She is the standard by which I compare every other performer. She controlled everything and everyone in that room with her voice alone. No lights, dancers, etc. but she took them all on a ride by just standing there and using her voice. Also give it all the way up for her background singers and band. They were immaculate.
Something you don't see anymore is one performer without all the un needed extras dancing around in the back distracting you from how typical there voice really is. Back in the day singers become famous because of talent, learned professional skill and age which brought life experience. It was a perfect recipe for brilliance.

She has a billboard version of this that I think is better it's when her voice was entering its prime like when she recorded the bodyguard album! Billboard 91, that mid belt at5:29 is everything!!!
