As a matter of fact, Billy Joel saw Christie Brinkley, Elle MacPherson and Whitney Houston and he came up with a song originally calling it Uptown Girls but then changed it to Uptown Girl for his soon to be wife Christie Brinkley. Then afterwards Whitney left modeling to go back to singing.

You have to realise this was very early into her career & many people in this audience will have heard her songs on the radio & this would've been the first time hearing her live. Whitney live was a completely different experience to the studio.
One of the greatest vocalists of all time with pure power she could just literally turn on like flipping a switch, and with it one of the greatest tragedies how the latter part of her life those last years how it went that meant she left us way too soon.
Only her stellar presence, mesmerizing performance.
