he didn't go too deep but he covered the basic understand of it well. So truth is being taught and it is what folks need to know to accept Jesus. They will learn more truth from week to week when they attend church.

You know I started making videos and sharing Bible Truth on Facebook for past several months and I understand recently that God must've seen I needed help so it must've been part of his plan to send Pastor Morgan to help save lives in my country Guyana 🇬🇾. Keep doing your part too brother.
Nobody can convince me that this preaching style is a result of the Holy Spirit. If it is, then Heaven and the new earth will be populated by wild screaming, shouting and dancing people and then I will ask God: “Please let me out of here”. This theatrical performance style is madness and inspired by rock concerts. Screaming, shouting, dancing and aggressive gestures, voice and tone from the pulpit is not from God. Yes, his theology was correct, but his performance style and personal example is a shame for our church. The aim of this kind of expressive charismatic preaching is to evoke a strong EMOTIONAL response from the congregation, and the unconverted human nature loves this kind of stimulation because it is like a drug. So if many are baptized because of this kind of sermons I ask myself: What is going on among God’s professed people?
While I was listening him sing just now, my body was moving in an ungodly fashion, I stopped, indeed the devil is subtle. We cannot mix holy and profane. The thing we used to do, we do no more, there is no such thing as calypso or reggae gospel. The 2 cannot mix. Can you imagine Jesus moving his body the way we do. NOTHING Holy about such moves.

Thankfully in spite of this the Holy Spirit is working and souls are being saved. Thankfully the people who need God are focusing on him and getting the blessings and deliverance that they came to look for. I sincerely believe that praying for people when we see faults gives greater results.
The not so good about some SDA evangelistic campaigns is how the leaders set a target number for baptism, similarly to the ingathering campaign. And I've seen young people being pushed and pulled to the front just to fulfil these targets. That's wrong!!
This is not the style of Sunday preachers or even Adventist. This style is unique to Pastor Morgan. God has gifted everyone differently and those gifts should be used to glorify God and bless others. This pastor held a crusade in Guyana in 2006 and I truly experienced the Holy Sprit's presence. Many were healed and baptized.

@@leslynjohn8593 Thank you John. Actually when I post anything for the first time in a certain clip, I look for anyone to preach to. Afterwards I engage biblical matters. With this clip, I found a pastor teaching and dancing differently from other SDA pastors. I only find that kind from Sunday denominitions. It's not good at all.
His style of preaching is his. He was a calypsonian before he accepted Christ and he loves to sing. In my view, just because you might find it being done by a Sunday preacher, that doesn't just make it wrong. Lots of Sunday preachers are preaching sincerely and God will eventually bring them to the truth. So just because a Sunday preacher does something, it doesn't make it wrong. It has to just be wrong.
Lots of SDA members said I was wrong about the cross being a symbol of shame so I asked my brother who is SDA lay I preacher as I am not a Christian and this is what he sent me. Yes, you are correct, Jesus said we should "bear the cross" (Luke 14:12) not wear the cross. The wearing of the cross has historical roots in catholism and only started to be worn around 300 years AD. Also, the cross symbol ("+") is a pagan sign for Tammuz, the illegitimate son of Semiramis which was a deity that was worshipped long before the Christian church was established. Today, many well intended, genuine, yet ingonorant, Christians wear the cross to show their allegiance to Christ. Only God knows their heart. The Bible tell us in Acts 17:30 that a merciful God overlooks our ignorance, but once we become aware of the light (truth) He expects us to walk in it. Hope this helps.
Seems there's no Dress Reform here..we are called to accept Health & Dress Reform period. This is a Salvational issue. Sisters shouldn't have their thighs etc out on display..it's immodesty. We Must come up higher in everything within Bible & SoP ..cannot be 'halfbaked'..fully baked Bread from Heaven's Bakery.
The sermon is good. It's enlightening. However, some need to be taught dress reform. If they come to serve, dressed that way, you can't stop them from coming but you can't allow them on the altar... period!

