    Actually, it's well established that the Borg "proper" survived the events of "Endgame" but the loss of their Transwarp Hubs set them back quite a bit.

      To quote from Picard, the original Borg were “functionally hobbled” by Janeway’s neurolytic pathogen. Essentially kneecapped for the past 30 years, at least as far the Federation is concerned.

    Honestly the Bounty might be the most important ship in that museum. Saved the whales, earth and starfleet headquarters. Not saying voyager betting the crap out of the borg wasn't more important. Just that voyager may never have happened without star trek 4....or maybe🤷‍♂️And I could watch the defiant fight all day 🖖🙂 awesome as always my friend 🖖

    In relation to the Borg Queen I theorise that there are 2 Borg queens, 2 factions, the one seen in Star Trek: Picard is now the peaceful Borg and the other one in the Delta Quadrant.

      @ozelhassan8576 Год назад

      @@derekdiltz5978 I’m not forgetting them, when I wrote this I was thinking about them but as far as know they don’t have a Queen they are a cooperative, just as you said. There might be only 2 Borg queens. I wonder though if say in the 32nd century that cooperative is part of the federation, what do you think their future could be especially as they are located in the delta Quadrant, they are vulnerable as they don’t have a ship to protect them, what do you think, will we ever see them again?

    Most important is a toss up between the NX-01 for its efforts in the Xindi War and the H.M.S. Bounty for bringing back the whales and saving Earth.

  • @TrentonBennett
    @TrentonBennett Год назад

    Ya the Sao Paulo when they renamed her Defiant didn't have a cloaking device like the original. The Romulans loaned the Federation a cloaking device only for use in the Gamma Quadrant and to gather intel on the Dominion.
    In the episode "Way Of The Warrior", Sisko used it in Federation space to get to Dukat to escort his ship out of the war zone when they were at war with the Klingons because of the idiot Gowron. Anyways Bashir reminded Sisko that their use of the cloaking device in the Alpha Quadrant was strictly prohibited with their agreement with the Romulans. He acknowledged that but then reminded him there were hundreds of Klingon ships between them and Dukat and he wanted to make the rendezvous in one piece.
    I agree the most important ship to the fleet museum was Voyager. I think the second most important was the Enterprise-A, simply because Kirk commanded it.

  • @sharonec5419
    @sharonec5419 2 месяца назад

    I don't think Voyager would be the most important ship in the fleet museum. It might be the most popular and the most visited but as for most important that would easily go to one of the Entetprise's.

  • @crownprincesebastianjohano7069

    The key to fighting any ship with pulse weapons is to either keep your distance so you can evade their weapons, or get in their tight inside the weapon arcs. Because Sisko likes to swing for the fences.

    Good video. What I gathered from the latest Picard episode is, it does in fact confirm that the Defiant (Sao Palo) did not have cloak... Why? Because why would they have taken the cloak from the Bounty, which is at the very least a century old and not from the Defiant which more then likely had a more newer and advanced cloak? I loved that episode by the way... It also, sadly, confirms that the Enterprise E was in fact destroyed... So I am sad about that... The Enterprise E wasn't in the museum, unless, it was literally inside the station and we simply haven't seen it yet.

    • @es9787
      @es9787 Год назад

      i theorize that the cloaking device was returned to the Romulans at some point prior to it being decommissioned or perhaps never was given a cloaking device as the original purpose was for intelligence sharing from the Gamma Quadrant. with the war raging in the Alpha/Beta quadrants and subsequent end of the war, no need to loan Starfleet another cloak

  • @crownprincesebastianjohano7069

    I have to disagree about Voyager being the top dog at the Museum. Maybe for recency bias, but several ships have had more of an impact on the history of the Federation. The most impact? NX-01 probably. So many human firsts, so many first contacts and above all the ship responsible for the birth of the Federation. Also saved Earth, and put an end to the destructive conflicts between Vulcan and Andor. After that, the Enterprise-A by virtue of being Kirk's ship, and responsible for peace with the Klingons.

    No way Voyager would had beat the USS Defiant. Remember it was purely a war ship ("escort vessel"), extremely maneuverable, the quad phasers were her biggest weapon, and if you got into range to them, say goodbye.

      @jasonwestwood7092 9 месяцев назад

      Your dreaming Voyager was a match for the Enterprise E with her upgrades could beat 2 Defiants at once the Defiants cloak wouldn't hide her at close range Voyager had the best sensor's in the fleet and could configure her defectors to emitter Tachyon pulses when they collide with a solid object they reflect back allowing triangulation of the cloaked ships position only Thelaron which inhibits Tachyons and Phased cloaks are immune.

      @@RetroBadgerGaming Realistically, considering the sheer amount of older ships (Mirandas, Excelsiors, etc. that were probably destoryed during the Dominion War, the fleet would have to be rebuilt. However, I don't see them being able to afford or logistically be able to replace effectively the entire fleet.
      If anything we should see numerous Akiras, Sabers, Norways, Defiants, Prometheuses, Intrepids, Sovereigns, etc. as they were the most modern tech that existed immediately after the war. I could see a few newer ships, but they would be vastly outnumebred. Sort of how like during the Battle of Wolf 359 with the exception of the Galaxy and Nebula Class ships, everything else was TMP era or at least a few decades old.
      If they did this, it would have made people happy thanks to nostalgia and would have made more sense.
