Oh man, the wake n shake alarms always put me in a bad mood waking up when I was in high-school. It’s interesting that your experience, you found it natural, I found it to be the opposite, personally. Nowadays, I’m so grateful for my Apple Watch, it uses haptic feedback to wake me up. So much more gentle but strong enough that I can’t sleep through it and doesn’t feel like my entire head is vibrating from the shaking from wake n shake alarm lol. I don’t have a biological clock to wake me up, it’d be too risky for me to rely on that when I have to get up at 5am for work, for example. Cool video! My shake-awake alarm clock was a battery operated one, it didn’t have the bells and whistles of yours. I like that your old one gives customised options.

You’re wise to have an alarm for an early job!! It is hard to wake up early. At least for me it is.

When my hearing went south. The wife would shake me awake, "turn the alarm off." Eventually somehow I learned to wake at any time I thought to, strange. So, fear of being shakin loose every morning by the Warden, my body adjusted. Haha.

I use a Sonic Bomb alarm clock. It's so loud I'm the only one who likes it.