Brother Lawrence, On Sabbath afternoon, I tuned into the channel just as they were about to begin the Divine Service. To my surprise, a wedding ceremony took place right before the Pastor stood up to preach. I, along with a few others, expressed our concerns and requested clarification on the appropriateness of such an event during the Sabbath service. A member, presumably from the Guyana SDA Church, mentioned that the couple who were married were scheduled to be baptized later that afternoon. The Pastor also stated that the wedding reception would occur after the Sabbath. When I voiced my concern about the couple being "joined in Holy matrimony" on the Sabbath prior to baptism, the administrators of the RUclips live service chose to block me and others who shared similar views. While I appreciate the efforts they have made in leading many souls to baptism, I believe it's important not to overlook areas where there may be missteps. I hold my brothers and sisters in Guyana in high regard, and my intent is not to attack but to seek clarity, as we are supposed to share the same faith. Unfortunately, the Pastor later addressed the issue, acknowledging that some of us were upset by the wedding taking place on Sabbath. He mentioned that he had conducted similar ceremonies in various parts of the world and suggested that those who did not agree should simply leave. I hope my concerns can be seen as an opportunity for dialogue and understanding rather than as a confrontation.
Marriage is a sacred institution. God ordained that a man and woman should be united in holy wedlock and it is in done before God and in the presence of the heavenly universe. That’s what God intended. So, if you have two people who were living together without the benefit of marriage, but who now want to confess, and forsake their sin and set themselves right, and they chose to get baptized to seal their decisions, then all of that is holy - a sacred rite akin to doing good on the Sabbath. These days, what we have are wedding celebrations- a frivolity more about the dress, venue, food, music and entertainment. In many cases, God was never consulted. And when it doesn’t work out, oh well, we just break it asunder. Marriage has a holy purpose --to ultimately help each other grow closer to Christ. And just like the Sabbath, Jesus put His seal on the marriage institution. That’s why it is called holy matrimony. And to preserve the sanctity of the Sabbath, notice that the pastor said the reception happens after sunset. Now I don’t say that we should routinely schedule weddings for Sabbath. This, as far as I can tell, is clearly a special occasion - a high Sabbath for the couple coming out of darkness into God’s marvelous light. Hope this helps.
@IvanVanHeerden Marriage is holy (Heb. 13:4); so is the Sabbath (Ex. 20:11); there's no incompatibility there. Do you suppose it was just coincidental that Jesus' first miracle, as it is written, occurred in the context of a wedding (John 2)? It's something to think about.

It seems purposeful that God created man on the 6th day, joined them in marriage on the same day, and then allowed them to rest thereafter. Is there any scripture that supports the practice of solemnizing marriages on the Sabbath, or could this be a human creation ? Additionally, the couple in question was married by a pastor before being baptized. Could you provide insight into the appropriate order-should marriage precede baptism, or should baptism come first?

If not then God have mercy .. That "bridge" that he likes to refer to when spoken about his musical escapades on the pulpit, which he explains brings the people from the other religions over to Adventism work both ways. Members in spirit have become Pentecostal in their worship style because of this minister. Bro Lawrence, may be you don't know the former calypsonian. you can take some out of Egypt but you can take Egypt out of Some. we cannot have the world and Adventism.. So you can see the problem of compromise knows no boundaries . Apostasy is even in the Caribbean. May the eyesalve of the Spirit of Prophecy help our people worldwide.

This theatrical performance style is madness and inspired by rock concerts. Screaming, shouting, dancing and aggressive gestures, voice and tone from the pulpit is not from God. Yes, his theology was correct, but his performance style and personal example is a shame for our church.
The aim of this kind of expressive charismatic preaching is to evoke a strong EMOTIONAL response from the congregation, and the unconverted human nature loves this kind of stimulation because it is like a drug. So if many are baptized because of this kind of sermons I ask myself: What is going on among God’s professed people?

While I was listening him sing just now, my body was moving in an ungodly fashion, I stopped, indeed the devil is subtle. We cannot mix holy and profane. The thing we used to do, we do no more, there is no such thing as calypso or reggae gospel. The 2 cannot mix. Can you imagine Jesus moving his body the way we do. NOTHING Holy about such moves.

Thankfully in spite of this the Holy Spirit is working and souls are being saved. Thankfully the people who need God are focusing on him and getting the blessings and deliverance that they came to look for. I sincerely believe that praying for people when we see faults gives greater results.

The not so good about some SDA evangelistic campaigns is how the leaders set a target number for baptism, similarly to the ingathering campaign. And I've seen young people being pushed and pulled to the front just to fulfil these targets. That's wrong!!

The SDA is conforming to the style of preaching from the notorious Sunday pastors.
This is not the style of Sunday preachers or even Adventist. This style is unique to Pastor Morgan. God has gifted everyone differently and those gifts should be used to glorify God and bless others. This pastor held a crusade in Guyana in 2006 and I truly experienced the Holy Sprit's presence. Many were healed and baptized.

@@leslynjohn8593 Thank you John. Actually when I post anything for the first time in a certain clip, I look for anyone to preach to. Afterwards I engage biblical matters. With this clip, I found a pastor teaching and dancing differently from other SDA pastors. I only find that kind from Sunday denominitions. It's not good at all.
His style of preaching is his. He was a calypsonian before he accepted Christ and he loves to sing. In my view, just because you might find it being done by a Sunday preacher, that doesn't just make it wrong. Lots of Sunday preachers are preaching sincerely and God will eventually bring them to the truth. So just because a Sunday preacher does something, it doesn't make it wrong. It has to just be wrong.

Lots of SDA members said I was wrong about the cross being a symbol of shame so I asked my brother who is SDA lay I preacher as I am not a Christian and this is what he sent me.
Yes, you are correct, Jesus said we should "bear the cross" (Luke 14:12) not wear the cross. The wearing of the cross has historical roots in catholism and only started to be worn around 300 years AD.
Also, the cross symbol ("+") is a pagan sign for Tammuz, the illegitimate son of Semiramis which was a deity that was worshipped long before the Christian church was established.
Today, many well intended, genuine, yet ingonorant, Christians wear the cross to show their allegiance to Christ. Only God knows their heart. The Bible tell us in Acts 17:30 that a merciful God overlooks our ignorance, but once we become aware of the light (truth) He expects us to walk in it.

The sermon is good. It's enlightening. However, some need to be taught dress reform. If they come to serve, dressed that way, you can't stop them from coming but you can't allow them on the altar... period!

Brother Lawrence, On Sabbath afternoon, I tuned into the channel just as they were about to begin the Divine Service. To my surprise, a wedding ceremony took place right before the Pastor stood up to preach. I, along with a few others, expressed our concerns and requested clarification on the appropriateness of such an event during the Sabbath service. A member, presumably from the Guyana SDA Church, mentioned that the couple who were married were scheduled to be baptized later that afternoon. The Pastor also stated that the wedding reception would occur after the Sabbath.
When I voiced my concern about the couple being "joined in Holy matrimony" on the Sabbath prior to baptism, the administrators of the RUclips live service chose to block me and others who shared similar views. While I appreciate the efforts they have made in leading many souls to baptism, I believe it's important not to overlook areas where there may be missteps.
I hold my brothers and sisters in Guyana in high regard, and my intent is not to attack but to seek clarity, as we are supposed to share the same faith. Unfortunately, the Pastor later addressed the issue, acknowledging that some of us were upset by the wedding taking place on Sabbath. He mentioned that he had conducted similar ceremonies in various parts of the world and suggested that those who did not agree should simply leave.
I hope my concerns can be seen as an opportunity for dialogue and understanding rather than as a confrontation.
Marriage is a sacred institution. God ordained that a man and woman should be united in holy wedlock and it is in done before God and in the presence of the heavenly universe. That’s what God intended. So, if you have two people who were living together without the benefit of marriage, but who now want to confess, and forsake their sin and set themselves right, and they chose to get baptized to seal their decisions, then all of that is holy - a sacred rite akin to doing good on the Sabbath.
These days, what we have are wedding celebrations- a frivolity more about the dress, venue, food, music and entertainment. In many cases, God was never consulted. And when it doesn’t work out, oh well, we just break it asunder.
Marriage has a holy purpose --to ultimately help each other grow closer to Christ. And just like the Sabbath, Jesus put His seal on the marriage institution. That’s why it is called holy matrimony. And to preserve the sanctity of the Sabbath, notice that the pastor said the reception happens after sunset.
Now I don’t say that we should routinely schedule weddings for Sabbath. This, as far as I can tell, is clearly a special occasion - a high Sabbath for the couple coming out of darkness into God’s marvelous light. Hope this helps.

@IvanVanHeerden Marriage is holy (Heb. 13:4); so is the Sabbath (Ex. 20:11); there's no incompatibility there. Do you suppose it was just coincidental that Jesus' first miracle, as it is written, occurred in the context of a wedding (John 2)? It's something to think about.

@@trav8080 Thank you for your response. I believe that the Sabbath is intended to be dedicated to God. He set the Sabbath apart for us to rest and focus on Him. It seems purposeful that God created man on the 6th day, joined them in marriage on the same day, and then allowed them to rest thereafter. Is there any scripture that supports the practice of solemnizing marriages on the Sabbath, or could this be a human creation ?
Additionally, the couple in question was married by a pastor before being baptized. Could you provide insight into the appropriate order-should marriage precede baptism, or should baptism come first?

If the "singing evangelist" has changed then Glory to God. If not then God have mercy .. That "bridge" that he likes to refer to when spoken about his musical escapades on the pulpit, which he explains brings the people from the other religions over to Adventism work both ways. Members in spirit have become Pentecostal in their worship style because of this minister. Bro Lawrence, may be you don't know the former calypsonian. you can take some out of Egypt but you can take Egypt out of Some. we cannot have the world and Adventism.. So you can see the problem of compromise knows no boundaries . Apostasy is even in the Caribbean. May the eyesalve of the Spirit of Prophecy help our people worldwide.
